I worked with Steve and Bruce (COO) at…

I worked with Steve and Bruce (COO) at Global Luxury Group on a HubSpot CRM setup project. Throughout the engagement, I completed the work as instructed by Bruce and maintained professional communication.

While both Steve and Bruce were courteous and professional to interact with, my experience regarding payment was disappointing. Despite multiple follow-up emails and assurances that payment would be sent, I never received the agreed compensation for the work completed.

I appreciate the professional interactions, but unfortunately the lack of payment has left me with a negative overall experience. I hope this matter can still be resolved.

Let’s be clear this situation makes no sense. Why would you hire people if you already knew your bank or payment system was “blocked” or unreliable? That’s not an excuse, that’s negligence.

To future clients: this is a serious warning. We completed the work and were not paid. It’s as simple as that. Don’t be misled by flowery statements or empty assurances we have proof of everything.

It’s also highly questionable that your COO, Bruce Kowkabany, is no longer with the company and is now in contact with us. That alone should raise red flags about what’s really going on behind the scenes.

If you’re considering working with Steve Cooper, think twice. When issues arise, you’ll likely get delays, excuses, and denial instead of accountability. The fact that payment problems were only addressed after the damage was done speaks volumes.

If anyone wants the truth, feel free to reach out. We’re ready to back up every claim with evidence.

We take feedback seriously, but we must address the inaccuracies and misleading defamatory nature of this statement.

First and foremost, we have no record of any engagement, contract, any communication or completed work associated with 'JR' the individual or entity making these claims. Because of this and for reasons described in our previous response, the assertion that services were performed and not paid is entirely false. We maintain detailed records of all projects, agreements, and payments, there is no evidence to support what is being alleged here.

Additionally, statements suggesting to draw conclusions about team members are speculative and inaccurate. Personnel changes are a normal part of any business and have no bearing on the integrity of our operations or our commitment to our clients.

We are fully committed to transparency, accountability, and honoring all legitimate agreements. We encourage this or any party to contact us directly through official channels rather than making false and defamatory claims so it can be properly reviewed and resolved. To that end, there are no reports from any other administrators who previously worked for our company alleging unpaid compensation whatsoever.

To our current and prospective clients, to our 300 top producing realtors and incredible group of elite lenders across the country, we stand by our relationships we’ve built through consistent delivery and professionalism.

Overdue Salary Payment for Lead Generation Services

I worked as a Lead Generator for Steve together with Rodalyn Dimapilis as my admin.

The team had been working diligently on the project for over a month, with the initial agreement being payment for two weeks of work. Despite completing the project and continuing work for an additional week, we have yet to receive our compensation.

Throughout our communication, Steve have provided various reasons for the delay, including issues with his Western Union and Remitly accounts. However, after verifying with both services, we were informed that such issues typically take up to 72 hours to resolve. It's been over a month since we first discussed the payment, and we are still awaiting our salaries.

Rodalyn and the team have offered alternative payment options to facilitate the transaction, but the delay persists.

Steve then resorted to paying us in installments -- $400 per week. Note that there's 4 of us in a team. We tried to negotiate as we should given that we already waitied long enough for this salary. Steve mentioned that this was the only option available as he doesn't want to risk his financial accounts being at risk of getting blocked.

We waited for the $400 to be sent over the weekend -- we haven't received it.

The team tried to check reviews online about Steve and his company and found out that there are several reviews about him on the internet. One being on the same situation where Steve offered to pay in installment but was only able to pay until the second payment.

Rodalyn then tried to communicate with Steve again asking if is planning to pay us since he hasn't send the $400 yet.
The team was removed from Slack. Communication between Rodalyn and Steve continued on viber which later on, Steve said that the company doesn't have enough funds to pay for the team at this time and we will have to wait until the company can pay us in installments -- $400 a week with threats that if the team continues to "acuse him of being a liar" he won't be communicating with the team anymore.

Are we the liar? We aren't, Steve. You've been reasoning with Rodalyn and the team with why you can't pay yet later on you admit that the company cannit afford to pay us, tough times as you've said.

It's disappointing that you're turning this against Rodalyn whe she and the team has been so patience with you all this time trying to understand why you aren't paying us yet. We have all the screenshots of the conversations.

We aren't extorting money, we are simply asking for what we worked for.

Please beware of Steve Cooper and his company.

Once again, we take feedback seriously and have reviewed this matter. Our records show this involved Rodalyn Dimapilis and associates living in the Philippines requesting payment to a third party, which our bank flagged as suspicious. They performed admin work only and did not handle lead generation or calls. After being informed that the bank would not send a third-party wire, Ms. Dimapilis responded by deleting the admin work, including phone number research for our calling team.

We do not withhold payments when obligations are met. If there’s confusion, it may be due to miscommunication or incomplete steps. We’ve contacted Ms. Dimapilis, the reviewer and are working toward a fair resolution. Please reach out to us directly with any questions.

Solid communication

Working with Steve over the past few years has been a great overall experience. This industry is not an always easy one and many times there are some frustration points, but when you work with someone that communicates and owns the issues, you work through it and make it better. Thats what you get when you work with Global Luxury Group.

Update - I own a mortgage company and entered a…

- I own a mortgage company and entered a marketing agreement on 7/24/24 with Steve Cooper and Global Luxury Group with a money back guarantee. The agreement gave them until 6/30/25 to make introductions. To date there has been zero activity , not a single introduction from Steve Cooper and Global Luxury Group to the terms of our agreement. When I approached them on 1/21/25 advising that I would like to exercise my money back guarantee and he promised me they would honor my request and communication by 1/31/25 regarding their timeframe for refunding me. My contract allows them until 6/30/2025 to provide introductions but Steve agreed on the phone and in email 1/31/25 and several emails later to refund the monies. On 2/17/25 I had heard nothing, on 2/19/25 they promised an update by 2/21/25 and now 2/27/25 there has still been no update. On March 10th Steve agreed that the company would honor the agreement and was upset about my review, requesting I remove it and promised another email that evening.. Later that day he emailed requesting more time and pointed out this line in the agreement: our agreement is a best efforts agreement which clearly states from a contractual standpoint that the company is not obligated or guaranteeing any business, assuring me the company is not walking away from their obligations under the agreement and requesting a chance to succeed. This is a complete departure from many emails and my 1/21/25 phone call promising me arrange the refund. On 3/17/25 I received another email pressing me to remove this review and asking to allow them until 6/30/25 to full fill this contract. I am updating this review accordingly so that all information remain accurate. In the event I receive legitimate opportunities, I will be happy to retract my review

Waiting on refund from Global Luxury Group

Our mortgage company paid $15,000 to Stephen Cooper and Global Luxury Group in Oct of 2022 to procure loan leads and Realtor referrals for us. The contract included a 100% refund if no commission opportunities arose. To date, we have received no loan opportunities or Realtor referrals that have resulted in a commission. I know of two other mortgage brokers who also paid them $15,000.00 and they have not received any loan opportunities from Stephen Cooper and Global Luxury Group. We have not received the refund per our agreement.

Stephen Cooper, owner of Global Luxury Group, issued our company a check for $15,000 in June of 2023 that was "non-sufficient". He then entered into an agreement to repay the $15,000 in monthly installments of $500 in Nov of 2023, which he defaulted on after two payments.

For clarity, Mr. Maher paid a retainer to Global Luxury Group to be introduced to realtors and access loan opportunities when available. While introductions were made, it is the responsibility of lenders to cultivate business over time. GLG repeatedly offered additional introductions outside contractual obligations and provided a refund check which subsequently was reversed on behalfof the company after services were provided to Mr. Maher according to the agreement.

We do not operate on the basis of taking funds without delivering agreed services. Every engagement we enter includes defined scope, timelines, and expectations.
In rare cases where a client feels expectations were not met, it is usually due to differences in interpretation of deliverables rather than an absence of service.
We are committed to transparency and are always available to review any agreement line-by-line to ensure clarity.

Unfortunately, due to repeated unbecoming behavior by Mr. Maher, we were forced to terminate the relationship. GLG values its long-term partnerships with top-producing realtors, high-net-worth clients, and professional lender affiliates, and we remain committed to fostering trusted, productive connections for all parties involved.
