Google Wallet update
Since last update of Google Wallet I have been unable to access the app. Was great before this. Back to using cards. Can use Google Pay but not so easily found on my mobile

Friday 12 May 2023_ post meridiem.
Today I contacted Google pay to request me profile type is changed from individual to organisation. I had tried all day to get through. When I finally got through I was advised that the profile type cannot be changed. I was told that I selected individual when I registered for the account. This was nonsense as me profile had been somehow changed by Google as I started with an organisation profile. I recall entering me companies name into the manage profile area of me account. The company name field vanished leaving me first and last names remaining (without the company name)
I think I have been repressed.
Got charged twice for the same item…
Got charged twice for the same item google refused to own up to this. They have said because I use fingerprint authorisation it is my fault. Point blank refuse to admit it is a technical error on there side. I never received goods twice just charged double for the same item. Basically they have told me to f off and I cannot get this reviewed again. Luckily my bank has reviewed it and refunded me but that just means google can do it again. Never will I trust google again. Had to give 1 star but wish I could give a minus it is fraud and nothing can be done they should be prosecuted for this.
Trying to get a response out of google…
Trying to get a response out of google pay to a Ticket No Your Google Support Enquiry: Case ID provided by them but placed at least 30 days ago.
Response from Google Pay absolutely ZERO in terms of assisting or understanding problem.
Just a few inane responses which contribute nothing.
Dunning-Kruger effect in operation i.e. no understanding of actual situation or ability to help resolve problem. They don't know what they don't know.

Google charged €149.99 for no reason
Google charged €149.99 for no reason, I suspected that an unauthorised transaction happened. I reported the issue Google Pay support, they replied about valid transaction. They didnt even tell me from which merchant this transaction occurred or provided any details. No refund issued. Looks like funds stolen from my account by Google, i did't recieve any goods or services.
Useless process…
Horrific payment failed but still showing in my pre payments so i cant use the money and its been well over the time stated to go gack into my account. Can't really contact anyone to resolve. My advice keep to PayPal and don't use this
Google payment-totally useless and impossible
My Google payment method went out of date when my card was renewed. Therefore I had no payment method so I tried to add my bank account so this will not happen again.
They send you an amount of pence under 35 to your bank account as a test payment and you enter that into your payment method verification to verify it.
Except the amount of 17pence was rejected..
I was told I only had one more chance.
I have called Google all morning on five different calls on each of which they promised me a call back from the right department within five minutes.
Absolute waste of my time and energy. I cannot pay Google money because they won’t accept it.
So I go online and I fill in the online form at the end of which I get a report that there has been a problem submitting this form please refresh and try again infinitely.
And then I get the chance to submit a survey on the phone which I did. Another waste of time.
It is impossible to add a bank account to your Google account and give them money.
So I cannot use Google nest aware.
I’ve been at my desk all morning waiting for three phone call responses which should’ve happened within five minutes and haven’t happened all morning.
Whatever you call it Customer Service is not what they offer from the Philippines.
They are utterly useless and ignorant.
I’m now 10minutes into waiting for my 6th call to be answered, I’ve been trying all day and have got absolutely nowhere.

Not a review really just an observation it seems to me that all these big companies that we pay for goods through dont give a crap for the ordinary people paying money through, them this just comes from reading reviews on various websites seems to me we would be better of paying direct by credit card at least you have the option of charge back and dealing with your bank on a more personal basis i myself am just about to close my account with paypal because thier customer service is horrific i was thinking of opening an account with google pay but it seems their all great until you have a problem with a purchase and then their through colours show
It's a piece of crap
It's a piece of crap. I got my profile suspended because I had set a monthly limit on my card and the transaction got rejected. The support people at Google must be having the longest holiday ever because I submitted my ID 5 days ago and still no one has reactivated my profile.
Uncaring Company
Ordered an Uber and stood outside my house waiting, it did not turn up and unbelievably Uber charged a cancellation fee. When I complained to Google Pay they said they could see nothing wrong. Uber have eventually gave me a credit on my account. Once this credit is used it's goodbye Uber and Google Pay.
Constant Re-Verification
Every time I try to make a purchase I need to re-verify my identity. It took nearly 3 months the first time because they accepted my driver's license and then said we need more. So sent them a copy of my passport. They said they still needed more for my address and requested an electric bill. Then that wasn't good enough so they asked for a copy of my mortgage statement. Finally they re-instated my account so I could pay for my Google services. 2 months later I try and sign up for YouTube TV and they suspended my account and want me to send them all the information again. This is ridiculous!

Complicit in fraudulent transactions is the only conclusion I can come to.
Most of the time I was happy with how the bank operates. Easy to use app, simple interface and some security which gives comfort.
Unfortunately, it's only when there is an issue do you fully understand how good or bad a company is.
I purchased what was seemingly a legitimate transaction. Site certificate, used Google pay, site via Google shopping, company and address check was valid. Yet, on immediately purchasing, there was an issue with the invoice which alerted me to it being a fraudulent transaction. A very good, and seemingly genuine transaction. I immediately informed both GooglePay and Starling. At this point, both companies could have blocked the transaction, not necessarily returning the funds until they investigated further. They could have also prevented many others caught out by the same scam over the following weeks, but looking at TrustPilot others were left out of pocket.
So I no longer use GooglePay nor Starling Bank, and would advise people to purchase everything using a credit card ( pay off in full each month still gives much better protection plus they immediately add the site to a fraud list preventing others being caught out)
Google Play Allowing SCAMMING
I am very disturbed by the "money making" gaming apps google play is allowing on its site. The FCC needs to review how they choose their "qualified" apps. Scammers are running apps all over google play and its a nightmare trying to get refunds on "transaction fees' and you never get the payout the app claims they are depositing into your paypal. WOWtube (early access) is one of MANY, MANY apps google play offered. It apparently is not on the platform now because I could not find it to post a review. Any unity platform game is a scam and google play has dozens!! I can name 25 scam money making games that google play allows. I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND MY PAYOUTS and I am going to be a thorn in everyones sides until I get it. UNITY PLATFORM DEVELOPERS need to be shut down.,

96% of companies make you use google pay and when they ban your account and refuse to tell you what rule you suposidly broke you cant do anythiing and during the process they made me wait days at a time in between sending every document I have proving I am who I claim too bbe and this was on there website so unlesss they got hacked and dont want anyone knowing it was no scam I had to get rid of my account and every google product ive ever bought I lost tons of money and the most valuable every picture and video of my Mom who killed herself last year so thank you forr a living hell google you are the living example of the christians devil as they make him out too be
