Dear Mr Kemp, thank you for your review. I've looked into this and can see that we have answered your query back in a reply. Incase you missed it, we will calculate your bills based on the readings that either you or our meter readers provide.
So in your case since the new meter starts from 00000 if the next reading in a few weeks time is 00005 then we would charge you for the 5 units you have used (for gas we usually convert the m3/ft3 to kwh). I am quite satisfied with the service I receive from Gnergy, Nothing to complain about. Statements are emailed monthly and can easily be viewed. Plenty of notice given when annual contract due to expire, maybe I could get cheaper elsewhere - I don't have the time to do comparisons - but they offer a £50 credit to my account for renewing so that in itself is a saving. Not had much cause to ring them but polite and helpful when I have.
