I ordered an item from AUTODOC. The same issue has occurred again, just as it did with my previous two orders, including this one. Although I was at home throughout the delivery window, the parcel was delivered to a nearby pickup shop instead of being delivered to my home.
If I am paying 79 DKK for the home delivery of a 1 kg parcel, I expect it to be delivered to my door, not redirected to a pickup point without any delivery attempt.

No call before delivery attempt
Nobody called me before the delivery attempt, so I had no chance to receive the parcel. Instead, I had to travel 30 minutes by metro to pick up a heavy package and then pay for an Uber to bring it home. This was a heavy office chair, and this completely defeated the purpose of paying for home delivery. Overall, it was a very disappointing delivery experience.

We attempted to deliver to your address on July 22 at 10:54 a.m. We were unable to reach anyone, so the package has been redirected to a PakkeShop, where you can pick it up today.

Clearly wrote that the package should…
Clearly wrote that the package should be left out the back of the house under the covered terrace to shelter it from the rain and it was left on the lawn in the rain. They just had to walk another 10 meters more, but failed.

It’s not the first time I paid for the…
It’s not the first time I paid for the home delivery and it was sent to pakkeshop instead. Every time the reason for that was that no one was home but there is always someone home and yet no one ever rang the bell.
