From first contact Geoff and Jo sort everything out.
Just come home from our third trip they have organised for us.
As normal everything went to plan and was well organised.
Just thinking where to go next so we can get them to organise our next trip without any worry for us.

Just back from a break in Tenerife that Geoff and Jo organised for us. As ever, everything went smoothly without a hitch. Transfers were efficient and on time. It may be a simple trip but they still pay attention to detail to make everything seamless and even bagged us a good price for next year for a little bit of winter sun. Ginge tours will always be our first port of call to plan a holiday,

A fantastic last minute trip to Morocco suggested and arranged by Geoff and Joe at Ginge Tours, which was so interesting, and so enjoyable. Their organisation and care was much appreciated. This was a second trip booked through Ginge and we'll be back soon for the next one.

Our two week tour of Sri Lanka was great & included things in the Travelsphere itinerary that we both wished to see & do. Thanks to Geoff & Jo for overseeing our booking and for sorting out the airport lounge pass at Heathrow prior to our departure flight. We loved it! Geoff also arranged our overnight stay at Heathrow at the Hilton Garden Inn upon our late return. The hotel room had been very recently refurbished & was very clean. Staff on arrival were very respectful too.

Jo and Geoff provided a fantastic service in organising our trip to Dubai and the Maldives. They invested a lot of time, kept us informed at every stage, and shared detailed advice that made the whole process easy and stress-free. Thanks for a great holiday!

My trip was organised to my exact specifications, it was just perfect. From the hotel, flights and transfers, everything was on the app. So easy to find.

Ginge Tours were outstanding in organising our recent trip to Peru. Their communication and follow-up were second to none, with genuinely personal service throughout. The itinerary was exactly as described — challenging at times (the altitude is no joke!) but incredibly rewarding. Machu Picchu and the many other sites we visited were unforgettable. We also really appreciated the cost savings through the Blue Light discount. This was a demanding but amazing trip that left us with memories we’ll treasure forever. I asked Geoff & Jo to build me a trip to NYC for a special birthday celebration. We had visited NYC before so I knew what I wanted. They delivered exactly that & more. The hotel they selected was fantastic. Staff lovely & a few extra touches ie a bottle of champagne in the room made us feel special. The hotel was in midtown which was exactly where we wanted to be. Nothing was too much trouble. Flights were also great. Couldn’t fault the trip at all! It certainly was a memorable trip one I will never forget! Thanks Geoff & Jo

Our family have used ginge tours on a few occasions over the last few years. Our most recent experience was as good as all our previous interactions.
We asked for a tour of Australia to incorporate the opening Ashes test match in Perth.
We were provided with various options whilst in Australia and advice on stop offs on the way and way back. One of which was the added bonus of three nights in Singapore, which was an excellent addition to the trip.
All communication pre and during trip was thorough and appropriate and the trip plans app used by the company is very useful for keeping up with your itinerary and storing tickets and documents.

We gave Geoff and Jo what we thought was a challenge to arrange a bucket list trip around Australia and New Zealand that combined sights/experiences interspersed with periods where we were staying with family and friends in both countries. Not something, we know from experience, that many travel companies want to do.
Geoff rose to the challenge and over a couple of weeks we nailed down an itinerary that covered everything we wanted. He was honest and open about some trips we had considered and was able to advise better, cheaper alternatives. He also recommended places to visit that we had not even heard of that turned out to be outstanding (Kangaroo Island is the best example).
Best of all, the attention to detail does not stop once you have departed. The travel app is excellent, the contact from Geoff if there is the slightest issue was speedy and effective, in fact we had one trip cancelled and replaced by another excursion on the Great Barrier Reef (due to weather), the refund of the original trip was in our bank account before we returned to shore that day!
And all of this service is provided at less cost than elsewhere.
We will be using Geoff and Jo again, in fact already had early discussions

After a chat about what we wanted, Geoff &Jo planned our first trip to Thailand, even down to the transfers and phone data leaving us to enjoy each destination without having to worry about anything! Our stand out from the trip was definitely Kho Samui, the hotel and location were perfect!! Thank you so much!

I asked Geoff to arrange me a tour of Australia and SE Asia, gave him a budget and a list of the countries I wanted to visit. In a very short time I had a draft itinerary for my sixteen week trip that had a day by day breakdown for the entire trip.
I started my trip in mid July and shortly after hostilities arose on the Thailand Cambodia border! Geoff contacted me straight away and within 48 hours my itinerary was updated with new flights booked.
The trip went without any further hitches all the way through to my return in early November.
I will most definitely be going back to Ginge Tours for my future holidays. First Class service

Ginge Tours arranged my first cruise. Geoff and Jo recommended Holland America the Nieuw Statendam. What a wonderful ship and a wonderful first cruise. Everything was taken care of by Ginge Tours including flights and transfers to the ship. Any questions I had were answered promptly. I would definitely recommend them and won’t hesitate to go back and book with them again.

We used Ginge Tours to arrange our family holiday to Africa (two adults and a 16 and 15 year old). We wanted to visit Cape Town, Victoria Falls and do a safari, but also needed to have gluten free catering, something our early research showed was going to be an extra complication. Geoff met with us over a video call to understand our requirements and sent through some options. We decided to go with a self-catering appartment in the Waterfront area in Cape Town, the Victoria Falls Safari Suites and then Nehimba Lodge in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.

It was a dream holiday.

The booking process was easy and Geoff was very patient with our constant need for gluten free reassurance. The Trip Plans app was excellent and made things really clear (and helped build excited expectations in advance).

All our accommodation was superb. The transfers were on time and seamless - also the first time we’ve been met at airports with people holding name cards! The hotels were clearly prepared for our GF needs and the service was first class.

I really can’t describe what an amazing holiday it was. We went up table mountain, visited Robben Island, saw penguins at Boulders Beach and visited the cape. We saw one of the seven wonders of the natural world, did a dinner cruise on the Zambezi whilst watching elephants swimming and enjoyed the Boma drum show. We had an amazing 4 night safari, with picnics in the national park, animals galore and each meal we dined just feet from wild elephants drinking at their waterhole. Best of all, we made unforgettable memories.

We threw our lot in with Ginge Tours and they did not disappoint.
We asked them to arrange a trip to New York - they did the flights and hotel and even threw in tickets to Summit @ One Vanderbilt - so let's write a review, because that's what people read and it's what you need to know...
Flights with Virgin / Delta - Arrive at the airport (LHR) book your own bags in (assistance available if you're a bit of a biff like me) and then ditch the bags and go through security to Departures - We thought this was a breeze - See JFK. We had pre-booked seats - Do this as soon as you can.
We had breakfast at Spuntino - excellent for Gluten Free options and staff were really friendly - food excellent.
The Flight to JFK was on time, and the in flight food was even half decent.... Drinks are free, but not pushed on you or limited either - If you want something it's there.
Immigration at JFK was a little slow with all the details they like to have, but it was the same speed for everyone and not oppressive - just make sure you don't need the toilet before you join the queue!!
Taxi to Hotel .... Be prepared for a long journey time wise (1 .5 Hours). It's 18 miles , but the volume of traffic on the roads is mind boggling, and no one is going anywhere fast - so admire the views, and accept the fact that indicators are ONLY to be used after the vehicle has barged its way in front of the other vehicles.....
We were at the RIU Plaza, Times Square. Fabulous hotel - Be warned that you have to pay the tourist tax on arrival, but again, the same for all tourists. Rooms were big and spacious, cleaned daily - ask for towels and clean bedding every day if you want to. Times Square is about 300yds away - Go and explore. The only criticism we could come up with at the hotel, was that they did not have a kettle in the room ! And that was it. Breakfast is excellent, staff friendly and attentive. Our Daughter is Gluten Free, and nothing was too much trouble.
Out and About - You can walk for miles, and miles and miles - But save your feet, get on the Subway, which we found to be clean, easy to use and trouble free. There seems to be a fixed fare for any journey of $2.90 (about £2.10) and you can tap your card / phone.
Staten Island Ferry is free - takes you out past the Statue of Liberty. About 20 minutes each way, and you can get off and straight back on - We got the 0700 ferry to see the sunrise over the City and were back to the ferry port before 0800 - Beware of people at the ferry port who want to sell you their tour whilst pretending to offer assistance.
Shop til you drop, look at the sights, visit Central Park. We had tickets to Summit One - If you want an interactive view of the City - go here, and skip everything else. IT IS AMAZING!!!! and we got free tickets through Ginge Tours !!!!
Best advice - have a vague list of what you want to see and what day, but be flexible.... Buy tickets online before you arrive at the attractions.
Suitably exhausted after 4 days, we found that the hotel will hold your bags securely from when you have to check out until when you need to leave - FREE OF CHARGE.
Journey to JFK was long again - Just traffic !!!
JFK check in was a breeze - checked in online in the morning, went to the airport, printed bag labels, dropped bags, went through security and into departures - it was so quick we were worried we had missed something !!!
Flight back was good, with more food and entertainment options on the seat screen are numerous and varied.

Would I go back to New York ?? Maybe, one day, but it's an experience you want to say you have done.
Would we use Ginge Tours again ??
