Ullizee-Inc is the business vehicle of Gunther Verheyen. Gunther calls himself an independent Scrum Caretaker on a journey of humanizing the workplace with Scrum. He started practicing Scrum in 2003, has published two best-selling books about Scrum, has partnered with Ken Schwaber, co-creator of Scrum, and has worked with diverse teams and organizations. The Scrum services that he offers (training, coaching and consulting) build on these accumulated experiences.

Great training. As a Scrum newbie, I can clearly understand what is Scrum, its purpose and how it applies. I see also what is the product owner, what it involves and what he's supposed to achieve. A good start to begin my journey with Scrum.

The workshop gives you great insights on the value of the Scrum values. I can recommend it to every Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Product Owner or any other member of the Scrum tram. But also for management.

Great and compact 4 hour course about the Scrum Values with a high focus on exercices and collaboration!

The class was great, not only about the materials but also the interaction and the discussion in the group.
The class reminded me again to revisit the basic questions and I found it as a chance to validate my knowledge about Scrum.
I learned a lot and definitely will wait for the 2nd module.

Great trainer who knows how to keep it interactive. Doesn't back down when critical questions are posed and welcomes discussion or different points of view.
I think the PSM I training is a great foundation to start working in Scrum.
1 point of improvement: would like to have had more in depth discussion with examples from our Workspace.

Another impressive and very valuable seminar which I attended recently with Gunther Verheyen. In a very empathic and clear way, Gunther transfers his views on agile methods. In addition, I am always very happy with the people attending those seminars: Always very interesting, knowledgeable and friendly participants. This also adds to the high quality of those seminars.

I had the opportunity to follow Gunther's "Scrum in the Large", one of his latest Scrum Pocket Classes.
I'm happy to share some of the reasons why I reccomend this specific training to anyone in the middle of - or just approaching - a "scaled Scrum" challenge.
My first realization was that ... you don't need to "scale" anything or adopt a different framework but simply apply Scrum as it is (in fact the title of Module 1 is 'the rules don't change').
It will be challenging and far from being easy but, at least, you'll reduce the overall complexity of the System.
Secondly, Günther shared real-life examples to be used as intriguing challenges by the class, that discussed it for some minutes and shared with the other groups.
The awesome bit was Günther providing tangible motivations based on solid theoretical basis on top of his invaluable experience on how he had applied the Scrum principles in a larger context (Multiple teams delivering a single Product) without loosing one ounce of Agility!
Scrum on!

I just followed Gunther's new Scrum Pocket Class "Scrum in the Large".
It really offers a refreshing view on how to apply the Scrum principles in a larger context. Both from a theoretical and practical view. And without pulling in large, rigid frameworks that claim to scale your Agility.
Given the amount of companies I've seen struggling with this topic, I can only recommend following this course. It's as pragmatic and useful as it is relevant these days. And I'll definitely start using these insights in my current assignment!

Scrum is my travel companion on the agile journey. Every meeting with Gunther gives me a new understanding about the human factor when complex problems are exposed. Engagement and workplace, it is about people and interactions to bring solutions. Always looking forward to the next meeting with Gunther!

Gunthers workshops are interactive and he is one person with the best knowledge about scrum and agility. Regarding his talks, he could be an scrum influencer, but he calls himself caretaker, that’s fine too ☺️ 5/5

Useful knowledge that can be incorporated to everyday aspects of work giving positive results

The training was very helpful and informative. The only thing that I would change is the duration. I would prefer more days with less hours in order to absorb the new information.

It was an illuminative experience to learn about the Scrum Values from the man of Values. The case studies were intriguing and enabled me to learn different perspectives about the Scrum Values. There were few take aways for me to experiment at work.

Well-documented, very professional training course. Very attentive trainer who continuously look for active involvement and interaction among the participants. Leave enough time and space to answer questions. One important improvement suggestion: introducing, discussing and exercising Product Backlog set-up, ordering and prioritization should have been done much earlier in the training course (instead of at the very end) since is the core of the management accountability of the Product Owner. Not having Product Backlog related skills makes the Product Owner inadequate to optimize/maximize the value of the product. Many thanks, Gunther, for your enthousiasm and eagerness to hand-over your Scrum wisdom.

Great workshop that helps in a practical and effective way to deep dive in the values of the Scrum Values. Thanks!
