I was looking for a unique desk for my garden studio so commissioned Goldfinch Furniture to design and make something special. The result is spectacular! Everyone who sees it wants to know where I got it. I love working from it everyday. Goldfinch are amazing!

I saw some shelving units they did in elephant and castle and we designed from scratch a whole shelving wall with warm led lighting for the bedroom which has now turned into my office. The birch and oak wood looks even better than expected, Mike and Fred did an amazing job and they came over a few times until it was right.

Let's start with the product. The table they designed and made for us is a gorgeous piece of furniture and we love it.

So why only 4 stars? Their communications with us were polite but slow, even allowing for the inevitable disruptions caused by the pandemic.

Moreover, the colour of the table that was delivered was rather different from what we were expecting. I believe their explanation that this is down to natural variations in the timber. It is important to emphasise that Goldfinch's reaction to this was first class - they did not shy away from the issue and worked with us to find a satisfactory solution. 5+ stars for probity and honesty.

Goldfinch first designed and made two tables to match my existing dinning table to use as extensions. They are fantastic. Recently a friend said '"you have a new table", not realising it was the old table with the extension. And just know I have had an old rocking chair repaired. I am so happy with both results. Highly recommend the company. Very fine workmanship.

The best table I have ever bought. It is an outstanding addition to our home furniture. My wife and I are delighted with the buy and would recommend Goldfinch to anyone considering bespoke, quality wooden furniture.

We had our beautiful raw edged oak breakfast bar made by Goldfinch. It’s stunning and definitely the focal point of the kitchen.
The service was excellent and I was even able to go and pick out my own raw piece of oak.

Our beautiful oak table was made by the Goldfinch bunch . We had a slight problem more than a year after buying the table , Mike and his colleague drove down to us on the south coast and sorted it for us . Brilliant service .

I bought a beautiful raw edge oak table from the guys at Goldfinch.. it is honestly the most beautiful thing I think I’ve ever spent money on.. the finish is stunning and the character of the wood really comes through.. They were all super kind and helpful, it was promptly delivered even to my boat which was in the middle of nowhere! Can’t recommend strongly enough..

I wanted some simple shelves for a tricky window alcove. Found Goldfinch Furniture and couldn't be more pleased with our new Sweet Chestnut shelves. Really beautiful. Always incredibly helpful and good at communicating, I will definitely use again for any future wood projects.

I simply was after a couple of hard wood slabs roughly cut to size. With Goldfinch I find myself working with a passionate and helpful team. They helped me all the way through my Project. Even with a simple Job like mine they always find time to give me the best service possible. They even got as far as reserve a beautiful Oak that spent his full life a few km from where I leave. Attention to details is very high, no matter the importance of the job. Very good Value for money!
