I got the strimmer in August 25 ready…

I got the strimmer in August 25 ready for doing the garden I have used it approx 4 times and then it stopped working, I emailed customer services on 16th April who were initially quick to respond, asked for a video of what the problem which was duly sent and an email received saying they would pass it to an engineer, since then dispute several emails I have heard nothing since.
Good product when it was working, but badly let down by after sales support despite them saying that their customers are important to them, only way of communication is email so your left in limbo, just had to go and buy another strimmer, £58 Titan from Screwfix, at least you have a store to go to if there is a problem..
Give Geengoo / Lawnora a very wide birth I would have given 0 star rating if I could have done. £128 down the drain with no chance of getting it back

Appalling service

Appalling service. Spent over £200 on a mower and it was broken upon delivery. There email responses are very poor English. I have sent photos. They won’t let me send it back or give me my money back. I wish I had read the trustpilot reviews. I can’t even award one star

Extremely Dangerous Product and No Real Customer Service

I bought a hedge trimmer (chain saw style cutter) from Greengoo and it turned out to be extremely dangerous.

The safety feature does not work properly. It is meant to only turn on when you use two hands, but it works with just one hand on the trigger. This is a serious safety fault.

Because of this, my dad took it to a friend who fixes things to look at the problem. While handling it, the machine turned on with only one hand and caused a deep cut. He had to be taken to hospital. He now cannot feel one of his fingers and has been told he will not be able to properly use his hands for around three months. He is lucky he should recover fully, but he cannot work during this time.

The product also arrived badly packaged in a thin cardboard box with no protection inside, and the blade was pushing through the box when it arrived.

When I contacted Greengoo, I kept getting what looked like AI or copy and paste responses. They told me this was “normal” and just said to use it with caution. They only offered 3 percent or 5 percent compensation for a product that is clearly unsafe and has already caused a serious injury.

They refused to give me a proper refund. I only got my money back after opening a dispute with my bank.

This company sells unsafe products and does not take responsibility when something goes wrong. Please be very careful before buying from Greengoo. This could seriously hurt someone.

WARNING! Take heed of my terrible experience with GreenGoo


• Never again will I purchase anything from GreenGoo. Their customer service is appalling, and they stung me for £50.
• I ordered the wrong strimmer in error and cancelled it within minutes. GreenGoo failed to cancel my order as I instructed. They dispatched the strimmer 2 days after the order had been cancelled.
• They then instructed me by email to refuse delivery of the strimmer. I refused delivery of the strimmer as GreenGoo instructed. The strimmer was returned to GreenGoo.
• GreenGoo did not inform me that refusal to accept delivery would incur a charge of £50. I sent 14 emails which I don't believe were read by a human as I just got very unhelpful automated replies. GreenGoo cannot be contacted by phone and they would not phone me. Their customer service is shockingly bad.
• They refused to refund my £50.

SCAM COMPANY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!.

Do not believe what they claim!

For start, assembling was a problem for me - fixing the protective dust cover to the machine head by two screws - it is simple enough but the ready-made screw holes are inaccurate, therefore, the screws did not go in securely, and the same for securing of the grass pushing frame to the machine; Safety & Quality in question despite of cleared GB/EU standard. Customer Service's response ( I suspect it was AI not from a human?) was unhelpful - One word "Video"!?? It was my fault but I did not realise it was made in China until I read it on the delivery carbon box. Transparency - No. Very interestingly, on their website, Trustpilot review score is 4.5?? and this product is the top of 3 best grass trimmers - it was supposed to be rated by the third party?? The only problem, it says is being out of stock because its popularity and customer satisfaction?? I would say that the only good thing about is lightness and battery longevity.

DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Purchased the strimmer plus an additional battery earlier this year. Despite the strimmer only been used on several occasions the unit now only runs for a few seconds then stops. Upon contacting Greengoo, they requested videos of the occurring problem to identify the fault(s). This I duly did, too which they advised I purchased replacement equipment as the strimmer was over six months old. This company are an absolute farce. DO NOT waste your money and purchase a suitable product directly from a reputable accessible dealer in the UK who has reliable aftersales support and product warranties

I was looking for a good strimmer I found greengoo

I was looking for a good strimmer and seen the greengoo one at 9.8 score, so I bought it.
When I got the strimmer I charged up the battery left it to the next day to use it and the battery drained to 95% . After only about two minutes if that. It went down to 87% plus it looked like it was going to start breaking and burning.
I stopped using it after that.
When I tried to contact the company in the UK, I sent three messages asking how do I start a return/refund.
All I got back was the same message three times asking if I want to order more batteries and no other inquiry About starting a refund also on their website page you can not start any type of refund because there is non.
This is a scam and a very good one at that because they send you rubbish and you are out of money.

I have recently purchased a battery powered hedge trimmer from Greengoo after had a glowing report from an online reviewing website. Unfortunately when the product arrived it was extremely poor quality and construction. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!

The only emails that differ from that are those that ask for an address which is given on the order. They aren't sure what was ordered. Ordered a strimmer and a hedge trimmer and they want me to confirm I ordered a hedge trimmer and lawn mower. They offered a 10% discount because I held back on buying the strimmer. When I checked out the 10% discount was not given. There is no telephone available to call and the support email is useless. I bought these because they received a 9.8 review against other strimmers in the market. Clearly the reviewer didn't purchase the reveiwed item.

What a nightmare!

Firstly I would have given a zero star if it was available. I ordered a hedge trimmer a few weeks ago, everything seemed OK when i had an Email from the courier (Evri) to say the parcel would be delivered that day from my nominated premier shop and they would let me know when it's ready for collection. I had the same Email for the next 3 days,with Evri finally saying saying they had lost the parcel. I contacted Greengoo through their customer Email service only to be met with the AI generated robot by the name of Arian. Every corresponding Email from my Emails was met with the reply that I had rejected the parcel and it was returned to the supplier. I've Email AI Ariana to give me a total refund and keep the parcel and guess what, the same reply, it was me who rejected the parcel. Im really getting nowhere. Please don't use this company. I'm sure there are people who have been satisfied with their purchases but don't take the chance. Its now Been 4 months and I have still not received a refund or hedge trimmer. I claimed my £138 from my credit card company. Let's hope they get it from GreenGoo. Please stay away from this company they really are a poor company to deal with.

Dreadful Experience

Dreadful company, bought a garden hose that was reviewed and recommended by Mark Wolfe on Consumerpilot.org and it is absolute garbage. Water pissing out of it on first use, only out the packaging for 20 minutes. Complained to Green Goo and as per their terms and conditions requested a return using a courier pick up service they supposedly provide, All I've received are AI generated responses from a bot, same response email received seven times telling me to purchase an inner tube as the "sun" must have damaged the garden hose..... I don't think so, it was out the packaging for no more than 20 minutes.

Absolute scam company, do NOT purchase from them. Have raised with my credit card company.

Bad gardening equipment

Bought a strimmer from them.was told by a friend to read reviews about them in trustpilot.contacted them
The day after I purchased it.There answer was.Sorry I couldn’t cancel as it had already been posted.
Strimmer arrived an I thought I will use it.Very good the first few cuts then the motor starts to smoke.
Notified Them there answer send a video.They shouldn’t be allowed to trade in the UK Bandits.

scammers

I ordered a hedge trimmer - advertised as free world wide delivery - despatch e mail came and then we cannot deliver to your location - Northern Ireland - refund given minus £20.70 - queried and told they had to pay the despatchers - - what happened to free world wide delivery - and why do I have to pay for something which could not be delivered - total rip off !

No delivery - no refund

Ordered the cordless hedge trimmer beginning of May 2025 still not arrived. Followed all the processes through Evri - declared the parcel lost. Contacted Greengoo support several times for a refund and got an automatic response - still no hedge trimmer or refund!!

Disgusting after-sales service

I bought a hedge trimmer. I purchased as a gift but it was not suitable. In addition, the quality of the equipment was poor. It is not out of the box yet.

I made contact to return but the reply was less than helpful and frankly obstructive. The company is making it extremely difficult . They are insisting the product must be returned to China. I don’t believe the product was shipped from China as it arrived within 2 days.
This is not the standard one expects from purchasing goods in the UK.
** I have since read other similar reviews. Unbelievably awful company and should be shut down ****

I need to explain that returns are a hassle.
Please note:
1. You need to return the product to China yourself and bear the return shipping cost;
2. After the return is successful, we need to deduct the relevant tariffs and a 15% return fee;
3. If the product is damaged during the return process, it will not be returned.
4. The return policy stipulates that the return address must be provided by us.
Our return address is not the address on the package, we only accept the return address we provide; if you return the package to any other address than the address we provide, we will not be able to receive the package, and at that time, all losses will be borne by the buyer .

If you want a full refund, you will need to return the item and pay shipping costs, as well as customs duties. Returning items from your location to China will cost a lot of money and time.
In this case, how about we refund you 3% of the order and you don't return the package? You can leave items there as gifts for your friends or family.
