Rubbish

Bought rattan garden furniture off ebay worst purchase ever every time we tried screwing the parts together screws kept going straight through as screw holes were too big so parts could not stay together after sales service disgusting kept telling me to take photos of fault impossible to show fault of screw hole on photo asked them to come out and see it but wouldn't ended up paying £20 for them to collect faulty goods

Perfect

There's loads of bad reviews for this and I hadn't read them till after I'd bought my ottoman bed through Wowcher so was really worried.
I have had absolutely no issues with the company or the bed. I was able to change the delivery date easily as first one didn't suit. The bed was delivered on the day and within the time period given. The bed had all required pieces.
Only negative thing was instructions were very basic but did a Google search and found instructions online. Took three of us about an hour and a half to put together. Extremely comfortable bed so I'm a happy customer

DOUBLE: Memory Foam Spring Mattress

11th October: I saw the advert on wowcher "£49 instead of £399.99 (from Furniture Italia) for a double memory foam spring mattress, £59 for a king mattress - save up to 88%".
£19.99 delivery so £68.99 in total.
I jumped at the chance to order once I saw the offer without checking the reviews.
Soon as I made the order via Paypal, payment was taken straight away. I received a receipt of Payment from Paypal - £68.99
I received "order confirmation" from wowcher, sent me my wowcher code to redeem etc.
After that, I decided to check the reviews online - my heart instantly sank, I thought my money is gone.
Being a single mom and expecting another, £68.99 is a lot to lose.
I decided to send an email to furniture italia regarding an order confirmation from them and I got no reply.

12th Oct I called regarding not receiving an order confirmation, I also mentioned that I ordered via wowcher to which James/Jay said "because I made the order via wowcher I had to wait a few days for an order confirmation from furniture italia" (BS)
Less then 30mins later however, I received a text from a number to choose a delivery date. Clicked the link and ended up on premier delivery date and I chose for the item to come on Saturday.
- Normally you get an order dispatch email/text from said company, or atleast a confirmation of the date choosen, but I received nada.
THURS...FRIDAY

By Saturday morning I woke up with all sorts of anxiety that my item won't come. So I decided to call furniture italia (beds.co.uk, gionni design ltd) or whatever other name they go by.
I explained to "Adam" the whole situation and he proceeded to say that I have to call wowcher about order confirmation and premier delivery for order dispatch confirmation and how they are just the "SUPPLIERS" 😑. REALLY???

Mattress came on chosen delivery date (Saturday 15th). Rolled and vaccummed, decent packaging though I was a bit skeptical. Anyways I unpacked it and it was pretty much your basic spring mattress. I would've ordered from ebay if I knew I would've got a basic spring mattress.
The mattress also stinks. It stank up my whole bedroom.
They send you what you pay for, not what they advertise.

Completely put off wowcher from this experience, we all love a good discount considering we're gonna get the product advertised.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM FURNITURE ITALIA, BEDS.CO.UK ETC.
TRADING STANDARDS HERE I COME.

Disaster

got delivered a mattress apparently worth £499 i got it on deal site from this company for £100. It's not actually worth more than £20. It smells of damp so badly that all 3 bedroom flat stinks. I cannot imaging me even sleeping on it. All phone lines they have on their website are dead lines. Of-Course they are. So there is no way to get even in touch with them. If anyone wants to take matters further with these guys (to court) please get in touch and i will join in. We should do something to get these type of cowboys punished

Are you having a laugh

On Wed 03.08 I have requested txt message to be sent to my mobile phone (as I was working and couldn’t be at home) when driver was around on delivery date Fri 05.08 so I can come out of work and accept it. I was assured that this is going to happen. Having a feeling it isn’t going to work I have asked my girlfriend to stay at home (she was at home for the whole day Fri 05.08).
On given date I have received phone call around 1600 (which given nature of my work I couldn’t answer and as I mentioned I was expecting text message + someone was at home). When I finally got a chance to call back I was told by your driver that he has been there and he knocked on the door but no-one answered (at this point he didn’t mention using buzzer). He said that he knocked several times but there was no response. I said to him that flat is on second floor and knocking on entry door when there is a buzzer next to the door is not going to work. Now after I’ve mentioned buzzer he said that he used it as well (which in my opinion given above facts and the fact that someone was at home – is far from truth). I said that I expect him coming back as he failed to do what he is paid for. He then started shouting that he knocked on the door but no one answered, when I tried to tell him that there is someone at home since 0800 in the morning he didn’t let me say anything. I have advised to him that this isn’t way you actually talk to customers and tried to say something else but he hang up in the middle of what I was saying. At this point your “second to none delivery service” statement was just a joke. I decided to call your customer service thinking that will make a difference – lady that answered around 1620 asked me If I want this delivery today – I obviously replied this is my intention. She then put me on hold and obviously contacted driver. She said that he won’t be coming back – I have explained that on other days I will have to take time off work (this time it will have to be me rather than my girlfriend). She ignored my comment and given me dates that I can choose from – I said it is not acceptable and I expect this driver to come back and deliver. Again I was I ignored and comment was made that the driver knocked on the door – I have explained again how he knocked on the door when buzzer was next to it but she again said that he has surely done it as well (again..no..he did not). I’ve asked where he is now as I actually schedule work for people that drive (although they repair things rather than deliver) and when she said it had another delivery and he is on his way back home (timescale now is about 40 min from when he said he was at my address). So you are looking at probably being 10-20 miles from my address (10-20 only because I’ve added time for him to unload goods on last delivery) and he couldn’t go back and deliver because HE IS GOING HOME? Really? Second to none? More like none in terms of your slogan. I wonder what you are going to do with this. Probably nothing as there isn’t even email for your company on your website. I don’t expect you doing anything for me as you really showed me your customer service already, not only your driver hangs up on customer but your customer service tells me there is nothing they can do (and I was under the impression you actually employ your drivers and you can tell them what to do). Rest assured that I will make sure that this feedback gets across. First of all to the place where I bought the items (it was a bed..so I face another 2 days of sleeping on the floor) from. Then to forums and groups that rate customer service of delivery service providers. Honestly – shameful and below any expectations.

I just rang your office (same number as I did on Friday) as was getting a little impatient not getting txt message – I have been advised that nothing has been arranged and nothing is going to be delivered today. When I have explained this situation – Sonohkhan (I believe that was his name) said that he can now deliver it on FRIDAY 12.08. Honestly you are having a laugh. Lady that I have spoken to for 15min on last Friday done nothing, moreover I have basically been ignored. Now – it is going to be another 5 days with me sleeping on the floor thanks to your “second to none delivery”. I have been also told that you have two different companies delivering…answering the same phone number – really? – and hence the confusion.
Apart from the above, I am speechless - you got a customer that complains and had something rescheduled for today and you still ignore it as you obviously have planned your deliveries for a week and it is just easier to stick this at first available slot rather than treat this is urgent matter. I’ll tell you this – my girlfriend took time off on Friday (when your driver didn’t do his job), I took half of the day today and will take whole day on Friday just to make sure you are not going to tell me the same fairy tale about your driver being there (actually he didn’t leave anything to say that you have been at my door – there was no card left and as far as I am concerned this is something you have to do). So I am looking at 2.5 days without a pay (3x more than bed itself) – I wonder how you going to compensate for this? But I can guess already – you won’t as you simply going to ignore this.
You can take my word for it that I will spread the word about your approach to complaining customers and how you operate.

Fantastic

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to this company who have been brilliant, we ordered a bed in April which was delivers on time and we found no problems with at all, unfortunately we found 2 days ago that a part of the bed was broke. I rang the company and explained this to which I got through to a lovely gentleman, he did state that it was out of warranty but advised me to e mail some pictures to them straight away, I did this and a few hours later I rang them to ask if they has received my email to which they stated that they could clearly see where the bed was broke and a new part would be with me in 2 days time, again the lady on the phone was lovely, I made no plans for the delivery day which is today as I had contemplated having to stay on all day as I couldn't be given a delivery time which to me was quite fair enough.....the part for my bed was delivered at 9am and the driver was so helpful, as I have a new born he asked where the best place for him to put it was and stopped and chatted for 2 minutes, again what a lovely gentleman. All I can say is that some people might of had a bad experience but ours was the complete opposite, fantastic!!!!!!

Say goodbye to your money

This company seems to go by so many names. I ordered a bedframe through beds.co.uk, but was invoiced by Giomani Designs - a name which only appears at the bottom of the Beds.co.uk website. Other names are Glassdining.table, and IJInteriors. I'm guessing that the name keeps changing so the company can hide who it is.

After putting in an online order (for which payment was taken immediately) I received an email the next day to say the bed frame was out of stock and wouldn't be available for almost two months; if I would like a different frame please email Jay. I did this and several days later had heard nothing back. I emailed again. Nothing. I called the phone number on the website. Nobody picked up. I then filled out their online form asking them to contact me. Still nothing.

A week later I receive another email almost identical to the first, so clearly nobody has read the messages I've sent. I do not expect to ever receive the bed frame that I paid for so I've contacted my credit card company for a refund (you can do this if your purchase was over £100). I do not believe this company actually has the stock they advertise. Fraudsters - avoid.

Pleasantly surprised and satisfied

We ordered a 6 piece Rattan furniture set. Paid £310 for the lot so this was cheap in comparison with other retailers pricing. After reading reviews I was worried about either not getting the goods at all, or just getting part of the goods or them being defective.

I had to chase for a delivery date and twice was given a delivery date by after sales which didn't happen. However the furniture arrived today and, delivery issues to one side, I cannot complain at all about the quality of the goods or the pricing. We have got a bargain.

No email order receipt sent, no paperwork (though there is an invoice online when you login).

Generally quite satisfied.

Who are these cowboys?

Google these people and you find they either don't exist or went bust and, in any event, their working address appears to be a two-up-two-down in Wednesbury of all places. I used the word 'cowboys' as per 'cowboys and indians' guardedly as they appear to be more the other variety... Why do I say this? Two reasons.. Tried calling to point out a minor inconsistency in their pricing structure where it appeared cheaper to buy table and chairs separately then in the bundle. Quiet frankly whoever I spoke to had a very limited understand of English but managed to tell me basically that the site was correct... So I ordered separately and saved £50.. Ok by me. Other reason? Read the reviews and see who gives a 5* review and who gives a 1$* review.
Two stars instead of one for a good reason: Despite the idiocy and uncertainty, £1000 of goods arrived on time and as expected. I just wish the whole experience hadn't been so scary... I'm not surprised customer service is a disaster... There isn't any.

AND not a hope in hell of a VAT number or a meaningful invoice. Surely that is dodgy? We shall have to wait and see

Avoid at all cost!!

Ordered some rattan 9 piece garden furniture 16th May and it has still to be delivered, you arrange a delivery date and they never show, without a courtesy call, then they claim not to be back in your area for weeks. Having asked for a refund they were not interested and said complain to Groupon, wish we had seen their poor review rating before purchase, avoid at all cost. Highly unprofessional company trading under many names Glass dining table/ furniture italia. Very unsatisfied customer, but i shall talk with the bank as i paid by card and claim company id fraudulent.

damaged bed, failed delivery and hung up phone on me

The user ID of this company on ebay is ijinteriors and also known as furniture Italia.

I purchased 2 beds through this company through ebay. i'm cutting a long story short as i do not wish to waste anymore of my time. I would like to point out that I am a proud member of ebay with 100% feedback who's been a member for 14 years.

they failed to deliver the beds 3 times. on the 4th time when they delivered, only one bed turned up. when i called up customer services, i was promised the bed would turn up 2 days later, it never did.

i then called up later and requested that my order gets cancelled but i was told i need to do it through ebay which I did.

in the mean time, the bed that was delivered, just collapsed.

i then left negative feedback for both of the purchases as 1 bed was still not delivered after a month and other one broke 3 days within using it.

ijinteriors then called me and asked me to remove the negative feedback or they will not collect the damaged bed for a refund and that they will state the bed that was not delivered, will be marked as delivered. this to me is a form of theft. Before i could say anything, the man hung up on me.

i have now contacted ebay regarding their atrocious, unprofessional behavior. i'ts absolutely disgusting.

Item not delivered. They "can only apologise"!

I ordered a bed frame from beds.co.uk, and my PayPal receipt was from Furniture Italia - the same company, as I discovered. I didn't receive a receipt from the actual company, stating exactly what I had ordered - it just said "bed frame", so phoned and waited a very long time to speak to someone to request a receipt stating exactly what I had ordered and they emailed it to me. I was given 7am to 7pm time slot on the day I requested. On the morning of delivery, I received an email from the delivery company stating the delivery would take place between 9am and 3pm. I made the journey from London to Oxford to receive the delivery. At 2.40, still waiting and expecting the bed frame any minute, I received a phone call from the company to say that it would not be delivered as they don't deliver beds on Mondays! And that she could "only apologise"! I canceled the order.

HOW ARE THESE GUYS STILL IN BUSINESS??????

Ordered a set of garden furniture from their glassdiningtable site (I've later found out that they trade under a number of other guises such as Furniture Italia and JJ interiors on Ebay) and got no confirmation or any correspondence with a delivery date etc.

I tried to email them for confirmation - no response
I tried to phone them - no response

I was forced to go to paypal to say that I'd not had my order delivered but I am yet to receive my refund.

Its absolutely outrageous that these criminals are allowed to get away with just taking people's money!

Pure thieves.

Ordered a double bed with memory foam mattresss via beds.co.uk, and paid with paypal. It arrived (without the agreed appointment) two weeks later, but was badly damaged, faulty, and the mattress was definitely not memory foam. After many phone calls and emails, they eventually agreed to collect the bed and refund me via paypal. It took three weeks for the bed to be collected, but they have refused to refund anything.

I raised a claim via Paypal, hoping that I would get my money back; but that didn't work either. Paypal will only refund if I can provide proof of the item being returned, or if the company confirms they have collected the goods. Surprise surprise the company is ignoring emails from Paypal, and even though I video'd them collecting the bed (I knew they'd try it on), Paypal won't accept video evidence!

This company - infact it isn't even a real company - and whoever is actually behind the scenes running it, needs to be shut down and investigated. I've taken the time to make a complaint to the local Trading Standards, and I've also started county court proceedings against them to get my money back.

disgusting company that should be banned

purchased a bed from this company which was supposed to arrive in 4 days but it infact took 6 weeks to get it. they failed to show up for delivery on 3 separate occasions without any notice, not even a call to let me know they were not coming. Finally someone answered the phone and It was only when i said i wanted to cancel my purchase and get a full refund that i finally got my item. and then I wish i hadnt - it was damaged and the mattress was like a brick and NOT the memory foam that was advertised and the bolts didnt fit correctly making it very wobbly and unsafe.
no one answered the phones on the after care service, but surprisingly they did when i rang sales - then when i voiced my complaint they hung up on me - this happened several times over a period of days. I got through eventually and was asked to email photos of the damage, which i did but then all emails were ignored. Luckily i paid via paypal and have now put in a complaint so hopefully will be able to get a refund via them but this is still time consuming and i will prob have to wait in for them to collect it which will probably be another lot of no shows. I am seriously considering contacting trading standards also.
This company trades under several different names and each one seems to give the same poor customer service and sells dodgy items.
quite frankly these companies need to be shut down and if you are thinking of buying anything with them then my advice is DONT!!!

Do Not Purchase from These People they are Cowboys

I ordered a coffee table on 4th January. After waiting 4 weeks it turned up and was faulty with marks and scratches all over the base. It was collected shortly after. It is nearly 3 months since the initial purchase and 6 weeks since it was collected and I have still not had a refund. They have promised this on 4 occasions now. I have probably paid more in time and money wasted trying to get through to them by phone than the items was worth! I wish I had read reviews about this company before buying from them. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs and buy from a reputable furniture retailer.

worst company ever AVOID

i bought a garden set from this company via ebay
they gave me less that 24hrs notice for delivery on easter sunday between 7am and 12 - thought it a bit odd delivering during the holidays but was assured it would be here and i even got a text msg to confirm it would be, so i gave up spending easter with my family to wait in for the item to arrive
well 2pm arrived and still no delivery. i then phoned them to be told that it they had no idea where my item was, and as it was 3rd on the list for delivey it should have been with me by 9am but as i could only speak to someone in sales and not delivery he could'nt sort it for me and told me someone from delivery dept would have to ring me back when they were available.vSo easter was then spoilt for me and my family. Not even a courtesty call to tell me that it wouldnt be arriving after all - dreadful service.
I then had to ring back on the monday only to be told that they didn't actually have any of the items that they had sold me in stock anyway, despite marking it as despatched on ebay, and that i would have to wait a further 4 weeks for them to get some more in and deliver to me.
This wasn't acceptable to me so i asked to cancel my order and told them i wanted my money to be returned via paypal, as this was how i had originally paid, but i was then told that there was no one that could authorise that for a further 5 days so i am still waiting for my money back and will probably have to open a paypal dispute in order to get it.
The most awful customer service ever, with a different story every time i rang (no one ever rang me back as promised) and it took forever for someone to even answer the phone. Mani who had originally told me my delivery date refused to speak to me on the phone even tho he was sitting next to the person I was speaking with and claimed he was "to busy to discuss it with me"
all i can say is dont bother, worst company i have ever had the misfortune to deal with, zero customer service, still no refund and rude arrogant staff on the phone . They also trade under many other names one being ijinteriors on ebay.

ij interiors - Do not buy off them!

Do not buy anything from ij interiors on eBay or any other site. The standard of items sold is terrible and when you have a faulty part or want to return a faulty item you either can not contact them or if you are fortunate enough to do so they lie to you and promise to resolve matters and then do nothing. Regardless of a good price stay far away from this bunch of jokers!
