This is amazing trip in my life, Everybody was so exciting especially our children, our tour guide Gerald is a Humorous and experienced tour guide.we The whole trip was full of laughter, Thank you, next time we will introduce more friends to your tour.

Peter planned a once in a lifetime trip for us and boy did it deliver and more. Our arrangements in Zanzibar were perfect but the cherry on the cake were our game drives across the Tanzanian jungles. Gab kept us entertained not only with his wit and humour but he was also extremely knowledgeable and could easily identify tons of species of birds (he can identify more than 600). The sightings were just amazing and the accommodation inside the jungles was par excellence! Not one thing that we could really complain about.

After looking at many agencies and comparing programs, budgets and accomodations, we chose Gosheni Travels and we LOVED it. We originally booked a safari for 4 days to Serengeti and Ngorongo. Because of a delay of precision airlines we lost 1 day in our trip. The Gosheni travel team helped us a lot during that day, as they were contacting precision airlines themselves for us and giving us information we did not get in the Zanzibar airport. The next day we took the trip and to our great suprise, the team still made sure that we visit both parks and modified the program as well as the return flight with no charges added. The safari was AMAZING. Our driver Gabriel was the BEST. From his tiger eyes that can spot any animal to his full knowledge of every thing in the parks and his amazing people skills, that made us laugh, sing and enjoy every moment no matter how hard or long the road was. We were also very lucky to spot all the animals in our second day in Serengeti. Gabriel managed to get us to see the leopard, cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffalos, the famous black rhino, even snakes and basicly all the animals of the Serengeti parl’and Ngorongo Crater.
Our accomodation was also super luxurious and excellent. The choice Peter (ceo of gosheni) made was super nice. Beautiful lodges, really great food. And we got the most special lodge since it was our honeymoon.
We will never forget this experience thanks to Margaret, Peter and Gabriel. And we will definitely return again!

Her responses were prompt and thoughtful and we felt very taken care of throughout the process. There are so many companies to choose from, but we felt we were in good hands with Gosheni and they did not disappoint.

I can’t imagine a better guide than William. We felt very safe as he expertly navigated the difficult drives in the parks while answering our questions and sharing his knowledge. From animal facts to Maasai culture, he knows it all. Because of his experience and instincts we were able to see more than we ever expected. William went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderfully relaxing safari on our own schedule, while also filling our days with hours of animals, adventure, and good food. Every day we looked forward to the long drives thanks to William.

William was a world class safari guide during our 10 day tour. He is extraordinarily kind, knowledgeable, funny, and talented. He is exceedingly familiar with all of the parks and could answer any question about animals, fauna, Tanzanian history or culture, and life as a safari guide. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed his company and sense of humor. His ability to safely drive on tough terrain while spotting well-concealed game (and swatting away flies at the same time) left us in awe. Everything went off without a hitch and William filled our trip with amazing memorable highlights. We could not have asked for a more talented, professional, accommodating, and kind safari guide.

Many thanks to Pendo as well for organizing our itinerary. I must’ve emailed her 50 times in the weeks leading up to the trip with tweaks to the itinerary and questions about navigating COVID related requirements to enter the country. She was always very responsive and gave clear information.

After many hours of research my husband and I chose Gosheni Safaris to help us plan our trip of a lifetime to Tanzania. They are a locally owned Tanzania safari company. Peter the owner helped us plan the perfect itinerary for our 7 day safari experience! We were greeted at the airport after an extremely long flight from Canada with refreshments and snacks! Our AMAZING guide was William. William was kind, caring, fun and extremely knowledgeable about all of the different species and areas we visited. Plus he has been a guide for many years so he has great safari stories!! He worked extremely hard to ensure our safari experience was one to remember! We were extremely lucky to view all of the many animals on our safaris including 4 incredible leopard sightings. We had a 10-day safari with Gosheni in end of Sept. I have to say everything is just perfect and it will be my lifelong memory. When I searched agencies, I compared price and service among many of them and finally Gosheni gave me the most reasonable plan and quotation.

During the safari, we were happy to find out that we did enjoy the best in class service and facilities. All the accommodations were luxury and comfortable with perfect service. The car was very new and in perfect condition (it even had picnic shades and tables and chairs which made our lunch in Ngorogoro is exceptionally comfortable). All lunch are actually proper lunch with table setting,3-course meal and even beer and wines! We were extremely flattered when first time seeing it while most of other visitors were having their sandwiches lunch box.

Our guide William was very experienced and knowledgeable. He always tirelessly drove us all around and spotted the animals which we were impossible to see by ourselves! He was charming, considerate and patient. I can’t imaging anyone could be better! With his help, We have seen almost all animals in our safari and some of them were super rare!

I highly recommend Gosheni to all my friends who would like to enjoy a five-star service and memorable safari with affordable price.

We did a custom 8-day safari, hitting several parts of the Serengeti and Tarengire. We started planning the trip about three months in advance. Pendu answered promptly all our questions via email and helped us create the trip of our dreams. Every minute of the trip was amazing. William met us at the airport and was our guide on the safari. His English, animal knowledge, cultural knowledge, driving skills, and sense of humor were impeccable. Bonus - he is Masai and was able to give us a window into that world.

Gosheni was really first class all the way. While other tours were handing out box lunches and bottled water, we ate hot meals on tableclothed china with cold beer and wine.

Finally, there were animals! We lost count of how many animals we saw, thousands of wildebeest and zebra, probably a hundred giraffe and elephants, a dozen lions and hippos, several cheetah and hyena, one leopard, and even a painted wolf.

We completed a customized 8 day safari starting with the Northern Serengeti down to Tarangire National Park. IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

From planning to execution, Gosheni Safari's quality and service was impeccable. Apart from the incredible photos and stories to tell for decades, I'm grateful for the countless laughs and conversations over lunches and dinner that really taught me how to take everything 'pole pole' and the real meaning of TIA (THIS IS AFRICA). We booked for a 9 day Bush to Beach safari. Thanks to Pendo who was my contact and organized our trip. It was perfect.
We spent 4 days with our driver guide William. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. William is a very good guide. He knows every animal we've seen. He found for us the big five and many others. He is very professional and friendly.
We slept in a camp in the national park. It was a wonderful experience to wake up surrounded by zebras and gazelles.
Then we fly to Zanzibar. We spent the first day with a guide. We visited Stone Town (slave market, church, local market). Then we went to a spice farm. It was really interesting and fun to guess the plants and taste the fruits.
We spend the last 2 days in a nice hostel with pool and beach. Paradise.
Thanks again to Pendo, William and the whole team. We will never forget this trip.

William Augustino David planned, organized, and guided us and our grandchildren on a wonderful 9-day safari in Tanzania in July 2021. The planning included an itinerary, lodges, and flights from North Serengeti to Zanzibar.

William met us at Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred us to our lodge in Arusha.

We started the safari the next morning in Tarangire and continued to Lake Manyara, Lake Eyasi, Karatu, Ngorongoro Crater, and Central and Northern Serengeti.

The trip was made in a Gosheni Safaris Africa vehicle (a jeep with a roof that could rise so that we could stand and watch the animals safely and comfortably). William showed us the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, African buffalo, lion, and leopard) and many other animals that he managed to identify from far away. He also explained about trees, plants, and boulders that we saw.

We saw herds of thousands of wildebeest (gnu) pass next to our safari vehicle after they crossed the Mara River, while crocodiles lurked for them.

We visited the Hadzabe (hunters and gatherers), Datoga and Maasai tribes, and the Olduvai Museum, one of the most important paleo-anthropological sites in the world.

We walked from Karatu to the Elephant caves and descended to a nearby waterfall using the new steps.

The lodges, our daily lunches in the nature, the encounter with animals in their natural environment, all conducted by William, were an unforgettable experience to all of us.

My husband and I did a 10 days Mara River Migration Safari with Gosheni Safaris and we are glad we chose this agency, because everything was perfect. We worked for over a year with Pendo for the itinary as we planned to go on a safari last year, but due to the pandemic we had to postpone this trip. Pendo was really attentive to all my concerns as I had a lot of questions concerning the sanitary situation in Tansania and the safari in general. We were really lucky to have William as a driver. From the beginning we felt that we were in good hands. William is an awesome guide, a really good driver and is never satisfied until we saw the animals we hoped to see. He is really professional and has a lot of humour which we highly appreciated. He is really attentive to his clients' needs. We were also really happy with the choice of lodges. Gosheni Safaris chose a lot of Acacia camps for our accommodation and those camps were amazing.

Overall, it was an amazing experience with Gosheni. We worked with Pendo for several weeks to get the perfect itinerary for us. We aren't big fans of small planes which added an extra layer of complication but she assured us that we could still make it all work which included stops in Masai Mara, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Arusha.

We started off for a few days in Masai Mara with Tony as our driver/guide. He was on the quieter side but worked extremely hard to deliver the experiences we were looking for.

We spent the majority of our trip in Tanzania and had William as our driver/guide the entire time there. It's hard to imagine a safari experience could be any better. William is a true professional with a great combination of experience, knowledge, communication skills, humor, and work ethic. We had an unforgettable 10 days with him with so many awesome safari experiences. He flows seemlessly during each day (always with a smile on his face) between driver to expert guide to comedian to waiter (during his epic "hot" lunches in the bush!) .

Would highly recommend the Gosheni team and will definitely use them again for our next trip back to Tanzania/Kenya!

Our family just finished an amazing 9 night/10 day great migration tour with Gosheni Safaris and our driver Laban. From the moment we were picked up at the airport in Arusha, to our safe return 10 days later we were the center of attention for our amazing and extremely knowledgeable guide.

We worked with Cindy, who perfectly matched the trip itinerary and hotels to our budget and we were not disappointed. Our accommodations were perfect and a welcome retreat after our game drives.

Our guide, Laban, was a pleasure to be with the entire trip. He ensured our entire family was having a great time (including a 10 and 12 year old). Our son turned 12 during the trip and had a memorable celebration arranged by the Gosheni team and hotel staff deep in the Serengeti. While seeing wildlife involves some luck I believe Laban helped roll the dice in our favor.

This was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime for our family.

We did a safari tour with George from Gosheni in the middle of July. It was one of the most incredible excursion I have ever experienced. We did a 3 day customised tour from Arusha to Serengeti to Ngorogoro. We were super super lucky to see over 20 lions in a span of 3 days, George knows exactly where the spots are you will not be disappointed!

George was a very very knowledgeable guide, we have had a safari before and the guide was not as informative as George. He was kind, willing to listen, answer questions, funny, speaks great English and open to take us anywhere.

I highly recommend George and Gosheni as a guide and tour company. One thing they never mentioned is that Gosheni is LOCAL so if you go with them you are supporting a local company!
