Lovely gift but the gift wrap was poor and not worth the money. I think a note should be put in the box just saying they are soapstones as this is important to the choice made.

I wanted to place an order on their…
I wanted to place an order on their Etsy store for some canvas tote bags, but the price kept going up the more I put in my basket!
Their bags are advertised at £4.49 each which is £17.96. They then sent a 10% off coupon which made the bags £16.16, plus £3.95 for 1st class post which brings the total to £20.11 which I was happy with.
However when I started adding the personalised names for each bag as requested, this then made the bags £5.39 each plus a whopping £9.92 in postage costs making the order nearly £30!
When I sent a message to question this I was told "We do charge for each additional item due to postage cost increases for multiple items."
I explained the above and said you can't charge more for the bags as well as charge more for postage! It does not cost nearly £10 to send 4 small tote bags. I send parcels with Royal Mail all the time and it does not cost this much to send a small parcel.
But if you order on their website, guess what the price of the bag stays as advertised and the postage cost doesn't increase! It seems they change their mind on what they fancy charging on Etsy to get more money out of people.
I like to support small business, but not when I'm being ripped off! I've taken my business elsewhere to a much nicer lady who was far more helpful and even gave me free delivery!

We did explain that postage costs on Etsy increase with each additional item due to the way Etsy calculates shipping based on weight and size brackets. This is out of our control, and we do our best to remain transparent in our pricing structure. We also took the time to respond to your question promptly.
Rather than accepting the explanation or choosing to order via our website, where, as you correctly pointed out, postage is fixed, you chose to write a lengthy complaint. It’s also worth noting that a quick look at your Trustpilot profile shows every review you've left is negative, which suggests this may be a pattern rather than a one-off issue.
We are a small family business doing our very best to provide quality products and honest service. While we understand we won’t be the right fit for everyone, we don’t feel your accusations of being “ripped off” are fair or accurate.

Poor quality, no refunds after more than 30 days.
Ordered 72£ of gifts, including 2 mugs 11£ each. One of the mugs started showing a brownish discharge coming from underneath the metal top lining. Cleaning impossible. Clearly poor quality. No refunds if no complaints within 30 days. Never again!

Item was delivered to wrong house. Photo was of a completely different house and not of a house nearby. I called but was told I had to deal with Royal Mail. I called royal mail who said it was delivered to the correct house but the photo is not the house. So no item delivered and this was for a surprise 70th birthday party. I ordered well in time, but lady didnt get her present.

Unfortunately, once the parcel is with Royal Mail, we don’t have control over the final delivery, but we completely understand how disappointing this situation must be, especially as the gift was meant for such a special occasion.
We recommend following up with your local delivery office directly, as they may be able to provide more specific information about where the parcel was delivered. The delivery photo clearly doesn't match your address, and we understand how confusing and upsetting that is.
