Nice wine however one of the bottles…
Nice wine however one of the bottles was forgotten to be corked and the plastic top was on however it still leaked. Never seen a wine bottle without a cork! Complained but haven’t yet had a response. Other bottles the cork was overly dry and couldn’t be pulled out with a wine opener it just disintegrated- so had to push the cork inside the bottle. I think it’s so massed produced that such things are being overlooked.
I bought these wines perhaps 10-15 years ago and the quality from the wine to packaging was incredible but sad to see things have since slipped to meet demands.
However as mentioned the wine itself is nice.

I ordered wine on the 09/09/22 and was informed that my order was with the delivery company on the 14/09/22. On the 25/09/22 I hadn't had my consignment so I rang the customer helpline to find out where my wine was only to be told that my package had been damaged and couldn't be delivered !
Why wasn't I informed either by you or the transporter ( GLS) that my delivery had been delayed when your website said it had been delivered ??

I never received what I bought and I am…
I never received what I bought and I am happy I paid through Paypal because I am currently disputing it. They canceled my order without notifying me. I had paid extra to receive it sooner, so when the date arrived and still no package I contacted them to cancel the order and if was impossible to do it online via their horribly slow chat, they don't have an email address, and via phone, they said I had already canceled the order a couple of days ago (I didn't nor did I receive any communication about this). Still haven't received anything nor a refund on their part so I'm disputing it through PayPal.

Let down by the delivery company
Once again, GLS have completely let me down. My case of wine from Giordano was out for delivery to me last Wednesday (15th), but at 13:00 apparently they decided they'd run out of time to deliver. Since then, my case of wine has resided at the "final parcel centre" for 8 days, with no further attempt to deliver it. I now doubt they will even try to schedule a further delivery, and will likely return the package to Giordano in Italy.
What a bunch of utter imbeciles! Today, Thursday 23rd December, a very pleasant lady from Giordano phoned me and said she will sort out this problem, AND refund me the cost of the case of wine. I shall update this review as and when (if) the package is delivered.
