Frustrated customer

Wasn’t that easy to redeem our voucher as every request had to be passed to ‘the supplier’. We were back and forward on email trying to get a suitable date for a show. In the end we opted for any show on any night. Not ideal. We’re booked now though. That said, the people we dealt with on email were polite and helpful. I’m not sure I’d use this company again as the booking process was very long winded.

From what you’ve described, it sounds very much like the voucher you used was for an external entertainment provider. As we’re a reseller of various gift cards, anything not issued directly by ourselves has to be redeemed through the supplier’s own platform, as we don’t have access to their internal booking systems. I’ve checked our support inboxes and haven’t been able to trace any correspondence from you, which makes me think this review may have been intended for the entertainment provider rather than for us.

That said, I’m glad to hear the team you dealt with were polite and helpful, and even more pleased that you’ve now managed to get a show booked. I truly hope it turns out to be a brilliant night out.

If you ever do use one of our own gift cards in future, the experience should be far more straightforward. But either way, I appreciate you sharing your experience.

Why do you have to pay £2.50 per gift

Why every time is there an additional £2.50 levied, taking two bites of the cherry. This for each time you use for a new e card for whatever you want, robbery

Fraudulent activity almost always involves digital gift cards, which are typically redeemed within minutes. When a refund isn’t possible, it’s because we’ve already attempted to devalue the purchased cards, but they had unfortunately been used by the time the issue was reported.

For your own safety, I strongly recommend getting in touch with your bank so they can block your card and guide you on any next steps. It’s also important to file a report with Report Fraud via the official police website: https://www.reportfraud.police.uk/.

The gift cards were fraudulently purchased

The gift cards were fraudulently ordered. A friend’s e-mail account was hacked, and I received a request from “ her” to send 3 gift cards in the amount of £100 each to an ailing friend. I did so inasmuch as she is tending to her husband with dementia. Only after ordering the three gift cards did I hear from her that she had been hacked and had not made the request. I would like restitution to be made to my credit card account for the fraud perpetrated on me by an unknown person requesting these gift cards.

Fraudulent activity of this kind almost always involves digital gift cards, which are typically redeemed within minutes. I’ve traced the order linked to your review and attempted to devalue the cards, but they had already been redeemed by the time we reached them. Because of this, the order can’t be cancelled and a refund isn’t possible on our side.

I completely understand how frustrating and upsetting this must be. The best next step is to contact your bank straightaway so they can block your card and guide you on any protections they can offer. It’s also important to report the incident to Report Fraud (https://www.reportfraud.police.uk/) so the authorities can log the case.
