I’ve never been to a production like this before. It was brilliant! How 4 actors and the creative director managed to create such atmosphere, energy and realism in the classic Macbeth is to be admired. I believed every minute of it - the goosebumps and hairs on the back of my neck told me so! Thank you 🙏

This was such an exceptional and atmospheric experience. Wonderfully acted and staged in the perfect venue - open air theatre in woodland in the full moonlight with owls hooting and not a drop of rain. I've never engaged with this play as much as I did in this setting with these actors and director. The one minor niggle - which cannot be helped and punters and players cannot plan for - was that it was absolutely freezing (5 degrees) and despite wrapping up as warm as possible, this did detract a little for me.

An innovative theatre experience in the round held in a woodland clearing with bats, owls and light rainfall adding to the experience. The company rose admirably to deliver a gripping performance of Macbeth lit by the audience’s torchlight. The four actors transported us to the dark realms of Macbeth’s rise and fall with convincing performances as they inhabited their various characters under the direction of an imaginative director. For seasoned theatre goers this offers a new and engaging experience which we highly recommend. Dress for an October evening and seize the moment.

I loved the space. The action was gritty and real. The actors were very committed and my only critique is the difference between some of the multiple characters they played was too subtle and this detracted from the story.
I liked the singing at the end, I’m not Scottish but it was rousing, if only we could have sat round a bonfire how atmospheric would that have been.
Keep going, enjoy creative licence we need this.

Phenomenal work from this company yet again. Their newest piece, 'Macbeth', staged outdoors in the moonlight, is a complete treat. Full of atmosphere and power. Great performances. Impressive sound design. And you can't beat the live sound effects from the surrounding woodland. Absolutely recommend.

Travelled from Warrington to watch this - a friend of ours is a cast member. Not disappointed. Four very talented cast members performing in a challenging setting. We also had the benefit of perfect weather. I enjoyed having the unexpected role of being part of the lighting team (4 members of the audience were provided with more powerful torches and were responsible for following the action as it took place in the area near to where they were sitting.) Would highly recommend this production

A great, immersive and atmospheric experience. Walking by moonlight on a still, calm night to the stage with the performance in the round, we were all beguiled by the adoption of different characters by the cast. The soundscape was incredible and the entire performance was appropriately spooky and dramatic. Loved it - bravo, Gooms 👏🏻

The setting for this play is amazing! A magical building and then a walk through the woods to a clearing. I really enjoyed the performance and was impressed by the versatility of the actors. I highly recommend this as a good night out.

Brilliant production of Macbeth. The setting was amazing - woods, full moon and hooting owls (all unscripted ) just added to the amazing experience. The energy and vitality of the actors was outstanding . Highly recommended .

A very unique experience and one that my daughter and I will always remember. The setting was perfect and highlighted the raw talent of these amazing actors. The performance was faultless and I am in awe of the actors ability to perform a Shakespeare's Macbeth so well, outside in the dark for 1 1/2 hours. We were truly immersed into the cold Scottish night surrounded by woodland and gripped by the action that played out all around us. Brilliantly acted and produced, the story of Macbeth was intensified by our torchlight and seeing our breath in the cold night air. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and one I won’t forget.

What an amazing experience. Lovely drink in such a beautiful venue, led through the woods by torchlight and then witnessing some absolutely brilliant acting and I was totally mesmerised the whole time. Hearing the actors moving around us and all whilst sitting in the darkness was really brilliant. I can’t really express how much talent these guys have, it was just amazing. Wow what a night! The quality and intensity of the actors was incredible. Beautiful venue to enjoy a pre show drink and then such a great atmosphere to enjoy the show, with the dark woods and nature all around us. Loved every minute of it.

Gorgeous Immersive Experience

A well acted, well directed, informal and engaging piece. I loved the audience interaction and the joy of sharing Christmas dinner with the Cratchits- what a fantastic idea, and so impressively pulled off, especially considering it all took place during the nightmare of COVID. It was so worthwhile and was the one thing that brought me that fuzzy Christmas feeling, and I cherish the memory of it.

What a brilliant adaption of this Christmas classic. Four fantastic actors who individually bought bags of fun, energy and huge talent to brighten up our Christmas. You all deserve great success.
