Glyn not only treated our lawns but also I much valued the time he took to give of his knowledge and expertise in advising me how I can do my bit in caring for the lawns between the Green Thumb visits.

We have just had Robbie from the Borders branch to scarify and aerate the grass. I give this review 5 stars due to the care and attention to detail he gave. Nothing rushed, took his time and did a very thorough job, a “can do” person which seems to be rare nowadays. Robbie knew his job and made various recommendations which were actioned, let’s hope he stays around.

Just so many emails about extra jobs you can do but no date for next treatment that is due. I have had an almost weed free lawn for 25 years you have looked after it for over 15 but there are now many weeds that are in urgent treatment. Your programme of treatments used to be made more regularly. Therefore such a situation as at present did not get out of hand

Your operative was polite and knew what was needed. All round a very good experience.

Dan was extremely cheerful & polite. He did an excellent job on the windows -very professional & took the trouble to explain how he had dealt with a couple of issues that he could easily just have left. All in all he was a pleasure to have about & is a credit to the firm.

Had my Green Thumb visit today, Rob Green carried out the treatment promptly and thoroughly, very friendly guy always with good advice and information.

The lawn isn't one to be proud of and wouldn't appear in any Green Thumb magazine as a showpiece, maybe only as a 'before'. I'm not really sure why I persist after 12 years. The lawn was reseeded when I first moved in but has rarely looked like a lawn should. After the latest scarification it's obvious to merge basis structure if the lawn doesn't exist. Perhaps its time I reconsider comtinuing the'programme'.

Very attentive to my problem with my poor quality lawn. After it was given the full package of lawn restoration treatments it was still not back to normal but GreenThumb returned 3 times to help rectify it at no cost to me. Mr Dan Gregory the last operative to attend was especially thorough and virtually repeated the whole full package again which was commendable.

Had second scarification done which was totally unnecessary as it was later found to be leather jackets causing the problem . You are the experts so, why was it diagnosed on your first visit?

Have been using Green Thumb for 4 years now. Grass is full of weeds and moss. Treatments are done at the wrong time of year. Will be cancelling shortly.

I've used GT for 25 years or more and my lawn is OK, not fantastic, but acceptable. In recent times, they have become a pain to co-ordinate. They keep giving me one days notice of treatment even though I've complained twice about it and been assured it will not happen again. You are not supposed to cut the lawn for three days before so how can they even consider one days notice? They also cancelled my account unilaterally but still continued taking the Direct Debit. Drinking parties and breweries come to mind. They are also upselling constantlyand have become expensive. Might cancel my account.

Courteous, thorough and caring

The service is highly reliable. The product seems to be less effective than it was in the past.

Green Thumb are incapable of booking a consultation when you speak with them.
They can only text you a date which you then have to call them to rearrange.
Having done this several times so that I finally had a date that was convenient they didn’t turn up and I have heard nothing since.
If they are this awful to deal with before signing up for there services I certainly will be staying well clear

The products used seem to work very well but maybe more time taken to distribute/spread it. Overall I have know complaints just an observation.

Since joining Green Thumb I have found the experience, informative, supportive and very positive. The outcome is literally growing before me. They have proven to be a punctual, dedicated team with expert knowledge and skills that they are more than happy to share. Very professional and I am very pleased with the results. Thank you.

I have had a number of treatments from GreenThumb and it is never disappointing. The service received from Glyn Hargreaves today went above and beyond. He gave me tips and advice and thoroughly explained all the procedure and expectations of the treatments. His knowledge was second to none and is genuinely passionate about his work for this Company. I was so impressed and very often folk complain and forget to give credit when it is deserved. I cannot recommend him more highly.
