Taking advantage of a 92 year old

An agent by the name of Madeline convinced my father or 92 years old to enroll in an Advantage Plan after he has been on straight Medicare and a supplement from the beginning. I know this industry quite well and told him he was making a big mistake. He and I both called Madeline and left messages. NO call backs. I then spoke to another Go Health rep and they were embarrassed that she would make such a recommendation. They told me they would disenroll him and his wife which I found out afterwards they could not do and we had to go to the Advantage Plan and disenroll. Now 3 weeks later and about 4-5 hours on calls with the Plan, Medicare and the Part D Company, his insurance for 1/1/25 is up in the air. This is how you take care of your customers?

I'm glad i called!

Very knowledgeable staff member. No pressure , Very patient. Extremely happy with my new health plan. Everyone should call during " open season ".the savings are remarkable 👌 i really needed financial help and GoHealth provided that. It wasn't as hard as I thought to sign up ! It was such a relief to not have to research everything myself. The agent did everything for me !

A weight has been lifted from my shoulders

The experience was made great by the agent that assisted me, Robyn Wright. She was able to look at what I was already paying for, compare it to other options that would cover the same benefits but at a lesser amount. When I first sought out Medicare coverage, I didn’t really understand what I was paying for. Robyn opened my eyes by thoroughly explaining things. She was able to save us over $500 a month! Most of that was due to my husband’s coverage going up and up and up year after year.
Innumerable were the calls I would receive from various providers. It was annoying. Then out of the blue I decided to respond to one of them, thinking I can always say, “No.”
Robyn was the person I was connected with after a brief Q&A.
I realize this is her job, however, I truly felt like she genuinely was doing all she could to give me the best options available.
It’s always been said that you get what you pay for. I never felt like that was the case. Today, I feel as though I’m on a level playing field. I’m hoping that I can come back next year and let you know if it all turned out as well as it appears it is going to.
