Absolutely incredible! So much was happening and there was never a dull moment. The outdoor setting was also incredibly atmospheric. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

This Punch-drunk inspired performance was incredibly exciting and fun!! Our students were so inspired by the work of GOOMS and we will definitely be coming back for the next one! Highly, highly recommend for anyone interested in a different, interactive style of theatre - it was so cool!

We went to see Antigone at the Kingdom cafe venue. It was a fascinating evening of immersive theatre, moving between six outdoor spaces to learn different aspects of the story. It was a challenge to bring the story together in our heads and so we were keen to move around to learn more from the various characters. The acting, atmospheric music and simple props were excellent. I could watch it again just to visit the parts of the story we might have missed in other spaces. Highly recommended, and I'm keen to see other productions.

Really imaginative way to perform an ancient tragedy and it worked so well. Having little groups of actors performing their own scenes sounded like a nightmare, but somehow it all made sense and it was a lot like having a ring side seat at a real event, with shouts or cries from other parts of Thebes attracting your attention and prompting a decision as to whether to stay or move on. There were some very powerful individual scenes - I especially enjoyed the scene between Tiresias and Haemon where the latter drinks the ambrosia. I thought the obol theme worked well too and although not in the original Sophocles it cleverly reflected the theme of not crossing the gods. Well done to all

A fantastic night at the Three Scrooges!

The venue at The Beacon was a great setting and well thought out to create a generous yet intimate performance space.

The food was genuinely delicious and accompanied by offerings from a small bar featuring local beers and much enjoyed wine.

The script, choreography and set/props were all well worked and well designed around the courses of the meal giving natural flow. There was enjoyable audience participation that was involving, entertaining and in no way overbearing.

The acting team carried such enthusiasm and energy (as well as ability) to create an enthralling production even despite a member of their small casting being forced to self-isolate at short notice.

The lighting design and use in the space were excellent with the effects adding another dimension to the performance and of quality far less often seen with small theatre groups such as this.

I look forward to having the opportunity to see GOOMS again!

What a great .night out. Super venue, good food, good beer but best of all what a group of talented actors. Thoroughly recommend. Will be going again.

Hi energy compelling entertainment, very polished, good actors and all close up for extra impact

A splendid and fun night out and just the way to ignite the Christmas spirit in our large group of friends. We are all so very proud of this young, local troupe. The show was excellent: well acted, well directed, clever and witty. I would highly recommend to anyone.

What a fabulously entertaining evening fantastic food and an amazing performance from a very versatile trio of actors. The location was stunning and given all the preoccupation with Covid the Marquee was a very spacious and safe location. Tables were well spaced - fun, food and laughter are a great combination ( not forgetting the wine !) Thanks to all the production, cooks and service team.

If you want a truly great evening of fun and entertainment then look no further. The presentation of Scrooged was brilliantly performed, the service was impeccable and the food was first class. All in all I could not recommend this any better.

What a novel and brilliant way to blend dining and entertainment. The meal was superb and the entertainment first class. The retelling of a Christmas Carol was brilliantly acted by some very talented actors who we all hope to see again soon. A fantastic evening set in a warm and wonderfully placed location.
