Shockingly poor service

I booked an afternoon tea for 4th April and got a confirmation email. I went to send the voucher to my partner to use and had seen that the booking had been cancelled and a new one had been made, without a date selected.

This has resulted in family travelling from out of town to attend with now no actual reservation.

The help line was absolutely useless. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was even more unhelpful. When I asked to escalate it further, I was told that wasnt possible and that a refund is the only solution.

Not a human being to actually talk to on the phone to explain. I couldn't even send my proof through because their attachment function on the chat wasnt working.

Will never use Groupon again. I suppose it's another company who's service has gone completely faceless and lost all customer service values.

Purchased 48 plug plants

Purchased 48 plug plants, and so far its been 7 days, ordered on the 27th still in shipping on the 3rd of April, easter bank holiday weekend and easter Monday are fast approaching and I highly doubt they will be delivered within the weekend or Monday, so monday would make it 10 days, that these plug plants have been in transit... most likely they are all dead now thanks to whistl A TERRIBLE CHOICE OF COURIER so what am I to do? GROUPON have shut down there customer service email address and now you have to deal with an AI chatbot and wait endless hours to talk to a human... as far as I am concerned groupon is a scam AVOID AVOID AVOID

I use Groupon to discover new experiences and local deals, I use Groupon a lot and have never had any negative experiences. I would 100% recommend.

They’re scammers

I’ve used groupon many times before. Never encountered an issue until yesterday and the customer service was horrendous. Me and my husband paid for afternoon tea voucher. We did it once it came up with an error saying not processed. Fine we repeated it but the same error came up. At this point my husband checked his emails and the payment has been processed twice. It’s not clear how to contact groupon on their website so I contacted through social media. Multiple barriers were put up they offered credit which is a complete scam since the website said the order hadn’t been processed but PayPal had debited.

They said quote “ We are pleased to inform you that we can process the refund to the original form of payment as per your request since your order falls within the cancellation deadline.” It was a faulty website error in the first place, so no cancellation policy language should be used especially when we did nothing wrong.

I’m going to switch back to using wowcher. If you’re reading this review I recommend you do the same because if anything goes wrong it’s horrendous to try sort out. I got incredible frustrated with them, I genuinely believe their website did this on purpose and not an accident, because why wouldn’t they apologise and instantly refund the card of payment but instead offered credit?

Very poor customer service.

Spa Day with friend.

I had booked for my friend and I through Groupon we had a great experience and would return again.

The treatments were amazing very relaxing and we had a 2 course lunch very big hearty portions was full up lol.

Other than assuming groupon is buying…

Other than assuming groupon is buying fake positive reviews, i have no idea how they manage to get so many posiitives.

My pexiernce - bought vouchers to vincent rooms (another sham of a business).
2 months of trying to reserve, twice reservations canclled by them, endless messages, they dont pick up the phone and they dont return calls. Filled their online form and sitll nothing. I escalated to groupon, they said they will sort it but they did f all, went round the hosues and eventually justs topped respoinding to my original contact. Did it again, this time they said as i only contacted them after voucher expired they cant do anything, when i showed them the original contact they refunded the money finally to my accoutn as credit. I dont want credit,. or vouchers, i paid for a service and they failed to deliver. They say they cant refund,t hats illegal and i will be taking you to county court!

Getting the run around saying i downloaded the wrong one

I downloaded Office for my IMac but would not load when to my Microsoft account saying this software is for Mac software 12 and above.I went for the older software because i have an older mac on Bib Sur 11-7-11. Now they are telling me i download the windows version ,so looked at my email and that's saying i download Microsoft office 2019/2021 lifetime activation key for windows; office 2021 home and business lifetime for MAC license choice llc. Now trying to say i downloaded office for windows not mac.

Terrible customer service. Do not purchase any items from them. Experiences seem to be fine, it is just their marketplace.

Terrible, terrible experience. Purchased a mattress at the end of November in readiness for Xmas. Although UPS attempted to deliver when we were at work, as we were given no notification that a delivery was coming. We attempted to try and get it redelivered but there seemed to be no one to deal with it. We spent the last couple of months trying to find a way, with Groupon marketplace chat constantly fobbing us off, and promising a redelivery, even though when we eventually found a way through to UPS (almost impossible as there are no contact details for them) they informed us that the package had ben stuck at the depot. There seemed to be no way to get the status changed or a new mattress sent out after months of chasing Groupon, Emma and UPS. Given up now and have Amex on the case. However, my advice is to stay well clear of purchasing anything through Groupon as their customer service is appalling. They have no interest in assisting their customers in any way.
