US Wellness Meats’ Beef Tallow (sometimes known as lard) uses a propriety blend of rendered beef suet and beef fats. It is naturally pure white to light yellow in color and has omega 6:3 ratios which are similar to fish.
When comparing fats for cooking and consumption, remember; all fats are not created equal. Conjugated Linoleic Acid or (CLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid (naturally occurring trans fat) found primarily in Beef and Dairy. Studies have shown these fats may provide a whole host of health benefits. These are very different from the trans fats found in manufactured hydrogenated vegetable oils which have been linked to inflammation and obesity.

It's the only site I can find this product and can afford it. I believe in the natural fats, rather than seed oils, because that is what I was raised on. I use this as any cook would use it, especially for braising beef, and/or vegetables that will be served with beef. It's very tasty and digestible.
