We are so excited to be trying out a new type of travel - by rail. Joe has put together a very interesting agenda for our upcoming August trip - accommodating our prior travel commitments, event changes, dates and answering our list of pre-trip questions. Thoroughly professional!

Alex was an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened to what was important to us, changed the few things we wanted and put together a fantastic itinerary for our trip! This is our first time going to Scotland and we are so excited to see everything we wanted to!

We booked our Scottish holiday with Tristan, what I really liked was that he got us an itinerary very quickly and then followed up with video calls. He made several changes after each call. Talking to him was like talking to a friend. Lots of storytelling. I would highly recommend him. He made the booking process so easy.

Peter was very attentive and productive with helping us plan our GO rail travel trip to Scotland in September 2026. He modified the itinerary to make sure we would see all the areas we were interested in and worked with us on making changes as requested promptly. He always called on time to discuss the rail trip with informative and detailed emails as a follow-up. He included a great video describing the entire itinerary with a personal commentary and was able to answer all our questions. We are really looking forward to our rail trip to Scotland this Fall. Booking my trip to Scotland, Alex was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on where to go. She listened to my list of places I wanted to go and made adjustments as we made small adjustments.

Sean was so helpful and personable. He listened to all my responses and changed the itinerary accordingly. He was great to work with and we got the trip of a lifetime scheduled with ease and confidence. The videos he sent of where we were going were spectacular. We could not have had a better travel guide. He obviously is very knowledgeable. He was able to suggest alternatives and include things and delete them in the itinerary with ease almost instantly. I would recommend working with him to anyone who is considering traveling.

Our Swiss rail trip was canceled by a different company but we already had plane tickets and pre and post reservations. I found GoRailTravel and they were able to put together a wonderful trip itinerary. I worked with Joe, going back and forth, making sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Even with the 9 hr time difference we were able to talk and get everything planned. I am really looking forward to the trip and will write a review after it is over.

Tristen was a great representative for Go Rail Travel. He took the time to understand what we wanted, worked within our timelines for travel while keeping ongoing and timely communication with an 8 hour time difference in our geographical location's. This is my first dealings with GoRailTravel and I have been very impressed with our Travel Agent Sean. Sean is very detailed and put together a great plan for us to see Switzerland. He does an outstanding job listening to what the clients want and offering suggestions and ideas that might enhance the trip as well as introduce things we may not have thought of. The video phone conference is a great tool and really gives you a great preview of what your trip will look like. The reviews for this company are very good, and Sean is a great representative. We are very excited as we work to finalize our agenda for this trip.

Adam was fabulous to deal with, very responsive in the time leading up to and during our trip. The itinerary Adam provided was the perfect balance between a schedule and flexibility. This is the first time we have used a travel service as I have always done the booking myself. We wanted to see a bit of Italy and and travel by train all over Switzerland. I had a very good initial conversation with Sean who walked me through the process he used for trip planning. It would be far easier for me to have the travel booked by a specialist who can handle all of the hotel bookings, rail travel and recommendations and booking for activities we are interested in. Sean listened well and sent our initial itinerary for review and it was absolutely in line with what I had outlined. We reviewed all of the details and then decided we wanted less train travel time and more time at our destinations for hiking, exploring and site seeing. Sean revised our trip based on my input and came up with a great itinerary that we are very excited about. I am confident if we need to make any changes or have additional questions before or during the trip that Sean will be there to answer them.
