I bouth cooking owen and top from Malaga store.
After I paid they inform me that items is in onother stories and will come in 2 days.
All week I called a story they informe that items still coming.
After all week I called them they put me on hold 40 minutes.
I went to take my money back ,I informed a manager she didn't apologise to us she send us to do refund ,she was so cold and not interesting why we do refund ..

Im not the customer, truck delivering for good guys blocked my double garage over 30 minutes, Asked they move to get car out full on vitriolic abuse, told old and ugly etc then this guy goes Im being racist-all recorded, no response from good guys after 10 days! Im still stressed from the abuse, all recorded!

If I could give less than one star I would have, the service and follow up at Good Guys (purchased from Moore Park) has been terrible every step of the way, if you are unemployed and happy to sit at home for days waiting on items purchase from them, if not save yourself the headache. I would never use them again. I am still waiting on my goods and the technician who is meant to come in 2 days to install has already called to say can he come today (no, because I dont have the item) as he has been overbooked on the day I am booked in and wont be able to install that day.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, got sold to this bull shxt 5yrs gold concierge service from Artarmon store and now they are just kicking balls around: the store is telling me now policy changed and they can't lodge the claim on my behalf; called the concierge service team and got told the store has to initiate the claim in first place; going to call fairtrading tomorrow and see who the fxxk should catch the ball and actually do some service.

Bought 2 dishwashers with a store cash bonus. Downloaded the store cash into my wallet before purchase and paid for both with my credit card. Was told I did not need to do anything it was linked to my ph number and email. They were delivered over 3 weeks ago. No store cash in my wallet. Have wasted 2 hours of my time on chat and the phone. Have now been told because I put one under my husbands name and one under my daughters name as it was for her that they wont pay it! Even though its my email my phone number and my credit card on the order. Pretty simple really if they had told me it needed to be under my name easy I would have done that. What a waste of time and a rip off. I only bought thru them because of the offer could have got it anywhere else for the same price.

Buy online. Cut the waste.

Bought a lovely microwave from them. Died after 13 months. The mutt at the desk (earpiece, chewing gum - you know the type - a real clock head) said it would take 20 days to repair (appalling) The reality… my grandma could fix it quicker and she has no arms or legs. 20 days later - still hasn't left the store.

What is the point of in store retail?

Don't have what I paid for.
Had a Fit Bit that would no longer work had the Gold Concierge - rang made a claim - given a store credit.
Go to the store no watches in store to purchase at all. Checked with Townsville they had 2 Eric the sales person spoke to the store put a hold on a watch and told me it would be Star Track expressed to the Cairns store. No up date no phone call I tried calling 3 times got cut off went round in circles with the phone system of press this number for....finally got through lady was a bit rude but said I would get a call back. Week later no call back. Contacted via messenger. Assured I would get a call finally got a call said they would look into the matter and call the next day. Two days later still waiting for a call.
Will be contacting Fair Trading and lodging a formal complaint they have my money I have no watch.

Worst Delivery service

I've purchased a fridge for my new property yesterday and been told that it'll be delivered today between 3:45 to 5:45pm. I left my work at 2pm to be at the property on time but the delivery guy did not show up and did not even bother to inform me. I waited there in an empty property till 7:30pm and the driver tracking map still tells me that I'm I'm second in the queue!!! I was a loyal customer of The Good Guys but never again!!!

Poor customer service

The contact center at 1300765988 did display poor customer service of not understanding my issue.

The storecash system is pathetic and there is no single source of truth.

They find ways to dodge the 30 day price guarantee due to non material clauses.

Terrible customer service

Having been a long standing customer I am extremely disappointed. I bought an expensive item that failed within a couple of months and had to be returned under warranty . I understand things fail but 5 weeks in and a call a week to follow up they have not been able to give me any information or ETA. One staff member told me "tough luck mate" Called the warranty line and it either never answers or I have been put on hold twice for 15 minutes and then hung up on. When i called back and selected sales , the phone answered in 2 rings....they will take your money but wont know you when their products fail. Go to Harvey Norman or JB Hifi

Selling products they don't have in stock

Overall the experience has been extremely unpleasant and unfair as there was no proper information for consumers about the actual delivery date when you do the purchase. Also did not get a reply via online enquiry.
Similar to other reviews on here, I bought a product online at the end of June and paid in full. I got an email update to say that the delivery date will be in 2 weeks time. However, just before the 2 weeks, I got an update email to say it will be delayed. Another 2 weeks later, I did not get an update, so I sent an online enquiry. Did not get a reply and I decided to call the customer service.
Customer service offered to check with vendor to find out when the product will be available. My question was - why hasn't that already been done? Are they waiting for each buyer to call in to then check the status of the order?
I then asked for a swap to a different model that might be available. Customer service sent me an email with options the next day. After i responded to the email with the model i would like and asked a few other questions, I did not get a respond for the day.
So i called up customer service again and asked about the options that were suggested. Turns out the option i wanted was now no longer available as it was sold to someone else. Customer service is currently trying to find some other options that might be available.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service - The Good Guys charged me twice for an online purchase of a dishwasher - an extra $585 - and it was a fault with THEIR payment system. It took a month of emailing (without response), calling, waiting on hold for ages, being hung up on, and being transferred around by really rude customer reps that answer the 1300 573 933. They take your call and you explain the situation, then they put you on hold and don't say anything, and suddenly you are transferred to an off-shore call centre without an intro and you have to explain from the beginning again. Their email team said the refund should go through within 3-5 business days its' now almost a month later and still no refund. I have called up again today and wasted another 30 minutes on the phone and still no refund!

Didn’t deliver our oven on the scheduled date, no reason and didn’t let us know, we had to chase. Happened several times with ASKO through Good Guys. I’m avoiding this company from now on.

The Good guys online service

The Good guys online service - I only purchased the item paying express delivery as I was going away and they said on the email they sent me that it would arrive on the 6th July. Then I received an email saying it would arrive on the 10th of July. I rang them and they blamed TOLL. Toll delivered on the the 7th - someone was in the house the whole time, the door was open and the doorbell worked but they said “no one was home”. Last time I will use either service because of this misrepresentation and shoddy service.

They never delivery when promised even…

They never delivery when promised even after getting notification inwriting and paid for. Never understand why i bothered shopping there, they just dont care.

Since writing this and making numerous complaints, a person brought the freezer in his own car from the store. They hate complaints, especially to the Fair Trading people.

DISGUSTED

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the installation service provided by your company. I recently purchased a washing machine and arranged for it to be installed by your technicians. Unfortunately, the experience has been an absolute nightmare.

The first technician sent to my house had no idea how plumbing works and was unable to complete the installation. This was already frustrating enough, but it was nothing compared to the damage caused by the second technician. He installed the washing machine incorrectly and switched the hot and cold taps, causing all of my clothes to be ruined and the machine itself to be damaged beyond repair.

To make matters worse, I have not received any follow-up or communication from your company despite repeated attempts to contact you. No one ever called me back to address the issues with the installation or to offer a solution to the damage caused.

I am completely appalled by the level of incompetence demonstrated by your technicians and the lack of customer service provided by your company. The damage caused to my property and the inconvenience this has caused me is completely unacceptable. I demand that you rectify this situation immediately and compensate me for the damage caused.

I have been waiting over 4 months for a response from them regarding this.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM, GO DIRECT

Lost between the non-existing Customer Service of ASKO and GoodGys

I bought a brand new cooktop from Asko at the GoodGuys. Who knew what an Odyssey that would become because the product has a clear design fault!

The two front burners of my four burner cooktop are unusable as the front-cover and the knobs are heating up when the front burners are used.
- Called the GoodGuys who told me had nothing to do with them as they were only selling on behalf of ASKO;
- called ASKO who informed me it that it would take them a MONTH to send someone out to investigate. I did of course consider that not acceptable so they sent out a subcontractor who confirmed that it was a design flaw.

Now I have received confirmation that I will get my money back and they will get in touch with me within 3-5 business days. A month later, several texts from me and emails and I am still waiting for them to organise a de-install and getting my money back - and of course get a new cooktop that I can use!

Scamers!

They just don't care! Delivery guy is an absolutely liar and said he buzzed the apartment. He did not, as we were sitting inside the apartment all morning waiting for delivery. Contacted Good Guys and they just didn't care. Immediately blamed the customer. Your driver did not come to our building, reception did not even see him! Own up to your mistakes Good Guys and do your deliveries when you say are going to instead of extortion and trying to make customer pay extra for missed deliveries! Scamsters!!!

Well where do we start!!!!
The customer service and care factor is a big zip zero!! Don't fall for the cash back scheme, it will do your head in when you actually get up from the floor after someone actually answers the phone and then tells you to keep refreshing your app!! Then after many deep breathing exercises you uninstall the app and then reinstall it because you have been advised it's actually your phones issue. Seriously guys you need to be renamed from the Good Guys to the We don't give a Crap Guys. Your marketing idea for this stupid and ridiculously useless attempt to keep customers is doing the absolute opposite. Buyer beware Cash Rewards sux!
