Dont touch this company

Dont touch this company. The transfer van stunk of BO and fuel. The driver never spoke to us. We had to wait over an hour because we were told we missed our pick up slot...even though we were 33,000 ft up in the air at the time. Surely they have the ability to see when the plane has landed...and we were on time. Would not use this firm again under any circumstances. Yes it was cheap we now know why.

Avoid at all costs- vehicle not taxed

Avoid at all costs. Late collecting. Vehicle stunk of diesel fumes inside. I did a vehicle check and it was untaxed in August , tax expired in June. Driver used mobile phone whilst driving. No tax means vehicles insurance would not be valid. Passengers at risk. Dodgy company. Hidden charges. Don’t answer their phone when calling. Very unprofessional. avoid

Pay a bit more elsewhere for peace of mind

the Vito that took us to the airport was old and sticky. the Renault trafic that collected us was late, stinks like it's been in a garage for weeks and has no mot. reg Sc56bxn. will never use again. the car park that they use appears like a dodgy used car sales pitch on back streets of Ashton under lyne, not lit up and did not feel safe there with my family. wouldn't take much to lease a couple of mini buses and put on a shirt and tie if you want to compete with the others. can't help but feel we were lucky that nothing untoward happened.

This was my first time using this service and they were brilliant! No hanging around I was dropped off at the airport on time and picked up on time.

A fair review :

So I’m trying to make this as honest as possible.
The site is in Ashton- this was ok for us as we were on that side of the city. However- I can’t recall that you get to know where this is before booking which if we were the other side of the city would have been an issue. Extra charges for drop off and pick up are in the confirmation email - I feel like either this isn’t clear before you book. They’d be far better just quoting this in the overall cost as after adding this it wasn’t a much cheaper option than direct. We saved about a tenner.
Yes the site is not pristine, but it is functional and looked secure enough. My car isn’t pristine either so wasn’t a concern. Rang to confirm our arrival and was promptly greeted and taken to airport in good time. I agree the minibus needs a clean- there were half eaten sandwiches in the back. However- The driver was friendly and courteous. We could see he is v busy back and forth. (Perhaps why bus clean may be overlooked prioritising people not being late) No problem with him at all.
Return pickup-was told where to meet and promptly picked up. Took about 30 mins. No issues.

So, I suppose I would say didn’t have any issues at all functionally. Perhaps someone to give the bus a quick check over for rubbish between jobs and make the extra charges part of the quote and I think most people would be ok with it.

Would I use again? Probably. If they are cheaper than airport close to or onsite: taking the charges into account. I had no issues really, so as ok as you know what’s what then it’s a no frills service at a fair price.

Absolutely rubbish experience

Absolutely rubbish experience, the vehicles they have are they cars you'll put to scrap so dont leave your nice cars here. The collection vans are not in legal limit to drive and you have to wait more than half the day for these to arrive. DONT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

NO STARS FOR SCAMMERS This is my second review of this scam…

This is my second review of this scam outfit GIANT PARKING Manchester I have my money back now but the bank is still investigating them to obtain the £15 pounds admins fee which is a scam all reviews are true apart from the 5 star reviews as there names seem to be falsehood I read the reviews after being scammed by making a booking then realising I could not cancel straight away after clicking the link for terms that’s when I emailed them telephoned them then immediately contacted my bank same hour immediately because the scam of extra charges and no response from the email sent on 05/07/25 Saturday only to be told they would refund my money since this fee was pending they took the payment Monday morning still no reply from Giant Parking contacted my bank again who then opened a case against them and there’s no customer service and the waste land they park I’m glad I cancelled the booking they are scamming people and if you have booked with them I would have to think about security as thefts are happening and vehicles stolen and the main problem is your not insured and they take no liability so people think on I can only speak for myself as I will never ever park or use them ever scamming people and I would say money laundering with the extra charges why is it not in the booking fee even when one vehicle takes you into the airport is £6 pounds in and £6 pounds exit fee so £12 pounds for several people’s booked vehicles is profit in the back pocket pay by card they will probably have a separate account which may not be traceable so please 🙏 be advised of this GIANT PARKING MANCHESTER ARE SCAMMERS AND FRAUDULENT BEWARE??? And NO RESPONSE BACK FROM THE PARKING BUSINESS NO BALLS TO RESPOND SCAMMERS TRADING STANDARDS NEED TO LOOK AT THIS BUSINESS SCAM????

The staff were amazing

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They make sure that your ideals are met and fulfilled. They also make it their priority to get you exactly to your destination. Doesn't take long either. Whenever you return the responses are instant. Will definitely go again next year.

Positive experience

On arrival, you do wonder where you are as there are no signs. We paid the airport drop off and pick up charges that aren‘t included in the booking price but it does state this on the site when you book. Staff were really friendly. They parked our car and handed the keys back, got us to the airport in plenty of time. On arrival back we called them as per their instructions and they arrived within 20 minutes. We picked our car back up no problem. Yes it looks like a bit of wasteland, however it does what it says, you park the car and they get you to the airport, staff are friendly just very no frills. Would use again as absolutely no issues.

Please Avoid for your sanity

Rarely use the review platform to put negative reviews on but this company is by far the most unprofessional I have came across. My dissatisfaction is due to the following reasons.

On travelling to the airport, we arrived and wanted to know where to park the car but the driver said we could not park it and asked for my car keys so he could park the car. He moved the car not far and forgot to lock it before returning my keys. Luckily I noticed the mirrors weren't up so I locked it before they transferred us to the airport. They asked for an extra £12 which wasn't stated previously.

The condition of the bus they used to transfer us was poor and did not feel safe. The driver was unhygienic, was unapproachable and disinterested in making us feel comfortable.

On picking us up when we returned from holiday the driver was 1 hour late and then decided to wait around for 2 more flights to come in before driving back to our car. The driver did this without explaining what would be happening. Therefore we had to wait 2 hours to be transferred back to the car then the driver decided to break the speed limit to hastily get us back whilst my children were scared in the back of the van. The fact that all 3 parties within the van had paid separate fees for transport and "airport tax" we should not have had to wait for other flights.

I would never use this company again, please do not book with them as they do not care about their customers at all

Avoid them!!!
They refuse to make a refund for my cancellation . Wrote that I had to wait 15 working days which is against the Englis law. I am already speak with solicitor about it and wrote official complaint .
Hopefully I will receive my refund soon.

We used giant parking and the whole process was an absolute rip off . When we arrived at the parking it was disgusting , there was rubbish just left lying and lots of flies around it , the smell was disgusting , also we were charged a further £13 when we arrived which we didn’t know about . I booked my return for a day later incase we were delayed and when I called to be picked up it took the driver over an hour to arrive . The mini bus was disgustingly dirty and I don’t think it was even road worthy also the driver was dirty and smelled .he also charged a further £20 because I was a day earlier . The whole experience was terrible I’m not sure how they get away with this cowboy business . I won’t be using this company ( if you can even call it a company ) again

Avoid

General feel is a company poorly run. Driver using his mobile phone while driving for a call and texting.
He also drove on the hard shoulder to make up time.

Clearly an issue with poor communication as well. After initial booking I sent a text to amend the timings by just over an hour, this was acknowledged and I received a reply.
When I arrived the ‘system’ had not been updated so I was refused an earlier shuttle to the airport. A refund was also refused so with fingers crossed I travelled on the later shuttle and missed my flight.
I managed to rebook the flight for 12 hours later and called Giant parking to move my booking return date back 24 hours.
I was told this was fine and as a goodwill gesture there would be no additional charges.
When I landed I was told I was late and the ‘system’ had not been updated.

Feels very much like a couple of local idiots have clubbed together, bought some land and a mini bus and are ‘giving it a go’.
I wish them luck but I won’t be using them again.

Cheap, but won't be using again.

The term "Car Park" is stretched to its very limit with this place. The plot is basically waste land with all kinds if debris scattered across it at the back of what looks like a scrap yard.

On collecting my car, I noticed two large blocks of wood with nails through them just to the side of my front tyres, how I didn't have a puncher was down to shear luck.

There is what looks to be a derelict building where "the staff" sit with a port-a-loo to the side, which is in a disgusting state.

The people who work here struggle to communicate in English, which is a real issue. Additionally i would be surprised if the minibuses used to undertake the airport transfers are road legal.

They also charge you an additional £12 to cover drop offs and pick ups, despite there being multiple groups travelling in the same minibus.

Drop off at the airport was smooth, however it was 3a.m.!

Collection, we waited for an hour before being picked up, and it took nearly 2 hours to get back from the airport to the car park due to an accident.

Was cheap, but won't be using again.

Honest review

I booked as I got a very good deal but wish I had just paid the extra.
When I arrived I was already worried as there is no sign for this business and you end up in a place I can only describe as a parking lot/selling/scrapyard like place with rubbish everywhere and a portaloo. When I arrived I had to wait in the carpark for 30 mins until the driver got back to take us.
The vans I am surprised if they have genuine passes for MOTS. Horrific sounding, old, stained smelly vehicles. Outer plastic hanging off the windows etc. More dents than I could count.
Returned and called at baggage and he claimed he was on his way. I waited over an hour at express parking with my 5 year old. Phoned him and he was not communicative or understandable. Yes there was an accident causing chaos on the road but there was no communication at all. Eventually arrived in a vehicle just as bad as the other but we were a full vehicle and stuck in a diversion for 2 hours in a van with no proper working air so we were cooking. Windows were broken and it was honestly horrific. Never again. I'll pay the extra
