SCAMMERS DO NOT USE!
Faulty bed bought from eBay,wrong mattress sent then the ottoman bed broke completely making it unusable.Even though bed came with a warrenty company did nothing.This company do not answer phonecalls,letters were returned by Royal Mail as they have fake address and they do not respond to emails- and the director and address as well as name of the company changes weekly (also go by the name furniture Italia,giomani designs)
Fantastic Quality
I was unsure ordering from Furniture italia because of their recent reviews although after calling and speaking to an advisor (joe) i was assured a delivery within 48 hours for my table and chairs. I went ahead with the order with the cash on delivery option. One day before i received a call confirming dispatch with a time slot in addition the driver called me prior to arrival. Once i received the goods which where only delivered to the hallway, little disappointed but found them to be very well packed. The quality is fantastic for the amount paid, furniture Village and Harverys standard. The chairs as well as the table where both easy to assemble taking little over an hour. I had a great experience purchasing from FI and will surely be using them again in the near future.
Bad after sales , delivery company rubbish
Bought a mattress from beds.co.uk delivery company damaged the first one , never managed to deliver the second time hopefully it's will turn up one day 2 weeks late never received a phone call or email even after failed delivery had to ring them 20 minutes waiting each time the delivery company and sales staff couldn't care less hopefully they will go out of business the customer is now never right !!!!!! Do not use beds.co.uk or any of the other countless sister companies
The Worst After Sales Imaginable
Do not expect any help from this company if you have any after sales problems. They are very keen to take your money, but that's as far as it goes. I have purchased two glass dining tables and sets of chairs plus additional chairs in the past, but when it came to asking for help in replacing two broken table feet, they just didn't want to know. They wouldn't even give me the contact details of the manufacturer to see if they would help. When I suggested that this was not a good example of customer relations they just put the phone down on me! Avoid like the plague!!

Wish I had read these comments. They give online businesses a bad name. They trade by various names. Furniture italia . Giovani designs. Beds.co.uk. I ordered a mattress for my young son for next day delivery. They took the money twice but a week later and no mattress. Extremely rude staff! Hung up on me. I have been in tears over this and still no refund. Hope they rot in hell! How are they even allowed to continue to trade?

Delivered broken bed, I kept the mattress and aske to refund the bed, they took the bed away and never refunded the 100 pounds they own me!

I bought a bed and mattress from this company. To be fair delivery was really quick and there where no issues on that part.
They sell Memory foam mattresses but what you receive is a slab of reflex foam without the memory foam ontop
Considering they advertise one product and send a fake really is unacceptable and EBay don't seem to care tbh
I would say if you are going to order a bed go for it as they are very good for the price but don't get the memory foam mattress as you will essentially receive a half finished mattress.
I'm really not exaggerating but the mattress is not fit to sleep on and the best they offered was a £20 refund and the topper which I will have to buy is Atleast £45

i purchased an extending glass table and 6 chairs from this company and they arranged the delivery on a day that i requested due to work commitments which was very convenient and once we assembled the goods i could not believe the quality of the item considering the price we paid for it and i looks fabulous in our new kitchen. Thanks to everyone at furniture Italia and i will definitely recommend you to my friends and family.

I bought a bed, and only half the bed was delivered, 2 weeks later!!! i called them and spoke and they refused to help me, telling me to open a case, and with arrogance telling me that they will win the case and remove any negative feedback i leave, as THEY WORK WITH EBAY!!! I opened a case, and left a negative feedback and ye behold it was removed and they won the case on eBay!! The company is a FRAUD!!!! WOULD BE SURPRISED IF THEY WAS PAYING EBAY!! DON'T BUY FROM THEM, REPORT THEM!!!

Do not buy from this company! They have shockingly bad customer service with delays, excuses and even downright lies. I purchased a glass table and realised only after I paid via PayPal that it was too big. I immediately contacted the company who said it was no problem to change this for a smaller one and they would refund the difference within 48 hours. They then told me that the smaller table was not in stock and there would be a 10 - 14 day wait. I was prepared to accept this.
This is when the problems started. After numerous phone calls and emails it took over a month for them to refund the difference. Also the delivery date was extended. I had to do all the chasing for this through telephone and email, even right up to the day before delivery was due, to confirm the date it would be delivered. I then got a text the afternoon before stating it had been despatched for delivery the following day between 8am and 2pm. I had to take a day off work at the last minute.
I waited all day for this delivery but it did not appear. I phoned at 2pm to be told firstly that the driver had been at my property at 9am. I told him he had not. I was put on hold till he checked out what had happened. I was then told he couldn't contact the driver and a new delivery would have to be made direct from the depot with one of their drivers to ensure this did not go missing. I told him I could not take another day off work. I was put on hold again till he checked out a dilivery date and was then cut off after 13 minutes. I phoned back and after some time got through to the same person who said he pressed the wrong button. I asked what happened to the delivery. He said it may have been damaged, that this was quite common due to the tables being glass. He then told me there was not another in stock and he would have to refund my PayPal account by 5pm.
I told him I had no grounds to believe him but if it was not refunded by 5pm I would be contacting consumer direct and in any case be giving the company a very bad review. They now have 1hour to process my refund.
DON'T TOUCH THUS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE.

After reading a few bad reviews i was unsure about placing my order. however once i had seen the range and the prices they had to offer i had to give them a call.
I spoke to a lovely lady called Toni who was more than willing to help.
Once we placed the order items were delivered within two days which i thought was fantastic considering our location.
The chairs were already assembled and the table literally took 10 mins
Table and chairs look absolutely stunning. I have a picture of them on my tumblr. I have recommended to all my family and friends and will be buying my new bed from you guys.

Diabolical company
Saw a lovely bed from beds.co.uk cheap in the sale as well so I decided to order it. I was taken to another site and they called themselves Furniture Italia. All their stuff looked really classy and modern.
Clicked on pay now from the shopping trolley and wanted to pay via PayPal. I tried several times and I couldn't pay for it (was thinking this is a sign I shouldn't be buying it! - I should have stopped then but it was such a good deal). I phoned them on their sales line, ring, ring, ring, for ages. Just about to give up and they answer. Took my payment from debit card and said they would email me with a choice of dates to deliver the bed and mattress.
Next day still no email so I phoned them up and asked for the email they said I would receive. He said by the evening I would get an email. That evening came and went and still no email. So I phone them up again.. He said I can have delivery that Saturday but there is normally a charge for a Saturday delivery but as I've been messed around he would waiver the charge. That Friday I phone up and confirm that the delivery is still going ahead for the next day, Saturday, someone else said that there isn't a delivery for tomorrow as there is no bed?!?! When I asked the other guy about the bed he said it was in quality control and that it should pass by midnight on the day I ordered it?! I KNEW I should have listened to my instincts... Here we go I thought. I said that I want a refund back onto my card immediately, I don't want to wait for more problems, so he said that he will get that refunded by 5pm that Friday. 6pm came and I phoned them up on the after sales line.... No answer after it ringing and ringing. So I decide to phone the sales line.. Quicker to answer there funnily enough. I ask if the refund had gone through and he said as it was put in late it won't go through until Monday now!! So, Monday I phone them up and ask if the refund has gone through yet, he said it will go through by 5pm today... Omg. I'm getting a tad annoyed and frustrated with the constant lies.
I leave it until the tuesday afternoon to phone them. I ask to speak to someone who can deal with my refund as they won't confirm that it has been done. I am getting rather frustrated with the company and their attitude, they then start putting the phone down on me!
Not a very happy customer now, I phone them up and demand to speak to someone in after sales who will deal with my refund without putting me on a constant hold and then cutting me off! This guy seemed ok and sent me an email when he had put the refund through, which he did. Overal this whole bizarre experience took over a week of my life to get my money back. They should be shut down, their customer service is terrible and they should not be allowed take your money, then to lie about furniture being in stock when in fact it never was. Lies upon lies. Close them down. Stay away, Do not buy from this company!!!
My furniture never arrived!
So I spotted an excellent looking coffee table and ordered it. They promised to deliver it within 4 days of ordering. Gave me a tentative delivery date and told me that someone will call me 24 hours before delivery to confirm delivery slot. When 4 days passed and nobody had called, I decided to call them up and was told that the table is dispatched to the courier company. I was given a separate contact number for the courier company, one which was answered only 1 in 10 times you would try calling them. So the courier company kept telling me that they'll schedule the table for a tentative delivery date that they promised and give me a call 24 hours in advance to confirm the delivery slot. Neither did they call a day before the delivery, nor did the delivery arrive. This thing happened thrice without any luck - they promised a date, nobody called, nobody arrived. Once they even told me that the order was out to delivery, but the van met an accident and the furniture was damaged! They also tried to tell me that they were completely separate entity from the furniture company, so both Furnitue Italia and the courier company kept blaming each other for the delay.
I finally cancelled my order after 2 weeks of waiting, only to be told then, that there was no table. They didn't have it in stock in the first place, in fact the brand of tables had a quality issue and were withdrawn by the distributor from the entire market. Jeez, you would have hoped that someone would have opened the conversation with that information instead of, give us your money, we'll deliver in 4 days!
Great furniture, disastrous delivery and customer service
I bought dining tables and chairs from these guys four times - for three of my rental properties and for my home.
The furniture is great. Unforuntately they seem to do their own deliveries and the guys who do the deliveries are a disaster. The customer service department is the same:
- They never answer the phone.
- Stuff is not in stock but you are not told - you only find out when the furniture takes too long to arrive and you call them.
- Deliveries are missed and when that happens, they give you another date several days later.
- In one occassion I had to change my order eliminating items - because they did not have some of the items I wanted in stock and I couldn't wait. They didn't refund the difference till I wrote to them asking for it - I think they were expecting I would forget.
The same furniture can be bought from other online stores, so if you like what they have, buy it somewhere else and save yourself the headache.
Unacceptable quality of product and customer care
I purchased an extendable glass table with 8 chairs, a coffee table and a Bar table with 2 stools for £1,235.00 in September 2012.
Very quickly all the Tables got scratches showing the poor quality of the glass in use.
On Friday 14th of February leaning slightly back the backrest collapsed / the fixing gave way showing the poor manufacture of the chairs. I emailed Furniture Italia queering the quality and warranty of the product, after waiting for a response for several days I called them and was told that the warranty is only 1 year. Considering the chair is not in daily use as I travel a lot, if it would have been in permanent use it would collapsed within the warranty of 12 months.
Anyway; Wednesday 19th of February I ordered 2 additional sets of 2 chairs to have some spares as so obviously the product quality is only made to outlast the warranty phase and I don’t want to have to replace the set in less than 18 months of purchase. After I ordered the chairs I sent an email to Furniture Italia if they sell a replacement backrest to which I also so far didn't get an answer.
Shortly after I ordered now ordered Id was told that the products dimensions have changed making me holding the order until I know more about how much they changed.
The product is far too expensive for its quality and life cycle and the support is totally unsatisfying.
I did write a review on their website but unsurprisingly only add good reviews onto their website or reviews that put them in a positive light.
Now on the 5th of March I am still awaiting an update on how much they changed, seem they don’t have this information at hand and need to unpack one to take the measurements
Once I look to replace any items I definitely will NOT use any products of this manufacturer or the company representing them again.
