Poor After-sales Care

I agree with previous poor reviews.
Getting hold of the warranty team is very difficult, previous issues have been sorted quickly, recently however the service is appalling, I have had to contact the manufacturer of my caravan directly.
The telephone service does not appear to be working.

Poor warranty Department

Sales department and shop obviously give a good service, wait until you have a warranty problem it's another matter, no reply to emails or phone calls.

Poor after sales


We bought a motorhome in 2025, and while the sales team were lovely and welcoming, our experience quickly became frustrating due to a lack of transparency and poor aftercare.
Some key details about the vehicle were not disclosed at the point of sale. For example, the previous owner had replaced the media system with one that didn’t include sat nav, which we only discovered later. The rear-view camera also didn’t work initially. Although it was repaired, the quality remained very poor, and we were told that Bailey rear-view cameras are “notoriously poor,” so no further action would be taken.
On our first trip to Spain, things took a turn for the worse. When opening the midi Heki roof light, it literally fell off in my hands. It was clear the unit had been previously damaged and had been poorly glued along the hinge. Photos supported this, yet when we raised a claim, we were told it must have been caused by leaving it open and it being hit—something we absolutely did not do.
As a result, our entire six-week holiday was spent without a functioning roof light. This was not only inconvenient but also stressful, especially in bad weather. We had to improvise by climbing onto the roof and covering the opening with plastic sheeting to prevent rain from getting in.
Granthams ordered a replacement part in September 2025, but by March 2026 it still hadn’t arrived. While we understand supply delays can happen, over six months was ridiculous and more could have been done to source the part elsewhere. In the meantime, despite our best efforts to seal the gap, we experienced ongoing leaks which led to soaked carpets and further frustration. In the end, we sourced the part ourselves from another dealer, and it arrived within two weeks.
The warranty was extremely disappointing and felt virtually worthless. Every possible reason was used to avoid paying out, and it was frankly insulting to be told we had caused the roof light damage when it was clearly pre-existing and should have been identified before sale.
That said, Sheila in aftersales was always polite, helpful, and understanding of the situation, though it was clear her ability to assist was limited.
We do now have a lovely motorhome, but based on our experience, particularly with aftercare and warranty support, we would not choose to buy from Granthams again.

This is my second accessory purchase…

This is my second accessory purchase from this store, and again Im really happy with the service and product I received. The guy in the accessory dept is very helpful, friendly and did what he said he would do. Would have no hesitation in buying accessories again from them.

We had an excellent service from our…

We had an excellent service from our sales rep Andy at the Grantham base. He was extremely professional, kept in touch on a regular basis with updates on our caravan exchange for a new coachman and made us feel very confident in the sale. Andy even booked us into a local site free of charge on the day that we picked our van up because he knew we had a long journey home. Our dog Barney was also well taken care off with regular treats during the paperwork completion. I would highly recommend him if you want stress free sale with an expert in his field. Andy is a credit to the company. Thank you.

Caravan, Sale or Return'.

We have always taken our Caravan to Grantham's in Retford for service and repair and received great service from all the team there.
When we decided to sell our caravan, Grantham informed us that they have now started to operate a ' sale or return' policy. The caravan was sold within 2 weeks. The price we got from Grantham's was very competitive and a lot higher than we could have got as a trade in. Yet again and not surprisingly, great service, friendly, polite and informative. Cannot thank them enough

Grantham's After sales Department is…

Grantham's After sales Department is exactly as another reviewer has said - NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
To not have a telephone service, and to force customers to contact via online only is suspiciously slippery. Then when emails are not even responded to - is just appalling!
Granthams CEO - where are you? Why aren't you addressing this shoddy service? I'm clearly not the only customer who is frustrated and upset by this and you don't seem to care!

The website was simple to use and my order was out for delivery the next day

Top Class Annual Service
