Very good service
Since posting a review awarding two stars and 'Average', GNERGY have responded to my issues admirably, and I am satisfied with their answers. It seems, from my own research, that the issue of smart meters is not 100% under the control of the energy providers. Rather, we are a nation whose cog wheels turn ultra slowly. I therefore award GNERGY a revised four stars. I should however point out, that I almost never award top marks for any service, and GNERGY, like every other company, uses current communication technology, which can never give the same level of personal service seen between seller and customer face to face. I can't see how this can be improved upon, but wish it could. I will remain with GNERGY for the time being, and hope that as a loyal customer, I am not penalized as may companies do.

Dear Mr Leprince, thank you for leaving us a review. I've looked at your account and have switched your preference from email to paper billing. You will receive paper statement via the post from now on.
In regards to the automated service, we only have 2 options. 1 is to submit a reading and 2 to be directed to us. We felt the need to include the option for our customers a few years back so that you could submit your meter readings in a matter of seconds without having to speak to anyone. Having said that we also make sure to pick the phone up in a matter of seconds if not at least within a minute or two.
Lastly please accept our sincerest apology regarding the delay with getting you a smart meter installed. We are at present facing with a high volume of meter installation requests and
have a long waiting list. Rest assured as you are on our priority list and will be the first ones to get a smart meter installed. Please let us know if you are available mid March so we can discuss the dates and move things forward. We'd like to follow this up via email, so please send us a reply at info@gnergyuk.com.

I have had no issues with GNERGY for the few years I’ve been with them, I get monthly statements with a full brake down of my usage, and even if I forget to send my readings they don’t make a fuss they just give a gentle reminder, and I think they are good value.

Superb customer service
Have been with Gn Energy for a few years now and just renewed for a further year. OK I can find 'slightly' cheaper but the level of customer service is superb. They have always acted on my instructions, been polite and have got back to me when asked. This is why I don't mind paying that minute bit more.
