It’s been so helpful having your company help us with the process to our global entry.

After I applied to extend my Global Entry membership, I was shocked to receive a phone call and an email from a .gov representative, offering to help and giving me specific instructions on how to properly submit my application. This person followed up twice! Three days later, GlobalEntry approved - - this is impressive and I thank you.

Absolutely awful customer service. I have request a refund 10x due to this basically being a scam and I have received no response. You can’t get anyone on the phones and when they do answer your email, they do not help you with what you need.

Technically, it is not a scam, but it is a massive rip off. They charge over $100 for a service that is free on the official government sight. They have manipulated search engine results to pop up first. Yes, they do have various disclaimers warning that they are not an official government site, but they can be easily overlooked and once an application is begun, there is no real explanation of what the fee that is being charged is for. So I paid over $100 dollars just for printable, filled-in forms which still have to be mailed to the government along with the actual application fee of $130. Thanks for nothing. It may be a legal business, but it sure is shady. By the way, there is a lovely warning on the official government site to be wary of these types of third-party companies. Hindsight...

While the site indicates that they are a third party in the small print, they do not indicate what their fees are for or how much you're paying. They do not take you to a receipt page when they process your payment. There is a download packet that contains the government form, but there is no receipt. If you're not vigilant, you may miss the fact that they charged you at all, until it's too late. They charged me $125+ to transcribe the information from their web form to the official form. This is clearly fraud. You still have to pay all of the DoS fees and Post Office fees. When I contacted GovSwift, they offered to reimburse me $30, then $65. When I demanded full reimbursement and threatened to report fraud to the Better Business Bureau, they have indicated that they are processing the full refund. As best I can tell, the only service they provide is to transcribe information captured on their web-form to the official DoS form FOR $125! They have intentionally made their site look like an official site, including "gov" in the site url.
UPDATE: I did not provide my name. The application was for my daughter. If Govswift sent me a reply and it went to her email, hopefully, she was smart enough to delete it. I have received tons of SPAM from Govswift since. If their email went to my address, I probably deleted it with all of the SPAM.
Folks, if you're here, it's because you've gotten screwed over by this "company" or you're suspicious. I'm recommending you stay suspicious. Initially, you just think you're on the government site, then they want your credit card, but then you get a download package. The download package does not include a receipt. The website doesn't give you one. You have no indication you've been charged until you get hit with a pending transaction on your credit card. You will still be required to pay the fees when you GO TO THE POST OFFICE with their packet (or the one you fill out from the Dept of State website). I asked the customer service rep how they could justify charging a $125 fee, and they couldn't answer me. I already reached out to their support team. I threatened them, and they refunded my money. I'm not unhappy about my situation's resolution. I'm not a victim. I caught them in their scam, and they rolled over vice face more serious consequences. These are dishonest scumbags targeting the vulnerable.

One thing I find as a 75 yr old, your website is understanding. When I had a question, your person Sheila very helpful. Send me easy links to navigate and was able to move me from Manhattan to Jamaica.
All systems should be this accommodating.

I called the customer service number and was very pleased with the guidance and patients that Jennifer gave me to straighten out the problem I was having with global entry. I thank you very much

Update: After writing this review the company reached out to me and I was offered a refund with the hopes of me revising my original review. The website might not be actually scamming people but it is still very misleading and they definitely still charge an outrageous amount of money for something that is completely free if you go straight to the .gov website. Also if you need help filling out the forms please call the government passport office directly, they are extremely helpful.
Original review: This website is a complete scam. They make you think you are paying for your passport when, in reality, you are paying to get forms you could get for free from the government's website. Unfortunately, this was the first result on a Google search, so I didn't even realize it wasn't an official US Government site. They charge over $100 just for the forms. Absolutely ridiculous.

Although it states they are not affiliated with the government - everything makes it appear they are an official site.
After they get your financial information it is too late to realize that you still need to pay for the renewal application, their fee is just to "help" you.

SCAM...Not a US goverment site for passport renewal...very misleading...made the process harder than actually going to travel.state.gov. Charged $111.12 cents for something that takes less than 10 minutes to do online for no charge.

My agent was an angel! She could not have been more patient or kind. She was most pleasant and extremely patient!
She was very nice!!!

Scam. Not government related. Chase blocked charge. Trustpilot should be ashamed to be tricked into giving high rating. Google AI confirms this site charges you for what the government gives for free.

I was disappointed in the charge of $100 for forms that are free on the US government website. While there is fine print on the initial screen I landed on, it was unclear to me that this is not a government website. Also, very sensitive information was requested that is not part of a passport application.
Follow up: The customer service team did a great job of resolving this. They deleted my data and provided a refund. There were prompt and had excellent follow through.

This is not the government's site! Your money in not going towards renewing your passport but towards filling out a form you can get for free!!! Be warned. You will be paying twice as much to get or renew your passport!

Reply from Govswift
They charge you over $100 to fill out forms that are available for free on the actual government website. That money does not go towards the passport renewal fee. Plus they add a step to the process because you can actually renew your passport online; they send you a PDF to mail in. They need to take "gov" out of their name since they are not affiliated with the government; they are intentionally misleading.

Reply from Govswift
SCAMMERS! They disguise themselves as a government website. You pay $104 for a filled out passport application that you can now take to the US Department of State and pay $130 to get your passport.
BEWARE!!!

Govswift is a SCAM! I believed when I sent Govswift $192, I was applying for a passport. What I received for my money was a .PDF file with a passport application filled in and an Address label for where to apply with the post office. I would still need to send $130 dollars in with the application. It is a TRUE rip-off.

Called this company's customer service and spoke to Jeffrey. Actually, I have tried numerous times to get in touch with anybody in the customer service but to no avail, they're always busy, and never received a call back. But today, just my luck, I've spoken to Jeffrey when I called again and provided me with answers to my questions. He was very pleasant to talk to and actually served my needs. I wish I had spoken or made contact with him earlier or in the past. Thanks so much Jeffrey...03/26/2026
