Excellent value
I have been with Gousto for about 5 years. It has been a life saver as my wife no longer finds cooking easy. I have learnt to cook through Gousto … the only effort needed is deciding the menu for the week. Like others there have been issues with delivery .. particularly EVRI who give virtually no warning of delivery time and Gousto responded helpfully by suggesting I changed delivery day. The quality has been consistently high, a couple of missing items in 5 years, a good choice of meals and helpful signposting of my favourites on the website. At 84 I would be sunk without Gousto and I have recommended them to friends in a similar situation. I think Gousto are doing a good job in trying to keep prices down and ifortions are slightly smaller then that is understandable. Considering how food prices have risen in 5 years I think Gousto remains exceptionally good vale for the prices charged.

We have been using Gousto for a while. Love the extent of their menus and find them good value for money and great for when coming home from work. Have tried meals I probably wouldn’t have otherwise. We have had a couple of issues with a missing ingredient, quality etc. however, these have been quickly dealt rectified with a credit.

Gone downhill
I used Gousto for a while and it was fine, just okay rather than good. Portion sizes had shrunk noticeably and they'd started charging extra for basics like adding chicken or fish, which added up fast given the box price was already high for what you got. Recipes also felt very repetitive after a while.
I had a few boxes where ingredients arrived mouldy after just a day. The worst experience was when a delivery went to completely the wrong building. When I asked for a replacement, I was told to just wait and hope it turned up by the morning, despite the box containing seafood. It never did, and instead of sending a replacement they just refunded me.
The convenience of not having to meal plan was genuinely the main reason I stuck with it for as long as I did, but the quality control and pricing issues eventually put me off for good. I no longer use them.

First time we have had an issue with our box, spoke to the helpdesk and it was resolved in minutes, normally a faultless service and the food is great value and very tasty! Definitely recommend to anyone!

Very Poor quality and experience
This was my first order . The recipes you cook yourself, were missing many key ingredients.
This was addressed and a refund was issued for these items . However the quality of meat , was appalling and did not even last to the use by date . The chicken was very bad smelling a day prior to date .
I also ordered a selection of ready meals . Again quality very poor , just felt like a budget product . Several of these just went in the bin . These were not refunded .
I have used many other companies, offering the same service, but with high end ingredients and at similar or lower costs . Do not recommend.

Delicious meals
Delicious meals. Made life so much easier. Put each meal in plastic boxes when they arrive and pull a box out of the fridge at teatime. No deciding what to cook, no measuring, no wasting food because you’ve bought products for one recipe.

Nothing but good things to say about this well managed and wonderful company. if there's ever a problem (rare) they fix it, generously and unreservedly, and the recipes are always great. i have used them for years. also makes a big difference to a terrible cook like me who would just eat non existent 'girl dinners' if it weren't for gousto.

Delivery company can’t follow delivery…
Delivery company can’t follow delivery instructions and 2 boxes out of 3 came damaged.
Ingredients too close to expiry date which means little freedom in what order you’d like to eat them.
A hold was put on the credit card for more than the value of my order.
It’s a great concept , some nice recipes but best enjoyed at the discounted price.
