It's very good. The only issue i have is if you pay manually before the allowance is due to your child, you are hit with allowance reminders through email/texts it wasn't paid directly through them.

Very handy

Very handy, but constantly asks me to set up my son's pocket money, when I don't use it for that and no way to turn it off. Sometimes doesn't 'load' and I have to go back out and retry. The card mostly doesn't work on busses either. But these are minor and the overall experience is fast and slick and very convenient. So I would recommend.

As a quick tip to stop those pocket money setup prompts, you can simply head to the 'Allowance' section in your app and set the weekly amount to £0. This lets the app know your preference and will keep those reminders away!

Regarding bus travel, some local transport networks process payments offline, which can occasionally cause the card to be declined or temporarily blocked by the transport provider. In the meantime, you may want to check these common settings in your app to ensure everything is configured correctly:

​●When you top up, the money typically sits in the Parent Balance first. Please check that the funds have been moved from your balance onto your son’s card, as they aren't available to spend or withdraw until moved.
​●Check the "Settings" section for your son's card. Ensure that ATM withdrawals are toggled on and that the spending limits haven't been exceeded.
​●If the card is relatively new, he may need to use it once at a chip-and-pin machine in a shop to fully "reset" the chip before an ATM will accept it.
​●You can double-check the PIN instantly within your parent account to ensure the correct code is being used at the machine.

XP and why it is useless.

What I have noticed is that there is not very many lessons to do and nothing to do with the xp you earn. You can earn xp by doing the money missions apart from as far as I can remember there aren't very many. One of the main problems are that you are unable to do anything with your xp, maybe you can add some kind of reward system for the Xp I don't know. But it would make the app better.

If you have lost your GoHenry card it is important to ask your parent to replace this through their app as only your parent can report the card as stolen. It is important that we do this because this is the only way to block the old card for security. This is such a great app for teaching your children money skills. The best thing luckily you can not go into det, because if i am bieng honest if det was allowed most childrens' accounts would be in the negative. 😂

Excellent bank card for young person

This card is really useful, very easy to use for both me and my son and it’s great the way you can keep track of spending. The fact you can easily change spending settings is great, handy for trips away when likely to be spending more, plus easy to top up. The fact it is already set up for using abroad is great too. Really impressed with it! Would recommend as a debit card for young person. Gives them independence but with parents being able to easily keep an eye on things.
