Cant thank Greers Gears enough. My son Lewy was taught by Fiona and passed this week🚗😁..... Fiona was great with Lewy, flexible with lessons as he is at college and works part-time.

Passed my test of 5th September with Chris but still struggled with parking between 2 cars I got so paranoid about hitting the car, so today Chris took me out looking for spaces to park between 2 cars I now feel more confident. Talk about good after care couldn't ask for better. Greers Gears is second to none nothing is a bother whether you have passed your test or not amazing Team ❤️❤️

An excellent experience from start to finish. From contacting Chris and explaining our circumstances and taking his advice we travelled from Surrey to do a one week intensive course and test. Any nerves my daughter had were immediately laid to rest. Chris was a true professional , his knowledge, enthusiasm and communication skills were second to none. After the first drive my daughters confidence grew and this continued throughout the week resulting in a pass. I would endorse Greers Gears Driving School 100%.

Chris was an excellent instructor who took the time to make sure I understood everything he was telling me, I felt at ease in the car with him and he is very knowledgeable and has some good chat! Angela and Fiona were covering my test and pre-test lessons as Chris was away but they were also excellent instructors who also took the time to explain and ensure I understood what I was doing! I wouldn’t have passed without all of you and not forgetting Trisha who went above and beyond to get me a car and instructor for my test! Thanks guys, I couldn’t have done it without you!

Chris Greer guided me to my first driving test in 50 years, about which I was understandably nervous! He tailored precisely the right course for my needs, quickly identified all my weaknesses and bad habits that needed attention, and sorted them out in a highly professional manner. Under his instruction I passed the test first go. Well done; I would recommend him to anybody.

Used Greers to hire a replacement tuition car when mine developed a fault. Process was seamless and was able to keep my business going with minimal disruption. Chris even delivered the car to my home. Great service, the pupils all liked the car and price was reasonable. I’d recommend Greer’s gears if you are an instructor in need of a hire car.

I went for a intense course and im so happy i chose greer's gears, Chris my instructor was brilliant, patient, friendly, and gave me the confidence to drive, honestly 100% would recommend to anyone, and Trisha in the office was fantastic when going to book it all, she was very helpful, explaining what apps to use.

Greers Gears came to my rescue when my driving school car broke down! I needed a replacement car quickly, and for a week, to get pupils used to the new car, before sitting their tests in it in a few days time!! Chris was on hand, had the car ready (he was even prepared to travel across Scotland, or meet me half way to hand it over), and I had it to start work the very next day. I’d recommend Greers Gears to any driving instructor, as a back up if their school car is off the road. Thanks Chris!!

If I could give ten stars I would 🤩Chris has been fantastic with Finlay from day one 👏Finlay has felt totally at easy with Chris and gained confidence in himself . Trisha also has went above and beyond to help with all the hurdles put in front of Finlay. Great big thank you guy’s ❤️

I was 17 when I decided to started to learn to drive and I didn’t got on very well with a different instructor. During this time I took a break and went to university. At this point I never touched a car until I was 24. I then started to learn with Chris and it was a fantastic experience. He helped solve my nerves and really improved my driving! I passed second time with the help of Chris and his new instructor Angela. I had some scheduling conflicts on my side, which Chris and Trisha quickly solved and allowed me to continue my learning. At this point Angela joined and taught me as well. Angela gave me experience with petrol cars and Chris with diesels. This allowed me to get a tone of experience with different cars and really understand how to drive them. Incredibly valuable experience and really helped with clutch control. I couldn’t have asked for better instructors, really good at challenging me the appropriate amount that made me feel safe but also pushed me forward.

I was recommended Greers Gears from a family friend and can’t recommend him enough! I booked in an intensive block of lessons over a month and managed a first time pass! As a nervous driver, Chris was patient and encouraging. Chris and Trisha were a great help throughout the month and as I did not end up using all the lessons I had booked, got a refund for the unused hours. Would definitely recommend!

Chris is some guy - helpful, supportive and understanding. I took some intense lessons over a few weeks in the lead up to passing my test. Chris gave me some great tips and recognised some habits that I hadn't noticed before. He was also really good at spotting my anxiety about driving and did all the right things to get e in a good place.

I was also really impressed with how well set up Chris's Cars were - he's made the cars into new driver machines with lots of extra features, labelling and help. That made a huge difference and was something I've never seen with any other instructor.

If you are new to driving or anxious about driving I would especially recommend Chris.

I started learning to drive at a later age than most, and found it a big challenge at first. Chris was a patient, thoughtful, committed and enthusiastic teacher, who gave me lots of encouragement, but was also clear and specific about my mistakes and how to fix them. Greer’s Gears worked really hard for me, got me through my test successfully and I can’t recommend them highly enough!
