9 Nights / 10 Days of Magic
Based on a mix of Gosheni standard itineraries, Gladys of Gosheni helped create a magical custom safari that encompassed Serengeti, Ngrongoro and Lake Manyara. One aspect I really appreciated about Gladys was that she gave candid feedback about some proposed destinations that were not suitable for one reason or another.
We flew from Arusha to Seronera airstrip where we were met by Hassan. Our hope was to see a broad variety of both prey and predators as well as a variety of birds. We were not disappointed; we were delighted. Hassan's spotting skills were incredible,his mastery of a 4 x 4 under challenging conditions a great comfort and, on a couple of occasions, his recommendation to leave an overcrowded kill-site and to return later all contributed to an unbelievable experience.

Trip of a lifetime
It is difficult to find the words to express how much we enjoyed our custom made 9 day tour through Gosheni to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. I referred to our driver/guide, Hassan, as our walking/driving encyclopedia. He was extremely well informed and made everything even more interesting. We learned so much in the process. He went above and beyond to satisfy our needs, from my husband’s interest in photography to dealing with family issues we had and having to find WiFi. He was an extremely responsible driver too traversing the unbelievably bad roads. He was very good at finding out just where to go by communicating with the other drivers, and as a result of that and his knowledge of what to look for, we saw the most incredible sightings, from lions and leopards in trees, mating of lions, birth of wildebeest in the middle of migrations, one of the most amazing experiences, and so many colorful birds both large and small. I cannot speak highly enough of him. Gladys and Jessica in the office added to the magic of this safari by making sure our anniversary and my birthday were celebrated, not just at one of the lodges, but all of them!!! It was truly a trip of a lifetime.

Wonderful 9-day safari
We did a 9-day safari as a couple and visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara. We had a wonderful, relaxed and really amazing time with Ombeni, our guide, and with the company Gosheni that organised everything very well and smoothly. The lodges and tented camps were great. Most importantly, our guide Ombeni was extremely nice, very professional and experienced. We saw so many different aminals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, he knew all the places where to go. We also were very impressed by the wonderful landscape, he explained many details to us plus he solved our minor problems within minutes. We really had a great time together. We can only recommend him and Gosheni!

COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR MORE
My wife and I have just returned from the trip of a lifetime to Tanzania. After doing a lot of research we settled on using Gosheni for our safari and they exceeded our expectations.
Gosheni took care of EVERYTHING. We arrived at Kilimanjaro airport in the late afternoon. We were picked up from the airport by a Gosheni driver and taken to our hotel for a much needed night of sleep. The following morning we were met by William in the hotel lobby and taken to the Gosheni office to meet Gladys for our safari briefing. After the briefing we set off for 5 days with William through 3 different national parks.
William is FANTASTIC. He knows everything there is to know about every animal and every bird. He went out of his way to ensure that we saw the Big Five and every day was a new adventure. His knowledge of the various national parks is extensive and he was able to take us to less crowded areas away from the scrum of what can be dozens of vehicles moving in what can feel like a convoy (in the Serengeti in particular). Gosheni’s Land Cruiser was very comfortable even while traveling through rough terrain. It has a well stocked cooler of water and soft drinks, sockets to plug in depleted phone and camera batteries, and WiFi.
The lodgings were awesome. The camps we stayed felt luxurious (with most of the creature comforts of home) while also making you feel connected to your surroundings. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious and exceeded what we thought was possible given the logistics for the camps to get all the ingredients to their isolated locations. Lunches were provided by the lodges for us to take with us each day. We got jealous looks from tourists using other safari companies when William began taking out tablecloths, table mats, wine and real cutlery as they ate their boxed lunches.
At the end of our trip we did a one-day hike to the base camp of Mount Kilimanjaro. Gosheni arranged this, too. (Please note that not all operators have both safari guides and Kilimanjaro guides so this is another reason to use Gosheni.) Sam was our mountain guide and he was mindful of our fitness level and made the 16k hike really interesting and enjoyable.
I can’t recommend Gosheni, William and Sam highly enough. You will not be disappointed.

A perfect experience!
My husband and I went on a 5 day private safari with Gosheni and the experience was beyond incredible.
There are a ton of Safari companies in Tanzania, but the level of service and the friendliness and helpfulness of the people at Gosheni is incomparable.
We had William as a driver and he was both friendly and knowledgeable. He knew everything about all of the parks and animals, and really took the time to answer all of our questions and take us to all of the best places. We saw the big five, but we also saw a long list of incredible moments that we will never forget - two hippos fighting in the water, a heard of buffalo chasing three male lions, a cheetah jumping on the hood of a Jeep, a wildebeest who had just given birth and so many others.
The service on the safari was beyond what I saw from other tour operators. Instead of a boxed lunch with sandwiches, you get a home cooked meal served on real plates and a tablecloth (and even wine!). And the safari hats at the start are an awesome touch!
But the service extends beyond just the safari itself. We worked with Pendo to plan the perfect safari. However, about two weeks before the trip, we found out that my husbands mother was quite ill and that we needed to spend the time with her. While everything was fully paid and the terms clearly said that we could not cancel so close to the start, when we reached out to Pendo, she immediately agreed to move the dates of the trip and she worked with all of the accommodations to move everything without us having to pay a single change fee. It meant so much to us since his mother passed away a few months later and the time we got with her truly was priceless.
As well, at the end of the safari, we opted to do a day hike of Kilimanjaro, which we also booked with Gosheni. Salum (Sam) was our mountain guide and he was wonderful. We are not hikers, and his good attitude and encouragement helped us keep going. And if we ever decide to do the full hike to the Summit, we will definitely ask for Salum to be our guide.
Overall, Gosheni is wonderful! We would recommend them to anyone going to Tanzania - and we hope to be back one day soon!

Having only 3 days for safari but!!!!Hadès more than i could ever expect
Having only 3 days for safari due to the short schedule, I was afraid of not being able to see much animals. But our guide, Ben cleared big 5 challenge by day2 4pm. What a great surprise!! And on the top of that, whenever we faced some tough conditions on the road, he went beyond our expectation to offer us the best experience ever. Only can strongly strongly recommend!!!!! The Safari was amazing from the first…
The Safari was amazing from the first minute when Ben (our guide) welcomed us at the airport with a surprise breakfast on a table like real VIPs, it instantly relaxed us and made us feel very comfortable.
Then… it could start. Surprise after surprise we enjoyed the unexpected and unique moments and discoveries.
Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti was amazing, the expectations were overwhelmed and Ben explained in an interesting way everything, so we were able to fully enjoy the experience. Ben was very kind and funny, the right balance between friendly and professional.
I recommend this Safari and Gosheni for the perfectly planned trip. Car was perfectly comfortable and clean.
We will call them for the next Safari trip with no hesitation !

5/5 safari with Laban
Fantastic 10 day safari across Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ndutu.This is not our first safari but Laban was the best tour guide we have had. Everything was taken care of from the food to travel arrangements as well as ad hoc requests we had along the way. We were well taken care of (4 of us) and everything was catered to.
More importantly, we also borrowed his professional camera and were able to capture some amazing game footage (important for Instagram ;))

Great trip!
I had a wonderful few days touring Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks with Ombeni. We saw so many animals up close, and he was very knowledgeable about the different ones. He was also a great driver through all sorts of muddy and bumpy roads during some occasional heavy rains!

The best Safari!
We, 3 of us, went on an 5-days private safari in Arusha, Tanzania. On the first day, our guide, Ombeni, picked us up, directly, from our hotel. At that time, we've been super excited, but didn't know exactly what to expect. Now, we can say it was an amazing and unforgettable adventure. We saw pure wildlife, beautiful landscapes and got to know local people (Maasai). Our guide, welcomed us warmly and we felt very save and comfortable from the first time on. He was always patient with us and waited until we were ready to take our pictures before we went on the journey. We had so much fun with him, but not only this, he also explained us everything about the nationalparks, plants and animals on the side.
We had great luxury accomodations, as we've been lucky ones who got an upgrade, we always had breakfast in form of buffet, great lunch (not lunch-boxes) and delicious dinner. The Jeep was equiped with Wifi, sockets to charge the whole, Kamera, etc. on the way. Drinks were unlimited, there was water and soft drinks on board.

We booked the Safari Tour in August for January 2020, during this time Gladys, from the Gosheni backoffice, planned our andanswered all our questions. The communication Was really easy over WhatsApp and Email.
Now in January we had the Safari and it was incredible experience. Our driver Ombeni was a really experienced guide and always outperformed our expectations, he knows all the good places to see "the big five", other animals and amazing landscapes.
Gosheni also booked amazing hotels - so we can get Rest to be ready for the next Safari Day, the rooms were always unique and the food was very good.
Overall it was an amazing experience and I can only recommend it.

Unforgottable Safari!
While we were looking for a safari company, we discovered Gosheni by accident on google maps and we contacted them. Gladys, the lady in the back Office, answered within hours our request and so we got in contact, also by WhatsApp. We decided for Gosheni and that was the best decision we could have made! Our guide Ombeni was very helpful, warm and kind. We had so much fun with him and he took care of us very well! He really knows everything about the parks, animals and also Maasai!! The safari itself was breathtaking and unforgottable! The lodges we stayed in were really nice and offered a lot of luxury!
I would definitely recommend Gosheni Safaris! All the other companys we saw at the lunch places were having a small lunchbox but we had soup, meat, vegetables and rice and wine:) Everything was very well organized and all the employees of Gosheni we met were so nice and kind.
