Ordered an item on Wednesday afternoon to online shop, sent in the end of day, received on Thursday noon.
It was supposed to deliver at home address , It showed up “can’t be delivered” , and after few hours it delivered to little bit far (25 mints by walk)from home address . It’s not fair.

Perfect delivery at a pakkeshop of my choice, as the delivery of choice, when paying for the item. Every shipper should have this option, always.

False Delivery Attempt!
GLS regularly claims that "the consignee was absent" when no delivery attempt was actually made. This has happened to me multiple times. On this occasion, no one came to my address and no one rang the doorbell, yet the tracking was updated to say I wasn't home.
As a result, I now have to waste my time collecting the parcel from a pickup shop instead of receiving the home delivery I paid for. If drivers are unable to complete their routes, they should be honest about it instead of falsely reporting failed delivery attempts.
Very disappointing service.

I’ve had this happen multiple times…
I’ve had this happen multiple times now: GLS marks a package as a failed delivery attempt, claiming no one was home — but someone was home every single time. No knock, no doorbell, no call, no notification left. It seems like the driver simply doesn’t attempt delivery and logs it as a missed attempt regardless.
This isn’t a one-off mistake — it’s a repeated pattern, which makes it hard to believe it’s accidental. It costs customers time, forces unnecessary pickup trips, and undermines trust in the service. I’d expect a courier company to actually attempt delivery before marking it as failed.
