They're awful. I was bought the card as a gift but can't redeem it for the shop I'd like (permanently out of stock apparently). Even if I could, I then have to print the gift code...print?! It's 2022. The website continuously crashes and resets itself. I'm going to end up just having to cash it in - if the website ever works - for something I don't really want, just to ensure I have used it, which makes me feel bad for the people that so kindly bought it for me. The company is immoral in my opinion. Absolutely do not purchase one of these cards!!

Don’t get one! To begin with, it’s unnecessarily tricky to register the card, taking a lot of time and effort just so that you can effectively use your own money to purchase something. Once you’ve registered, you have to choose one store (from a limited list, despite them advertising the card as having enormous choice) where you have to spend all of the money in a limited 12 month timeframe. I chose Argos, as there was something I wanted. Unfortunately, Argos had no stock of anything I wanted but the card could not then be swapped so that you can spend your own money somewhere else, basically meaning you end up either having to buy something you don’t want, or just losing the money - useless!

CARD IS ONLY VALID FOR 12 MONTHS, SO MAKE SURE YOU USE IT EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING YOU DON'T WANT, ELSE MONEY IS LOST. GIFT CHOICE MUST MAKE A FORTUNE ON UNREDEEMED CARDS.

Like many others I found the log on issue was a problem. I managed to log on eventually when I changed my username to use letters AND numbers AND an underscore. Not sure if this is what done it but I was able to log on.

Hi folks I had a youchoose a gift card for my birthday last week it was for £25,I tried relentlessly to activate it but all it said was something went wrong my sons and grandsons tried but alas they failed also.
Today I gave it one last shot and instead of using Google I tried on Safari my big mistake was that I keep typing in my email for my username which causes the confusion I tried twice today and guess what it worked hope this is useful,good luck

i have gone and brough a 125 pound worth of these today the person whos gift they was went to redeem then and cant even use then these was ment to be a presant for some one its a joke i bought then from currys i will be taken them back tomoz and telling them they need to take them out of their store

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I have been trying to contact them for months about the inability to see a voucher code and had no response. I have now contacted black hawk as a review below said they purchased the company

This company are an absolute nightmare to deal with. I received a £25 gift card for Christmas and after about 50 attempts my card still won’t register and the company keep relaying the same information to me without actually resolving the issue, avoid this company at all costs! Complete scam artists. Do not be fooled by good reviews, it’s probably their own staff writing them.

I tried many times to redeem my card until I decided to email Blackhawk Network who acquired the company and thankfully i was able to use the value of my gift card. I had honestly more or less given up after messaging gift choice online numerous times to no avail. E-mail Blackhawk Network instead as I finally got a good result.

Website gives error message on registration so i am unable to redeem gift card. Emailed awaiting responce

I was given a Gift Choice Gift Card as a gift. When scratching the card to see the number, part of the number came off. I have emailed and completed their online form numerous times all to no avail. An absolute nightmare to try deal with this company and no means of getting the money back or a new card issued. None of their listed companies know how to assist in this issue.

Everything everyone has said about these vouchers are true, I received this as a gift and have never been able to use it, when i request a voucher it says its unavailable and now it says my voucher has expired. I have emailed several times and no response. A complete waste of a gift.....very disappointed.

Do not buy these gift cards as you are not able to redeem them and the company do not respond to contact with them. Disgusting!

Absolute scam artists. The vouchers are not redeemable. Their website takes you on a merry go-around, so you actually think you're getting somewhere, then nothing happens! The site will ask you for your user name again and then act like the username you are entering is incorrect. I have contacted them and have been since January 2022 I have received 3 emails back telling me they are looking into it still nothing. Stay well away and spend your money else where or just wipe your bottom with it because that's all your effectively doing buying these vouchers

Really disappointed, I received my vouchers as a Christmas gift and tried to use them and every time the voucher I requested not available, I have emailed 4 times and even though it states you will get a response within 24 hours you never get a response.

Don't buy these cards you cannot redeem your voucher and the customer online system never comeback to you. Plus there is no telephone number to contact anyone. A complete waste of time and money - they are a scam. Hi to all those that are having problems trying to redeem there gift card. I have tracked down the company Blackhawk Network telephone number 02074198100 you need to leave a message as they do not answer but I did get a call back the following day. My issue is still not resolved yet. Hope this helps
