Complete scam. Given card as leaving gift collection. Tried to scratch silver off to reveal redemption code. So slippy and hard to do that it took half the code with it. Card just disintegrated. Same... See more

Reported to Action Fraud & Money Saving Expert

Having been a victim of the same issue, buying a gift card in good faith and finding that it cannot be redeemed on the website, I have reported the matter to Action Fraud and Money Saving Expert to further investigate. This has to be stopped as the cards are still being sold in major retail outlets to consumers.

Live application for dissolving company

Cannot convert voucher codes to vouchers. Website says “local server error”. Companies House shows an application was made in June 2021 for this company to be dissolved, and then an extension made. £900 vouchers purchased in August 2021 - so Giftchoice have continued to sell giftcards despite live application for dissolving the company. Total scam/fraud!

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company, been trying for over a week numerous times a day with no luck trying to convert my giftchoice card. I've also contacted their customer service via email 4 or 5 times (the only contact method available) also with no luck, they just don't get back to you. It's always error code 404 or 500 n states to contact system administrator but doesn't give you any details on how to.
Update
After trying for the best part of a month at all hours of the day I finally got to use the vouchers by logging onto the site as normal, just by pot luck it worked once in around the hundredth time I tried, even tried at 3am 12pm etc, all hours of the day n night). I have informed argos of the chew n told them about others having the same problem n argos from Hartlepool said that she would try to get them took of the shelf, the next time I went to argos the gift choice cards weren't there but gift choices brand of other gift cards were still up so just beware before you trust what a well known shop sells try researching it for real reviews (a quick trustpilot lookup on Google should be enough), she had also stated another customer had recently been in complaining of the same thing

Same as previous reviews

Same as previous reviews, unable to redeem gift vouchers and keep getting error message. No reply to any messages sent.

As a sidenote they did work about 10 days ago so hopefully all is not lost.

Can't be redeemed

Given gift card for Christmas. First it needs to be redeem for the store of your choice, so can't be used straight away. Then when try to redeem it is "out of stock due to high demand". Crazy! This is the same as others have found. Also shows company logos on the card that are no longer part of the scheme.
If anybody is thinking of buying these as a gift don't!

This company is a disgrace! Wanting to redeem in Sainsbury’s but informed the the e-cards are ‘out of stock’. How on earth can an electronic card (that has already been paid for) be out of stock!! I think a call to the regulators may be in order!! 😡😡

Avoid at all costs

Very limited shops to redeem from, when you do try and redeem majority of them are out of stock. Gift choice should be avoided at all costs

Unable to redeem. Avoid this rip off.

Same as other users, this is a gift card to purchase, wait for it....gift cards! Except the e-gift cards you are supposed to redeem against are out of stock. How does that work...an e-card is virtual and is not a stocked item. So you end up with a card you can't redeem, in short, theft. Avoid. And lobby the retailer who sells these to stop their sale.
Just give cash or an instant balance retailer specific card.
