Hafod have installed over 70 air source heat pumps in the past 12 months including one to provide underfloor heating to keep the abandoned dogs warm at the North Clwyd Animal Rescue charity’s kennels near Holywell. The company, which recently moved to their own carbon-free headquarters at Tremeirchion in the Vale of Clwyd, now employs 11 staff and has become a key player in North Wales in the installation of solar and non-solar systems. Since they began in July 2010 they have fitted over 300 air and ground-source heating systems and last year this sector grew to overtake solar power so that RHI now makes up almost 80 per cent of the £1.5 million turnover business. In those ten years they have also fitted over 10,000 solar panels, including at more than 100 farms, Henllan Bakery, the world’s oldest heritage railway, the Talyllyn, a giant super-school, a rugby club and two golf clubs.

A trusted local company
Hafod installed our Air Source Heat pump which was a completely new technology to me. I spoke to a large number of companies but in the end decided to go with Hafod as they were local, knowledgable and very competitive. I'm so glad I did as I any queries or issues I have had have been dealt with promptly and efficiently. I don't believe I would have received the same service from one of the 'national' companies. With renewables I think it's really important to deal with someone local and trustworthy.

Solar Panel Installation
Appointment arranged for survey within days of our request. All technical and administrative details well explained on a one to one basis at our convenience and at our home. The installation was carried out quickly and without fuss. Very pleased with product. Monitor was found to be faulty but was replaced quickly without any problems.
Overall an excellent company who we would have no hesitation in recommending.

Hafod - totally brilliant
The panels have been generating for almost one year now. They have surpassed all predictions made by the company. The installation was quick and the workers were wholly professional. Help is always at hand at the end of the phone.
I wish Hafod every success in the future . They deserve it.

Hafod Renewable Energy have provided me with excellent after-sales service.
Hafod installed a solar heating system for me in August 2014. It was done very efficiently and more quickly than I had anticipated. We did have a slight communications problem with the scaffold suppliers they were using as sub-contractors, about which they were most apologetic and understanding.
More recently I need the inverter moved because of alterations being made to the building. This was also done speedily and efficiently, and they didn't even charge!
