Bought a kettle at the Bundaberg store.
After about 2 dozen boils the water still stank of plastic so I took the lid off and it was perfect.
was prepared to use it like that when I noticed rust forming around the inside of the base.
Took it back, salesman said I will give you a refund as that rust should not be there especially after only a couple of weeks. Took me up to the front counter for a refund and the cashier said sorry no refund until you give me the lid. The lid had nothing to do with the rust and she was prepared to lose me as a loyal long standing customer of over 20 years plus for a lousy $59 kettle. Said I will not darken your doorstep again and she just smiled at me and I left never to return again. (The kettle would have been thrown in their trash bin anyway)

Never provided bonus GC in time to use it, even though NSW laws states 3 years min, not 10 days.

I have been nothing but loyal to this company and looking back on my budget I have spent $39k in the last 5-years with them. I would have spent another $5k today with them but decided to price match all at Harvey Norman as they are less shady them the good guys / JB-HI (That own the good guys).

I'm gather as this latest gift card scam (not to mention the complexity in all their promotions) are aimed at the most loyal, trying to scam the last few $$$ before JB-HI dissolves the brand. I strongly avoid shopping with the good guys anymore (since start 2023) as they will just screw you over for a few extra $$$

They don't pay my money back!

The WORST online customer service that I have ever seen!!! I bought a fridge from online store on 16Jan2023 and I returned it on 26Jan2023. They haven't refunded me yet and I have been waiting for 6 weeks for refund. I always call, send emails, chat with online customer service. During the chat, they always say that they will refund in 3-5 business days but they never pay my money back!!!!

Worst customer service

The "Good" Guys have the worst customer service experience I have ever come across. It is basically non-existent. It has been 4 months now painfully chasing up on money that they owe me through the 30 Day Price Guarantee.

I have quite literally received 1 reply in 4 months. In that reply all they did was ask me for information that I have already provided.

What an absolute joke.

The Good Guys were amazing

the good guys had amazing customer service and the were awesome Luke and Jay were the best as and very kind. Luke had a double shift that day and was extremally kind and they were low on workers that day because of and emergency. I wish I could rate higher but this place was wonderful.

As much as I love shopping in store…

As much as I love shopping in store with these guys I had $20 to spend so I ordered a iPhone case for my son This took myToll a week to pickup, then their site tracking wasn't updated so delivery was missed, and the card left was blank apart from a look up code. Then the site to track item was down for for hours then when checking later the information on how to collect was missing so I had to ring myToll. Then trying to get information out of Toll took having to give them everything short of my place of birth just to find out where to go collect item which would have had my ID check on collection so the whole stuff around was pointless. Its no wonder people are having their identities stolen when you cannot just ask "where is the place to pickup and opening times" without have to hand over you first born child. Good Guys use a better courier as I will never opt to have an item shipped again myToll is a waste of my time never again

Storecash from thegoodguys is SCAM to make you purchase. I bought an item on 25-Nov, was not is not available right now but will be delivered later. Storecash will be credited once item is delivered. Item was delivered on 11-Feb (this too with lot of follow up, change of dates by goodguys mis comms) always stating not available. BUT storecash is not credited!. Why?? item should be delivered by 31/11. I was told multiple times that I will storecash but not goodguys is taking U turn. Feels like I am cheated by goodguys. Please be aware of goodguys storecash scam.

Store cash wallet is tricky and inconvenient

It's hard to reach the customer service team even you wait for hours. There is no response for complains sent through websites even you receive an automatic confirmation saying it will be responded in 5 days. And the stores don't have any customer service in terms of online or phone shopping or store cash deals.
The store cash is designed with terms that are such an inconveniences like,
Must be used within short 1 week to 10 days of time and there is nowhere indicated visibly that you have to use all the voucher amount at once and the details vanish once you used in no way for you to track.
They send text to your phone that you received this voucher.
And they don't replace with another voucher if you missed the time or made a mistake of trying to split the payment. I have used $29 of my wallet cash to order a charger after that I lost the remaining $71. I have made the purchase and additional options considering all the savings but it ended up exceeding the savings I planned.
Store cash wallet sounds like a pain and very tricky money pit.

I have bought most if not all of my appliances from Good Guys Loganholme. Staff members are friendly and have good product knowledge - plus they are always sharp on price. I purchased a new LG Fridge and Toshiba Smart TV. The fridge was perfect unfortunately the Smart TV screen was cracked - these things happen, be better if it didn't but these things happen. It was an inconvenience as I had items delivered - I don't have a vehicle to transport large items. Luckily my brother was free and I was able to take the TV back to the Loganholme store. I'd like to acknowledge Good Guys Loganholme as they took care of everything - they took full responsibility for the broken TV and got me all sorted with a new one (upgrade as well due to my TV not being available in-store and for the inconvenience). Thank you for your great customer service - Telita (sorry if I spelled your name incorrectly), Adam, Kate, and Alicia. I always shop here and will definitely continue to do so thanks to your great service. Thanks for looking after me.

This is a shocking experience with…

This is a shocking experience with goodguys and never will purchase with this shocking company again. Online purchase for a tv on Nov 2022, commented to be deliver before Xmas. FAILED due to shortage . We then had no further update or follow up for 2 months until we called up again in Feb- then arranged for delivery manually due to fail of the order system.
We then ordered for tv installation- booked in the time - no show for the day and advised job never sent to installer as payment not being made. There was no advise of payment to be made and why service payment to be made when service not even deliver. I then called up again - transferred for 5 times with 7 calls in total to find out what has happened. Ended up no text was sent to me for payment .

I won’t and never recommend anyone to be shop with this company again .

Absolutely Pathetic

The StoreCash is a SCAM!!! I have reported it to the ACCC and suggest you do too... what a TOTAL JOKE!!! We bought a stand up freezer in December 2022… the sale, transaction and pickup went quickly and smoothing… as part of the deal there was “StoreCash” offered and bonuses if you paid a certain way etc.. it is now 30 January 2023 and this “StoreCash” has not appeared and they will not help me to find it… I have spent over an hour on the phone already and got nowhere and just now have been hung up on again while on hold… shop elsewhere.

Stay away.

I've never had an experience with a company this large this dismal. They take over 2 months to issue store cash with a 10 day expiry hidden in the t&c's. Even if you're one day late, they refuse to reissue. I personally will never be using them again for anything, regardless of how good the deal is.

I'd avoid them, if I was you.

I never do google reviews, however the good guys at o’connor sounds like they are more like bad guys. If I knew I was dealing with bad guys then I will it would be ok

No Gazette sent / False blame

I became a member in September of 2022 but did not receive one Gazette. I called in December of 2022 and was told the address was incorrect which I found hard to believe cos I was a member for years so I was in the system. As of today I called and talked to Abby because I have still not received a Gazette. Abby tells me this a Post office error. I told her GoodGuys already admitted that there was a address error. She repeated herself six times that I should go to the Post office. I said all I want is my gazette she got all cocky I then said I want a refund and she hung up. I got nothing for my money but a headache an attitude. This is highway robbery

Terrible customer service

If I could give no stars, I would. I was gifted a Good Guys $50 gift card for Christmas that was ‘faulty’ and could not be used in-store. After being hand balled around three different 1300 numbers and customer support service staff (and the huge amount of time spent on hold), I was not helped or compensated. I also emailed customer support service on the website; I've had no response. I was so disappointed with the poor customer service, I am now at the point where I will not be spending another cent at Good Guys, and they have lost a customer who used to purchase all their electrical goods from Good Guys. I will never shop there or JB HIFI who owns Good Guys again.

Outrageously awful experience.

Made a purchase of a tumble dryer on 1 Oct. The product was on the floor and checked to be available for delivery the next day. Paid the $55 delivery charge.

Thats the last I heard from them.

3 months later (!) I get a text asking me to "rate my experience". Wife goes into the shop and the store guy tries to fob her off by saying "the order has been fulfilled". What a joke. They lost the item, lost the invoice, lost track of the order and then had the gall to tell my wife that "it has been delivered".

Do not trust them

Do not trust them. They suggested I get a refund from a online purchase to buy in store. 3 weeks later, no refund. When you call them, expect a wait over an hour. They promise the refund within five days, but still no refund.

Their service is not good, they internal processes are not good, everything they do in store, online or on the phone was not a good experience.
