I have been trying for almost a year to claim on the collision damage waiver insurance that GotRentalCars sold me to no avail. The phone number provided was useless, my emails got rejected and they ignored a registered/ signed for letter sent by post. I’m still almost £1500 out of pocket for a couple of minor scrapes and their new provider has an unrecognised email address and an internal server error so my documents can’t be uploaded.

Extra damage waver is very good value and much cheaper than at the car rental desk. I checked the all the Ts & Cs with AI and it's good cover for the money.

The experience was very pleasant. The price was very good, and the reservation process was very easy.

I use GotRentalCars all the time, always get the best the deals and bargains! Think I've hired like 6 times through them and prices are unbeatable.

Play with the timings and dates as that can alter the price you pay, for example collecting at 10am maybe cheaper than collecting later or extending your rental by a day or two can also make it cheaper

I do not recommend RentaPlus Olbia The car was rented from Monday to Friday and paid for in advance. The pickup was supposed to be at 10:00 PM at Olbia Airport. We landed at 10:00 PM and immediately started calling the phone number provided regarding the car pickup. Nobody answered. Despite this, we searched for the company around the airport. When we finally found it, it was closed.

We assumed that we would simply pick up the car the next day since we had already paid in advance for the following days. However, when we called the company the next day to say that we wanted to come and collect the car, we were told that the broker had cancelled the reservation and that they had no car available for us to rent.

We then asked for a refund. The man on the phone said that they had not yet received any money for our reservation and that the broker was to blame. But when we contacted the broker, we were told that the rental company had received the payment and that they were the ones who cancelled the reservation.

I do not recommend this company — they are dishonest and seem to take advantage of situations like this. They know very well that flights can sometimes be delayed. They did not even try to contact us or show any flexibility. Customer service was a disaster. We had plans that depended on having the car, and suddenly we found out that we would not get it at all. As a result, we faced significant extra costs, stress, and disappointment. Completely inhumane treatment.
