We had a fantastic experience working with Molli who was quick to respond, helpful, answered our questions and helped us quickly find a place we love in Salford. We could not recommend them more given our wonderful experience in finding a new home.
Mostly happy with service & Constructive feedback
Ida in Windlass has provided a great service, I believe she is a great listener, very friendly, professional, and provided a great response to an immediate query. My partner and I have been in Windlass for years now, we feel appreciative for the actions the various teams are doing, the friendliness and kindness in service, we feel we really enjoy the location and facilities.
We have seen the company improve in some aspects through the years, which we feel we appreciate, however I think some constructive feedback is about wear and tear repairs for long-term residents and improving or building new systems to respond to same facilities being used by more residents, such as the gym.

Maisie from lettings was great and of course, rest of the team from lettings & residence services were very helpful.

Since we moved from Austria to Bristol and were looking for something flexible, Grainger was just right for us. It's well equipped and we had everything we needed. The team, especially Maisie W., supported us very well. When we moved from Millwrights Place to Glasshouse, Maisie knew exactly which flats she could show us and which ones would suit us. The whole team welcomed us very warmly and immediately helped us with any questions or problems in the
flat.

I recently had a very positive experience with Grainger PLC while searching for an apartment at the Barnum Building in Nottingham.
In particular, I’d like to highlight Saleena, who was available at very short notice and went above and beyond to help me. She was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout the process. Despite my limited timeframe to move, she made everything feel straightforward and stress-free.
The only downside to my experience was that some other members of staff were very difficult to reach and appeared unavailable most of the time. Additionally, my name was initially not added to the waiting list, which unfortunately resulted in a loss of valuable time.
Overall, despite these issues, my experience was made positive thanks to Saleena’s professionalism and dedication, and I appreciate the support she provided during a time-sensitive move.

absolutely no interest in behaving legally, ethically or kindly. will refuse to fix obvious issues then kick you out because the property needs renovation with no sign of your deposit. cruel, sketchy and without any humanity or even basic professionalism. greed upon greed.

It is the third year I live in Clipper…
It is the third year I live in Clipper Quay in Salford, witnessing the deteriorating serivce of Grainger.
We reported the problem of maggot on the ceiling in early October 2025. A staff (a female) came and said that it is due to the food on the floor. It is so non sense because all the food there are unopened soft drink and sealed snacks. And no maggots can be found around any food at all. They are found on the ceiling and wall.
There is no follow up until we are renewing our tenancy in mid October. The senior staff (a male) sent an email, saying "there have been concerns regarding improper waste disposal ans storage of food within your apartment" and "(the renewal) ...has been on hold for the time being"
I immediately made an objection on his incorrect comment and wrote an email to "feedback graingerplc co uk" to complain the dishonesty of their staff. She lied, made up fake report to her senior and just tried to blame us. They just do not want to take any responsibility re the maggot problem.
Grainger ignore our complaint completely. And I complained directly at the reception desk, re that staff's dishonesty and made up fake story. Still no response from Grainger.
In November, the senior staff (the male) told us the tenancy will not be renewed.
Really nonsense.

I’ve lived in my flat for 8 years and loved it, the handyman helped me find a amazing bigger flat he’s so lovely and kind and helpful with everything we always need he always make sure everything’s fixed straight away extremely talented our landlady has helped so much with my new flat making it a lovey home that’s perfect for us she’s helped with everythig she can with my health and safety with my disability and she’s the loveliest woman ever always gets everything sorted after 8 years of living here I plan to stay again for a lot longer due to how helpful and lovely this company and landlady are

A complete waste of time. Shown properties, ghosted right after, then told they’re gone every time. Slow replies, carelessness, constant disappointment. If you want to be strung along for days, frustrated, and time wasted, use this agency. Absolute joke.

Friendly While You Rent — But Expect Problems (and Extra Charges) When You Leave
When you first move in, everything feels smooth. The staff are friendly, respectful, and helpful during your tenancy. Unfortunately, the story changes when you decide to leave.
When I moved out, problems began. First, they seemed determined to charge as much as possible, not based on real bills or fair assessment. For example, there was a very low-quality table in my flat — so poor that even placing a plate on it would remove the colour. Yet during check-out, they described it as “one of the highest quality” and tried to hold me responsible for its condition. It felt like they wanted to replace it with another low-quality table and present it to the next tenant as “new.”
Because I purchased my own home, I left before my tenancy ended and ended up paying nearly two months’ extra rent. From the tone of the letter I received from management, it was clear they were not happy I left early. The letter felt more threatening than professional.
Another bad experience was with parking. I informed reception that I had bought a car, but a week later I received two £100 fines for “illegally using” one of their spaces. I had already told them about the car, so this clearly came down to poor communication in their own team — but I was still issued the fines.
In short: during your stay, the staff are polite. But when you leave, be prepared for extra charges, poor communication, and an approach that feels more about extracting money than treating tenants fairly. In Ireland, my renting experience was far better — this was unfortunately my only UK renting experience, and it was not a positive one.
