Yo, this is SUCH A SCAM
I ordered two pairs, both didn't fit because their Size Guides are bad.
I return them, wait 2 weeks while wearing shoes with holes and they basically say I wont get my refund or the PURCHASHED SHOES BACK.
Also the first pair I bought I wanted to pay with Paypal and my money was deducted, but the order didn't go through, so I had to spend 2 hours on the phone with the Bank in order to get my refund, because their customer service wouldn't acknowledge the mistake on their end.

I think the legitimate company Groundies may have gone into liquidation. I tried to purchase some shoes this week and when I went to pay the account came up as a personal one not a business one. All the websites coming up on Google are not the legitimate Groundies.com, but imitations which appear to be scams. People are not recieving their goods or not recieving confirmation or delivery info from the seller. If you have purchased recently I would cancel with PayPal or your bank immediately, they'll be able to recover your money. It's a shame because I loved my old groundies trainers but not worth risking the scams out there to find a real seller at the moment.
No delivery, no refund, uncontactable. Suspect the company might be closing.
Ordered Shoes and sized according to their guidelines but they were too big. Returned at my cost £18, and Royal Mail cant deliver as there is noone to accept. Had already ordered and paid for new shoes but they havent arrived, emails are answered with an automated reply that they are working at getting back online. Their site is down and telephone number is just ringing. I don't know what to make of it all, except that they are perhaps being liquidated or something along those lines, otherwise you would be able to reach a person to talk to. I just hope I get my money back.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service! At this point I feel I am being completely ripped off! I paid for shipping to receive the item as well as customs duties. Unfortunately the shoes didn't fit so I had to pay for return shipping! Not cheap. What company doesn't have free returns these days, especially with shoes. Now they refuse to accept the return item and it is stuck in the post. They are not even reachable any more and even their website is 'offline'.

I never write reviews but people need to know. By far THE worst online purchase I have made! Approach with caution and I wish I had read the other reviews. First pair fell apart after 6 weeks and second pair is now doing the same. Groundies did not care or attempt to help in anyway, you might get a token reply after 10 days but no action will ever be taken to refund or help you. Luckily I paid via PayPal who took on the case. I doubt I will ever see the return postage refunded and have now drawn a line under it. The second pair was charged triple at customs, not Grounds fault, and I have claimed it back as it was a mistake. However, when I actually managed to find Groundies online chat working, 'Daniel', literally could not have cared less what I was charged and was not interested in helping.
The only way I can explain the experience is it's like you have been involved in an online scam.!
Vivobarefoots are superb if you want barefoot shoes.
Exchange of shoes
After ordering 3 pairs of Groundies shoes previously (highly satisfied with those), my forth had a defect which meant the sole started to come off after wearing for 3 months. I contacted the sales team to inform them about this who offered to replace the shoe free of charge (no need to send in the defective shoe either). Highly satisfied with the service and shoes and will be buying here again in the future. Doug
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I recently purchased the Milano Men shoes from them I am extremely disappointed with the condition of the shoes. When I received them, they appeared to be heavily worn and creased, as if they were previously used.
I was under the impression that I was purchasing a new pair of shoes, and I am extremely unhappy with the product I received.I emailed them ages ago and they never reply!

I would give this company no stars if I could! I made an order for two of their shoes back at the beginning of August 2022 and it is now the beginning of November and they still haven't arrived to me in the UK! Their customers service is non existent, with little or no updates to the delays that you experience as a customer for delivery. They obviously have serious problems exporting their product to the UK and I'm sad to say that although their designs look great their business will never succeed with the level of customer service they currently provide. If you email them they say to expect 10 days for a reply and from experience, that's if you are lucky! It is totally unacceptable and I'd not recommend you purchasing from them unfortunately given our terrible experience dealing with them.
Dispatch take very long
The dispatch for shoes, which are in stock, takes forever. So you pay for goods and you don’t have it for weeks. Very poor customer service. I do not recommend.

I've 3 pairs of groundies now. Never had a shipping problem to Ireland. I had a problem with one pair of shoes in the sole and they were replaced. I'm currently eyeing up a pair of winter. Love groundies
Worst customer service ever
Groundies have one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They reply every two weeks and I've never been satisfied with their answer.
I bought four pairs of shoes more than a month ago and I still don't have any info if or when they'll be delivered. They sent it originally with DHL but the whole order was actually returned back after a week or so. No one gave me an explanation why. When I asked if they will deliver it with a different company, they just replied "yes, we will". So I asked if they can give me a tracking number. No answer for 8 working days. When I contacted them through Instagram they just told me that they're humans and that they're doing everything they can. Well, that's not true, if you would have been doing everything you can, then I would be currently wearing your shoes. Extremely dissatisfied with the whole company. I'm on a mission to let people know not to trust this company and to avoid them.

My first pair of Groundies. The shipment was as promised and at no cost to me. Good shoes true to size. A very good experience.

It has been 3 months since I purchased a pair of shoes from this website and the quality very subpar. The bottom of both shoes have cracked and the outside of the shoes get dirty really easily and are hard to clean.

Great company, but they don't seem to read reviews
I really don't understand those negative reviews. Super customer service. I find the shoes a bit narrow (especially the boots, which you would expect to be made wider for extra room for thick socks) for a barefoot. But many customers complained about narrow toebox. The only negative thing I feel fair to mention that they don't seem to read these reviews. But some of the shoes are wide enough.

Als je geluk hebt en het produkt bevalt is er niks aan de hand. Mijn eerste paar laarsjes zit zo goed dat ik nog twee paar schoenen heb besteld in de uitverkoop.
Helaas, ook ik heb nu een slechte ervaring. Op de site staat: "Maatvoering: dit model valt normaal uit."...Ze zijn minstens drie maten te groot.
Zoals ik hier al gelezen had: terugsturen -met track&trace!- moet je zelf betalen.
Omruilen doen ze ook niet.
Als ik die schoenen alsnog wil moet ik ze opnieuw bestellen. Er zat meer dan de helft korting op, maar dat is inmiddels niet meer zo. Kortom: de service van Groundies is echt slecht.

My first pair of groundies i like so much that i ordered two more pairs. I had measured my feet using their instructions and my first pair fits perfectly. I ordered the same size again. On the site the shoes i ordered are described as having "normal size". What i received is at least 3 times too big. Like clown-shoes.
The return costs -with track and trace- i had to pay. Also if i still want to have the shoes in the right size, i have to place a new order. Apart from it being impossible to determine the right size, these shoes were on sale for less then half the price. That offer is not available any more. Bad service. Unfitting for any self-respecting company.
Update: meanwhile, after me mailing them about the trouble and money it cost me to return the shoes, (i asked for a discount on any future orders, since i might order another pair of my first groundies boots someday) i did get a refund for the return-costs. The company claims returning was free all along.
I did an order and paid with iDeal
I did an order and paid with iDeal. Apparently they had an iDeal malfunction. Even though the money was withdrawn from my account, and put onto their account, the order never came trough. They told me they would refund me and I should place a new order with paypal, so I did. Months later they still haven't refunded me, I keep asking them, and every time they say they will refund me, but never do! I'm so sick of it at this point, that I'm considering legal action.
