Delighted with our table / bench combo and the attention that Goldfinch give their customers. We liked the furniture in the new Kernel Brewery taproom and found out that it was custom made by Goldfinch. We contacted them to discuss making a table and benck for our kitchen. The whole process went really well - lots of choice of wood and finishes plus discussions and illustrations until we were happy with the design. Fantastic after-care as well!

Contacted Goldfinch about a little project of fitting oak panels to 3no 1970s classic amplifiers. They were quite happy to help out although this was outside their normal scope of work. Whole process was painless, very professional approach...end product was brilliant! Really pleased with effort put in by Mike and Charlie.

This is the second batch of table tops we have ordered for our restaurant. The quality of workmanship is just as beautiful as the time before. Having gone for oak this time, the wood is an amazing grain. Our first batch of table tops are still going strong. Communication with the team was great and the turn around was quick. From start to finish, working with Goldfinch was outstanding. They were easy to deal with from design to completion and installation of the work and I couldn't be happier with the final product. Can't recommend enough.

I would highly recommend this company. They carefully listened to my requirements, making sensible suggestions / checking choices as appropriate. The outcome delivered is a beautiful piece of furniture (a hall drawer unit) which is exactly what I was looking for and which I absolutely love! Communication was also great; they let me know exactly what to expect when, and delivered to price, quality and time.

Samples of the finishes proposed were provided and it was nice to have the opportunity to visit the workshop on Spa Road.

The installation was swift and managed well with the end product exactly what we had envisaged when we started working with the team.

Having exhausted furniture shops around the country, and the internet, I decided to get a custom made dining table. I could not find a dining table to suit my needs with regards to style and size. Most round dining tables on the internet were either really small (bistro size), awkward to put your feet under, or were way too big (not ideal for most London flats). I therefore contacted Goldfinch and I’m so glad that I did. I wanted a herringbone top with no cracks or ridges for crumbs to fall into. When I saw the finished table I was amazed at how smooth the table was, not a ridge to be seen or felt! All the team at Goldfinch were amazingly helpful, polite and flexible. I first arrived at the Bermondsey workshop un -announced. Mike warmly welcomed me and took the time to listen to my needs, and discuss at length various options. Having witnessed Mike and the team’s flexible attitude, attention to detail, expertise and having seen the clean, tidy and orderly workshop, I felt confident that Goldfinch would deliver the table that I wanted. Thank goodness I took the plunge because the table is beautiful. Unique, solid, beautifully crafted and ethical. Alex and Mike very kindly delivered the table to me at a time which was convenient to me. Because the table didn’t fit through my internal door, they ever so kindly removed the top, got through the door and secured the top back on. Furthermore all the team at Goldfinch working on my table kept me updated with regular photos throughout the process, checking the exact colour finish that I wanted etc. The service with Goldfinch was impeccable from start to finish! Incredible customer care, attention to detail, politeness (and they work with sustainably sourced timbers). I give Goldfinch 5 stars and highly recommend them. Enjoy!

We've just had our third piece of furniture from Goldfinch. Great service, again, and proper craftsmanship.

We got to choose the timber and discuss the details of what we'd like. Goldfinch delivered the furniture and, in one case, had to build it into our home.

This service does take time, so you won't be receiving a flat pack the same afternoon. It will take a few weeks. If you are in a hurry, let Goldfinch know your timelines and check they can accommodate.

Goldfinch Furniture had previously designed and built us a large bespoke display unit in 2018.

We commissioned our second piece of furniture from Goldfinch during the first CV19 lockdown. We were suddenly forced to work from home, but live in a warehouse style apartment so creating an office space is challenging and we were sick of using the dining table for everything!

We collaborated with Fred to design a custom made writing desk. It is built in a hard wood (flamed beech), the desk surface has a great feel, especially with the resin infills. Every last detail is exquisite.

The desk fits in perfectly in one corner of our living space and has transformed our home / office dilemma.

Have had an excellent experience with Goldfinch. Many stand alone custom pieces made and built in items as well. From design to installation everything has gone so well. Can’t fault their product or service.

I recently used this company to make up a piece of furniture that I had designed for my new house. I sent the guys my drawing of a kitchen wall mounted storage unit and they realised my vision. I was very pleased with the installation as the process was explained and thought was given as to the positioning of the piece so that the beauty of the wood was showcased. I am now enjoying my first piece of bespoke furniture!

I bought a coffee table from Goldfinch a few years back and was really impressed with the quality of it and by my interactions with the team. Recently went back to them for some special wood to use for shelving. Super pleased with my experience for both! I often just dream scroll through their website wondering when I'll next have an excuse to get another Goldfinch product. Highly recommended!

I have just received a dining table I commissioned from Goldfinch and it is fabulous. The team were very resourceful, prompt with delivery and were very collaborative on the design process with great ideas, and knowledge. We are thrilled with our new table.

We’ve spent just over 3 years building our new family home and have gone to great lengths to make it unique, with spaces and design that flow throughout, as well as integrating with the local environment. High quality, authentic materials and bespoke design are really important components of this. We were delighted to find Goldfinch Furniture who worked with us to create bespoke installations throughout the home, that brought it all together and delivered on our aspirations - like a golden thread through the property. Furthermore their work ethic and approach has been exemplary, with a can do, fun approach, which when you’re building a whole house was like a breath of fresh air! My favourite bit has to be the island cladding which sets the whole kitchen off and ties it in with our floating oak staircase and feature oak front door. Just beautiful.
