The ring is amazing. For spending so much money I would have expected some more information about the process, which is generally a crowd pleaser. Right now you purchase the item and it just says "pro... See more

I was apprehensive buying online but in this case it was easy and fast and even great follow up from GB

The rings that I purchased from grown brilliance were absolutely amazing. The sales girl at the Boca Raton location was amazing as well.

In 2023, I purchased an IGI Certified Lab Grown Diamond engagement ring from Grown Brilliance, featuring a Marquise Shaped, Excellent Cut, E-VVS2 stone. Although I initially had reservations about the main diamond's lack of brilliance, I didn't voice them as my partner was happy.
Unfortunately, the diamond soon began to appear cloudy, losing its clarity, while the smaller accent diamonds retained their sparkle. When I contacted the vendor, they recommended professional cleaning. The cleaning restored the brilliance, but only for one or two days before the cloudiness returned. A subsequent cleaning prompted the jeweller to express concern, noting this recurring issue was highly unusual. Because of its dull appearance, my wife became self-conscious and stopped wearing the ring, feeling it looked fake.
For our anniversary on December 1st, I asked her to wear the ring. Upon observing the cloudiness, we consulted a second jeweller. They cleaned the ring, but again, the sparkle faded within days. A follow-up visit led the jeweller to examine the certificate and confirm its authenticity. However, they concluded there seemed to be an inherent flaw, describing it as a "low quality diamond, even by lab grown standards," suggesting a poor carbon composition.
I contacted Grown Brilliance again. They dismissed the issue, blaming external factors like oils and lotions. They argued the issue is not covered under warranty, claiming that since the diamond sparkles after cleaning, there is no inherent defect. This contradicts the fact that the wedding band and the accent diamonds remain brilliant. This situation has caused a significant financial loss and, more importantly, disappointment to my loving partner.
***Their response is consistent. Nothing is ever wrong with their product, even though there are 2 independant jewellers that disagree. We actually cleaned it and left it without wearing it. A week later it is cloudy. We have other diamonds in the same storage area. Perfectly brilliant. ***BUYER BEWARE**

The diamond we ordered and had made into a ring is very nice but is not what we ordered. We ordered a 3 carat Asscher cut diamond. What we received was a 3 carat square emerald cut diamond according to the IGI report. It's easy to research that these are similar but different cuts. We like the ring but it is not what my wife wanted. She likes the look of the genuine Asscher cut which looks very old fashioned. I called customer service last night when I finally realized the difference and to be honest I got pretty upset with the person who was trying to convince me that they were 2 names for the same cut. A simple 2 second Google search shows they are not. I demanded a call back from a person on Monday, and from someone in America as the person I was speaking to was clearly in India. No problem with outsourcing calls to India since it is a jewelry center but I don't see how someone half a world away can solve this situation. I hope for a good resolution to this then I can change this review to a higher level. We previously bought a 5 stone wedding emerald cut wedding band which we've had no problem with. Again the ring is quite beautiful but not what we ordered. My daughter had previously bought a 3 carat wedding ring from you which is beautiful and had no problems. Anyone who buys a "natural" diamond nowadays thinking it's an "investment " is a fool by the way.

Product (wedding ring) was beautiful. Then within a year a sideshow had fallen out & we had to send it back under their lifetime warranty. We requested them to look at & fix the outings as well since one was snagging on clothes, etc & we did not want to lose the big diamond. They fixed the ring. Then within a year a prong broke (which we asked them to look at on prior return). This time they stated that this was normal wear & year and not covered under their lifetime warranty (nor can you purchase their insurance since not within 30 days of purchase & don't know if this would cover the required repairs). How are we supposed to know at time of purchase that the ring was of inferior quality parts? My wife has rings from well over 50+ years old with no problems (her mom's wedding ring plus trying from prior marriage). I would not buy from this company due to major product quality concerns. Why buy a beautiful ring that you cannot wear?!

UPDATE FEB 13, 2026: I RECEIVED MY MISSING ITEM QUICKLY AFTER FILING A COMPLAINT. LOVE THE RINGS. COMPANY NEEDS TO IMPROVE ITS COMMUNICATION. I ordered and paid for 2 rings on Dec 25th. Only one arrived on Jan 13th. I reported the issue immediately to customer service. I've now called six times for an update and am receiving conflicting stories for GB's customer service. Deeply concerned that I've paid for an expensive item that I'll never receive.

I tried on many styles of wedding bands before walking into GB, so I had a good idea of what I was looking for. The sales associate was still incredibly helpful in talking through my vision and finding what I was describing. Everywhere I looked I only saw either 5 or 7 stone bands… but i found the most incredible 8 stone band here so a diamond isn’t hiding under my main stone on my engagement ring!

The woman that helped us was extremely patient and kind of how she shared in our experience. It's wonderful to still have some places where customer satisfaction is prioritized over volume of sales. Alexandria really treated us well.

I don’t usually leave reviews — especially not bad ones — but this has been such an awful experience that I felt obligated to.
I ordered an engagement ring for my fiancée on December 6 from the DC location. I chose Grown Brilliance because I was clearly told the ring would be ready by December 17, just in time for my Christmas Eve proposal in Boston.
That didn’t happen.
When I called on December 17, I was told the ring would now arrive after Christmas. This was after Joyce, the Georgetown store manager, had been very confident it would be ready on time. Since I was proposing out of town, timing really mattered.
After a bunch of stressful back-and-forth calls, Joyce arranged for the ring to be sent to the Boston location on Christmas Eve. Joyce told me it would arrive at 10 AM. The store didn’t even open until 11. When I got there, I was told the ring still hadn’t arrived. I waited outside for hours and ended up proposing with a loaner ring because the real one didn’t make it in time.
We finally got the ring a few days later and realized we had chosen the wrong size — that part was on us. So we reordered and was told it would take 3 weeks for the new one.
When we went back to the DC store, Joyce was cold and dismissive. She didn’t even say congratulations. For what’s supposed to be one of the happiest moments of your life, the whole experience just felt impersonal.
Then the resized ring came in… and it was wrong. We ordered a 6.5. They sent a 6.75.
At that point, I asked for this to be escalated because this was no longer a simple mistake — it was becoming a pattern. A rep told me she would personally handle everything when we sent the ring back for the second time.
I called the next day to confirm it had been shipped out. Joyce hadn’t even sent it yet and acted as if she had no idea what was going on. (Oddly she decided to search me on linked in after this encounter, which I thought was very uncomfortable)
It’s now been almost a month since my proposal, and my fiancée still doesn’t have her engagement ring.
Let that sync in. We are still awaiting to speak to somebody in customer service. Have not yet recieved an update on our new shipment date.

It was way too complicated to order a wedding band from you. We placed our first order with you earlier in the year last spring. For a Christmas gift last year I tried for over a month to simply order the matching wedding band. They would not honor my wife’s first responder ID again until I sent the same exact picture in that we originally purchased our wedding ring with. This wasted even more time. It enough of a hassle that I wish now we had purchased our rings elsewhere. They “finally” ordered my wife’s Christmas gift wedding and it should be here later this month. This will be the last time I purchase from your company. As a suggestion dont make it so much of a hassle to spend money and shop, you’ll be out of business soon as your customer base will go elsewhere.
