Should be zero stars! I never agreed to a subscription, I brought a 99p course and now they keep trying to charge my Apple Pay $69 dollars and with no way to cancel this illegal subscription on their website
I wish that I would have come here first! I fiend even get the$1 class because it wouldn't let me move forward unless I purchased additional classes. Today they attempted to charge my card $69. I keep all my cards locked for this very reason. I blocked them from being able to ever charge my card again.
SCAM!! I bought a promo course for 1$ and then they charged me 69$ for a next course i didn't want, BEFORE i even created and account on their platform!!
Can I give negative stars? What a terrible scam company with terrible business practices this is. Charges you for things you didnt agree to, has a 'full refund for any reason no questions asked' policy but will never give you a refund. Complete lies, completely amoral, a horrible company that should not be allowed to operate. Their courses suck too but thats not the worst of it.
SCAM ALERT!
I have bought I program for 1 euro, that I couldn't access, and they never responded me when I've asked them how. And 3 days later they have charged my card for 69 dollars!
apsolute scam, never buy anything from them
Scammers, they will charge you more and make automated payments, sell what you didn’t want to buy and will not be willing to return the funds.
Big scammer! I wonder how the business is still there scamming people after all those complaints online. I was charged $102.2 after they obtained my bank details. The help chat was just AI and it refused to refund. I had to block my bank card to avoid future charges. BE CAREFUL.
The response from Sofia was fast, friendly and she offered a nice solution. Wish that communication with your company would always be that fast and efficient. Thank you Sofia!
I want to warn others about this company.
I purchased a course advertised for $1 on instagram, and I also added an extra option for $9, believing these would be the only charges. That was clearly the impression given during the purchase process.
After paying, I suddenly received access to a platform that did not contain the course I ordered, but instead a large collection of unrelated and strange materials that I had never asked for.
Then, three days later, I was unexpectedly charged €59.77 for a subscription called “Key Account Plus”, which I never knowingly signed up for!
The company appears on Trustpilot as gurugo.online, but the charge on my card was processed by gurugo.app (Gurugo.App-Cheyenne).
Inside the account there is no clear option to cancel the subscription or delete the account, and the support page does not work. In practice, there is no straightforward way to stop the subscription from within the platform.
This business model feels extremely misleading. What looks like a cheap course quickly turns into an expensive recurring subscription that is very difficult to cancel.
I strongly advise everyone not to buy anything from this company!!!
The attention was excellent, at first I thought that my issue couldn't be solved, but Sophia helped a lot, so everything went smooth. Thanks for everything
UPDATE: I filed a fraud dispute with my credit card company, and filed a fraud complaint with stripe, this company’s payment processor. 5 days later I received an email from Gurugo stating that they will be refunding my money and won’t charge me again. I highly recommend anyone who has been scammed by this company take the same steps. It doesn’t take very long, and it will resolve your issue.
I’d give them zero starts if I could. I bought a program for $1. I was unable to access the program because their website had pop ups that wouldn’t disappear and I couldn’t complete registration. It’s now three days later, and they charged me $69.99. Haven’t heard back from customer service about a refund. I have had to lock my card, and will likely have to cancel that card to avoid future charges. It seems as if this company is a total scam. I tried calling their phone number, and I just get a busy signal. Total scam company! Hoping they do the right thing and actually respond to my emails. If not, I’ll try filing a dispute with my bank and with stripe. Total scam company. Do not give them your credit card information!!!!
Really wish I had seen all the other reviews on this site before I tried to buy a program from them. Seems they have responded to a few claiming that they only charge people with explicit consent. That’s a lie. I literally have not even been able to get into their website to access the cheap program that I purchased, and they charged me again!! These people are liars and thieves.
I thought I saw and advertisement for a one time payment platform access...but the next month they charged me and it was a lot of money for me, more than 10% of my monthly income...and I didn't planned on that....so I ask for a refund as I was not that interested in the platform at the end.... but they have a no refund policy...so the money I never saw it back...and the solution was giving me a lifetime access to the platform...sorry, but that just sounds like you're trying to rip off people...how many users actually use this platform? cause I just got a bad experience and it gives me even less expectation on wanting to use it...
Would have given no stars but it’s not an option.
Absolute scam and theft via bank account.
Awaiting refund - will update review if successful.
I saw an offer on Facebook, and I went for it.
I tried looking for the small print, as I didn’t want money to come out of my account without any permission. Luckily, I informed my bank, otherwise €59 would’ve illegally been stolen from my account.
When the offer is offered, there is nothing under your profile you can do to cancel future payments. This is ethically and morally wrong.
Please be aware and watch your account; they are scammers and thieves.
I have already sent them an email informing them that my bank has blocked them for all future payments
To anyone who has purchased a course only to be charged a subscription that was buried in the fine print...this strategy is illegal (it is called a subscription trap). As such, you can initiate a chargeback through your bank, meaning that your bank can retrieve your money for you. Even if the company is not adhering to consumer laws, the banks can force adherance.
Please note: you can also report to the Federal Trade Commission in America.
Beware of GuruGo. Misleading ad - buy 1 course at 99 cents, but then they charge you 59 USD for subscription you never asked for. Their public Terms and Conditions (Section 6.2) explicitly state a 14-day money-back guarantee for courses. However, when I requested a refund for a $59 charge well within this timeframe, their customer support flat-out refused. They make up hidden "internal criteria" that contradict their own contract to deny refunds. This is a classic bait-and-switch scam. I had to initiate a bank chargeback and file a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General. Do not give them your credit card details!
I bought a service for 1 USD and then low and behold I look at my bank account today and I've had 69 USD taken out of my account for something I didn't sign up for. I have sent an email and I expect full compensation.
Absolutely scammers!!!!!!!!!!
Scammers!!!!!!!!!!
Do not purchase anything.
Bought a $1 course, just to try.
Didn’t even receive the correct one and have now been charged an additional $80 for something I definitely did not sign up for.
Refuse to give a refund despite my numerous emails.
Absolute fraudulent business!!!!!
Do not purchase!!!!!?
They charged me for subscription I never sign for.
The support was very good and quick. Thank you for your help
