Morrisons started life as a bustling egg, milk and butter market stall in Yorkshire back in 1899 – firmly planting its roots as a fresh-focused grocer with an appetite for providing quality and value on the same plate. Now, with 491 stores as well as a fast-growing online shopping service at Morrisons.com the business continues to focus on delivering freshness and quality to millions of customers across the UK - wherever they want to shop for their groceries. Foodmakers and shopkeepers at heart, we have over 9,000 trained butchers, bakers, fishmongers, cheesemongers and other skilled in-store specialists making more food in store than any other retailer. Morrisons is also the only British supermarket to have its own sites making meat, fruit & veg, fish, bakery and fresh food products – and is unique in preparing and making more than half of the fresh food sold in our stores.

Trying to get a bag at self service is like arranging contact with a Russian spy .
You approach the tills , the keeper of bags then decides to wander off , you scan your items , then have to wait for the bag keeper to come back from halfway down the store….. just leave the bags at the tillls Morrisons!!!! And btw this is every bloody time not just a one off

Morrisons High Steet, Brotton. Whats going on here. Staff acting weird. Customers do not feel welcome in their local store.
Terrible customer service. The local morrisons staff hide behind shelves and watch customers. The shop is only small as well. Locals dont feel trusted. The staff have been there years. Can you not change all of the staff or close the store down. Why should the local customers have to put up with this or take their custom elsewhere. Its a local shop for the locals for gods sake.

Morrison's supermarket corby.
Complaint being stopped like a common thieve.Leaving the store on.19/12/24. Being contacting them now since this date, they couldn't care less. No respect for their customers and never contact me properly. Sent them so many emails and they've written to me.They're going to look into it since the date.No one's looked in after anything. I'm not sure why they're in business. And why they treat their customers so badly. It is now being taken a lot further, as they can't deal with it.In a business manner and professional manner, disgusting bunch.
Charles Barrie.

Got Morrison's NOW delivery and like all mentioning it is far from NOW. Overpriced for the luxury as they inflate prices for this service. The substitutes provided ridiculous but what can you expect for such a shocking supermarket that is in some much trouble. It was an emergency shop but will certainly be back to TESCO and Sainsburys for a delivery. Can see now had bad Morrison's have become and doubt it will survive given is over priced shocking prices.
Lesson learnt to shop elsewhere. And no before you copy and paste your generic replies I don't want to be engaging with your trustpilot team or customer services that is not based in the united kingdom because of cuts made to this company.

Raised a complaint with Morrisons ref.48910017 about the 25th April heard nothing back except an automated message on trustpilot, they totally ignore reading the actual complaint on trustpilot, again I have not been contacted since.
Yet again they have one of the worst customer services that fail to react to complaints, they will now send another automated reply to this asking for more information without actually telling me who to contact,or it will say we will be in contact.... Watch this space

I wanted to buy flowers but the choice was very poor. There was hardly anything to choose from and most were half dead and reduced. There were some pretty spring bouquets but the sell by date was yesterday. I asked if they could be reduced and had to go through three people before a manager said as they were out of date they couldn't sell them. I asked if I could have them for free then and was told no I could buy them at a discount but I wasn't told what the discount was until I got to the till. I asked how would the cashier know how much to reduce them by and was told "we are all on headsets". I went to the tills where there were huge queues and thought why should I be charged for out of date flowers. Wouldn't it have been a lovely gesture and excellent customer service to allow me to have them as they had already said they can't sell them. Inthe end I let the flowers and the shop feeling unsatisfied. Well done Morrisons.

Last 2 orders from Morrisons were bad from 2 separate stores to separate places. 1 delivered just in the time slot but the groceries must have been left outside as arrived sodden meaning some items totally unusable and should never even have been delivered like it. The other was late but was informed of it but was promised a call by the store and customer service of when it would arrive. Neither did. When it did arrive some items were covered in milk that had leaked. I spoke to 3 people in customer service none seemed to care and none were sincere over the issues. Such a shame I once worked for them and I know in the stores there are people that have worked there for years and are lovely

We purchased a cutlery set called nutmeg and the quality was so poor that a sharp edged spoon cut my adult daughter's mouth. We returned the set to our local Morrison's and it was exchanged for a completely different set. I checked online a few days later to see if this cutlery set had been recalled as it could injure other people and it hadn't been recalled. I contacted Morrisons customer care department and explained the situation to them. They asked for the receipt, the barcode and any proof of my daughter seeking medical attention. I told them that I didn't have the receipt or the barcode and my daughter didn't need medical attention. I provided them with the link from their own website for the cutlery set so they could establish which set it was. They continue to say that they can't do anything because I can't provide them with the information that they need. It seems as though customers safety is of no concern to them and they just want to cover their backs. I am not interested in any compensation. All I want is some reassurance that they will investigate. They refuse to do this and neither will they get a manager to ring me which I have been asking them to do for over a month now.

Morrisons prices took a big jump when the new owners took possession. The increases occurred in addition to the COVID Hike.
As a result i have tried to steer clear of Morrisons. However, while on a trip to Scotland I found that the main supermarket was Morrisons. It is still pricey compared to other supermarkets but what really got my goat was their pricing for bags. 40p for a paper bag and 60p for a polly bag. These weren’t bags for life, they were low quality get you home bags. Another reason not to use Morrisons or if there is no choice, take your own bag(s) with you.

I purchased a turkey in December for Christmas Day and went to cook it the night before as I always do. When I took the turkey out the bag I noticed the bird had a hole in the skin when I investigated further I found what can only be described as a growth underneath the skin. I won’t say what I pulled out but I took pictures and put the bird in the bin. After the festive season I contacted Morrisons with all the pictures to find out what it was that I had found. I got the standard reply you get saying someone will contact me which they did asking for more evidence which I replied to then after a month after no correspondence I emailed them again to see if there was any updates which they replied that they had been in contact with there supplier and waiting for them to get back in touch. Another month went by no updates so I contacted them again asking for updates and again they sent the same email back we are waiting to hear back from the supplier. It is now may 26 and I’m still waiting for them to get back in touch I’ve emailed them today for any updates. 6 months to sort a problem is absolutely unacceptable

I have had two consecutive poor experiences at two different Morrisons Café locations, which suggests a wider issue with their standards rather than an isolated incident.
I submitted feedback and even raised a formal complaint (with proof of purchase) multiple times through their “Ask David” email address, yet received no response whatsoever — even though two months have passed since then.
I called customer service, who confirmed that the Ask David team is based OFFSHORE, but they have no connection with them and therefore cannot follow up on complaints or take any action.
It seems like a NON-managed operation, staffed by people who appear to do nothing while still collecting their paycheques at the end of the month.
Their email inbox is clearly not monitored, and the central customer service number offers NO option to speak to anyone from that department.
I have reported the matter to Trading Standards.

Popped into Morrisons at Skipton this evening and I thought I’d walked into the Gaza Strip fridge doors missing freezer door smashed and missing .. how’s the food staying at the temp required. Boxes on the floor empty even staff walking past mess on the floor .. haven’t been for a while and I’ll definitely won’t be going again .. we worked hard for our money and we shop in slums whilst the owners live in their mansions

I entered Morrisons at North Road Darlington on the 30th April 2026 at 12:15 with the intention of purchasing a bottle of 3 Barrels Brandy, on offer at £20.
But, alas the cupboard was bare, so I started looking for Old Mother Hubbard. However, I found a nice lady called Ilona who scuttled off to procure, for me, the said item.
However, when she returned, she had to say that, even the bigger cupboard was also bereft of the said item.
As I was leaving the store, somewhat dispirited, I was accosted by Carol, all booted and suited, who asked about my shopping experience, I explained the situation, adding it was a form of rationing to have
0empty 1 litre slots, but plenty of .7litre slots at an extra cost. I remember rationing during the War and didn't like it.
Where upon, she made me an offer I could not refuse, which solved my predicament and I left the Store highly satisfied and impressed by the way Carol had solved the problem.
I found she had empathy listening, calmly, to my grievance and sorting it out. This is a Lady of action and not for turning. Thank you Carol.
I withhold the mechanics of the deal to protect those involved.

Not as much as a complaint but can yous stop selling full boxes of Pokémon cards to scalpers so my son can get a chance to buy a single packet for he's collection! These people are out buying every single box they can then advertising them for triple the price, why not limit them to 2 packs per person? My son is ADHD and used to love a walk to your local shop castletown Sunderland for he's Pokémon cards but Scalpers have already sat waiting for delivery and taking the lot! Pointless even coming back to your stores, greed gets you nowhere

Stopped on 9th May '26 at the bakery in Morrison's Newark to buy one of my favourite bread loaves.
There was a lady working behind the counter. I asked for my loaf to be sliced. Seems I inconvenienced her. She threw whatever she was handling down, glowered at me with the most miserable face I'd seen in a long time and barked do you want it medium or large. After the slicing she squished my loaf into a plastic bag, so the slices got deformed and pushed it towards me. I couldn't get away quick enough from that woman. Why do Morrison's employ people who either clearly hate their job, or hate interacting with customers, or both?
I won't miss that shop when they eventually go bust.

Told because their system hasn't marked my order as delivered I am unable to get a refund.
Terrible system, I am now left with unusable items due to them not being wrapped properly and left in the dirty unwashed delivery treys they deliver our food in.
