So decided on getting a consultation following great reviews in their london office, where a professional, detailed analysis was conducted under a digital microscope, a plan was drawn up, and a quotation given, all free and no obligation!
Having decided to go ahead later on, I decided to attend their budapest treatment clinic,impressions were great from the start, I had a driver waiting for me from the airport to take me to the apartment provided, which was perfect, homely, clean and super convenient, exactly what you need when a daunting procedure is to follow.
The professionalism was further bolstered upon arrival to the clinic for the actual procedure, facilities were very modern, clean and spacious, all staff super friendly. A special mention to my coordinator/translator Maya who is a lovely young lady. Great quality lunches were also provided.
The surgeon and support crew were all super professional, and was never left with any unanswered questions or doubts on aftercare.
On the whole I’m super glad I chose these guys, who are clearly very experienced, and whilst it’s obviously too early to see results, I’m in no doubt they will meet/exceed expectations. I’m glad I chose these guys over, say a Turkish establishment, as I find the order and attention to detail in this country superior, and this showed with hair palace. Totally recommended.

Two years on now and I'm largely unimpressed with the results from hair palace.

The experience at the time was professional, polite and effecient. However, the end result has been largely disappointing. Checking the photos from one year they really failed to achieve the sort of density they had tried to.

Clearly I will have had some additional hair loss since the original procedure. Having said that my honest Impression was that it was probably a waste of money.

I put my trust in Hairpalace and I was not disappointed to date. They explain everything and make you feel at ease. They are very professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Hairpalace.

Very friendly staff, easy communication and processing and execution of the entire treatment. Very hygienic operation room. I felt taken care of through the entire process! Looking forward to the treatment results in a few months!

A very big disappointment!

Be careful when you read the 5-star review! Almost all of them are immediately after the surgery and NOT after the results are visible.

The warranty is a joke! They claim that they guarantee 80% of the implanted hairs or otherwise a free intervention. When I have raised this with them they simply quote me another 1,990 GBP for 4,000 hairs or 2790 GBP for 6,000 hairs. Cheaper than first time when I paid 4,000 GBP for the initial intervention.

When I raised my complaint the said that 'all is fine'. After I have insisted they have admitted that things are not ok and they gave me the new quote. Needless to say, the owner is not available to comment.

The doctor that did my surgery looked like it just graduated highschool- Erika Gucsi. I decided to not let this affect my decision and went ahead. Big mistake.

The real loss is not the money but the healthy hairs which were taken from the back of my head. Even if they offered me a free intervention I would not do it.

Arguments that they are in the EU are baseless since I can't do anything right now.

My advice is to go to Turkey, pay more, and increase your chances of a successful intervention.

Its now 6 days since my surgery at the Hair Palace Clinic Budapest, and i honestly and truly cannot thank Dr Attilla and his team enough for the whole procedure, was very apprehensive at the begining, about going to another country to have this surgery, but any worries i had soon disappeared after meeting Dr Atilla and his team, they are the upmost professionals , and make you feel like you are one of there family, the team made the whole procedure quite an enjoyable experience, its virtually pain free, you can feel the first couple of injections, but from then on the whole process is completely pain free, Hair Palace have everything organised for your visit to there clinic in Budapest, from picking you up promptly from the airport and taking you directly to your excellent accommodation, were you have everything you need for your stay, there, i would 100% recommend Hair Palace to anyone who is looking to have a hair transplant, the whole team really are true professionals, and make you feel totally comfortable for your entire stay in Budapest, i had 6100 grafts, and cant wait to go back there next year for another 1000 grafts, i wholeheartedly believe that Hair Palace is one of the finest hair transplant clinics in Europe, if not the very best in Europe, i rate them 10/10

I just had my transplantation one week ago and I'm really grateful that I chose HairPalace. The team and the doctor were absolutely friendly and professional! Special thanks to my doctor Katalin Sereny who did an awesome job, my translator who explained all steps of the procedure and the whole HairPalace team for the excellent organization! Furthermore, I'm certainly thankful for the support and care after the surgery!

The apartment was clean and included everything you need during your stay. It takes only 15 minutes to walk to the clinic and you can find a shopping centre near the apartment. I also took a friend with me, who could stay in the apartment for free.

All in all I highly recommend the HairPalace clinic and I absolutely don't regret my decision.

I've completed day one of my intervention today and I am more than impressed so far. I've been well looked after from start to finish by my interpreter and the doctor. I have been kept up to date with each and every aspect of the procedure. The facilties are clean and everything is organised and professional. I'm glad I chose Hair Palace.

I thought about a hair transplant for years but was simply too nervous to go ahead with it. I googled different clinics over the years and even got a quote from a clinic in Ireland which was way over my budget.

Eventually I found Hair Palace and read all the great reviews and even found a guy in my home town who had the same procedure done there. So I decided it's now or never..

Stupidly enough my biggest worry wasn't the pain or the post-operative recovery, it was walking in the streets and going to the airport after the surgery. Well first thing is there's absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about and people hardly even noticed my head at all. Anyway they're strangers so who cares..

So...

I was met at the airport by the Hair Palace driver who was really nice and friendly. Took about 25 minutes to the apartment.

The apartment is modern and clean and close to a big mall with some restaurants. We used the Wolt app to order food mostly. There's also a small shop right on the corner beside the apartment which has everything you need.

I walked to the clinic on the morning of the first surgery. Took about 15 mins and easy to find. There I waited a few mins before I went up in the lift and was greeted by my translator for the two days, Edina. She was extremely pleasant and welcoming and made me feel alot less nervous in just a few minutes. I picked out some food for lunch and chose a movie to watch during the procedure. Second day was pretty much the same and the lovely Edina was really great and helpful again.

The clinic itself is spotlessly clean and modern. All the staff are very friendly and my doctor (Virag) was very nice but also 100% serious and professional. You really feel like you have nothing to worry about.

There is not really much pain at all as others have said and you're given a relaxant which means you'll feel fine or maybe even fall asleep which I did both days.

There's really not much else to say that hasn't already been said...

It's only been two weeks so I will write again next year but I recommend Hair Palace 100%. Everything including the after care when you get home is fantastic. They really do everything they can to make you feel good and to make sure the transplant works well and they're always there to answer questions before and after the surgery.

Only just completed my procedure today but leading up to the op pretty much everything has been 5Star, from the communication prior to my intervention, the transport driver who was friendly and hotel accommodation which was situated in a very good location. The day of the procedure itself ran smoothly, the staff explain everything you need to know, you are given a decent meal to choose from and entertainment options to watch during the second phase of the actual implantation of the grafts. Of course I’ll have to wait and see how my implanted hairs grow in the next coming months but going from previous reviews I am really looking forward to my results and hopeful the procedure worked well for me. As my natural hairline has not receded as severe as other patients I am aware there may be further hair loss which was explained to me, so there is a possibility I could be back in the future.

A hair transplant is something I had been giving serious consideration to for several years but you do hear these horror stories from people who pay thousands of pounds for treatment and end up with a messed up scalp and not much more hair. For that reason my enthusiasm for a fuller head of hair was tempered with apprehension that my appearance could actually end up being made worse. After much research I eventually chose to go to Hair Palace in Budapest mainly because of their very high Trustpilot ratings and guarantee of at least 80% regrowth.

I made my first visit in November 2018 for surgery to the front and crown which took two days. The hospitality was excellent and the staff put me at ease and were very helpful. The only pain during the surgery was from the painkilling injections especially to the crown. The result of their implantation of grafts at the front and at the crown was excellent. I was perhaps more fortunate than most in that very few of my implanted hairs actually fell out in the post-op period and after four months they started to grow and still continue to do so.

My only disappointment was that I didn't have enough grafts to completely cover my head and I realised that I still needed some hairs to be transplanted onto the central lobe. Like everyone else I had gone abroad for a transplant in the first place because it was much cheaper than having it done in the in the UK. However, having achieved such a great result at HairPalace last year there was nowhere else I would go to finish what I had started.

I went to Budapest again last week and had my second transplant over a single day two days ago. Again the hospitality was excellent and I was looked after very well. But the end result is what matters and I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome which I hope will be similar to what I achieved last time.

HairPalace do issue their patients with a rigid set of post-op instructions in the weeks and months after the surgery. The first week in particular is very strict and it will be a while before my life properly gets back to normal. But they do this so their patients can achieve the best possible results and it is definitely worth following these instructions to the letter.

The bottom line is hair palace has the expertise, the latest technology and the talent to deliver natural long lasting results. I do recommend them and the entire team here. Excellent people excellent treatment.

Great experience from beginning to the end. Doctor was very helpful and it was 99% pain free, apart from injections, they sting for a few seconds but then you feel nothing. I would recommend to anyone interested. I was sceptical at first but there was no need to be. Now I just gotta wait 6 months to see the results. I’ll definitely return next year to have my hair line replaced at the front..

This is my second time here and the service is brilliant and last result i had was really good and that was the front. This second time they made the crone area and so far it looks likes, its going to be a very good result. I would definitely recomend hairpalace. Naturally I was very apprehensive about getting the procedure done but my apprehension very quickly went as I arrived at the clinic. All the staff were very helpful, kindly and caring.

The clinic it’s self was very peaceful, clean and had excellent amenities. Lunch was provided with a choice from 3 menus which were all very good quality.

The transfers from and to the airport were very punctual and the driver was very helpful and friendly.

The accommodation was excellent - very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you could requires.

Even in the run up to my surgery the email communication was fantastic, all questions were answered very quickly and the wealth of extra information was brilliant.

I would highly recommend using HairPalace. And I would most certainly use again.
