Restaurant meets ibiza bar
I was recommended this restaurant by some of my younger staff. After looking at the reviews I decided to take my wife there.
The atmosphere was dark and nebulous, the music felt progressive and was repetitive (I have since been told it is called House music?), the staff were really on point, and the food was delicious. (Crispy prawns are a must for seafood lovers!)
I expected this to be a premium version of Alan Yau's Wagamamas chain and it was much more. We had 4 dishes and a glass of bubbles and our bill came in at just over £140 so yes it is £££.
Lovely food and amazing service
Lovely food and amazing service. It is £££ but worth the money me and the girls eat here on the regular.
Takeaway portions ridiculously small
Takeaway portions ridiculously small.
A whole duck from here was about the same size as a quarter duck from my local Chinese and cost £110.
Taste great but a starter portion was all we got.
Svoid ordering takeaway from them.-8
Average Taste & Service
Average taste and also service. They can do it more better.

I had a lovely meal here however it was a little salty. I would have preferred it to be less salty so I could add soy sauce myself. Other than that it was lovely.
Booked for a Birthday Meal 11/08/20
This was booked for a birthday meal and quite honestly the staffs service was very very low
Experience overall was highly disappointing
Started with a dinner plate being roughly thrown at my friend as well as taking very long to bring anything to the table.
As a group we were then told to stop taking pictures because a certain table didn’t want us to: but we were their for our experience and it we shouldn’t be told not to document it, also we weren’t taking a picture of “Karen”
Shortly after this we were told that they need to rush us abit for time and all, we hadn’t even been there for 1.5 hours (if everything did come on time we’d have eaten and left)
We asked for a birthday cake which (1) they took so long to bring, they didn’t even offer a dessert menu or if we wanted any and (2) they decided to bring Bill at the same time,
The person dealing with the bill was so impatient and wasn’t even letting the birthday girl blow out the candle and have a picture
We had left over food and had requested 2 more bags to split it as we all ordered different food, the person dealing with our bill sternly exclaimed “we’ll get that can you sort this bill” it’s like they couldn’t wait to get us out of there, is it because the whole table was people of colour?
So we kept quiet and paid. We’ve noticed too the “eat out to help out” scheme was applied however there was a 15% service charge which the amount saved from the scheme was not really saved.
Overall it was very s h i t experience for a high end restaurant and I would be pushing it if I have to give Hakkasan any stars.
I went to Hakkasan on the 4th July
I went to Hakkasan on the 4th July, first day back open, not sure if they were under staff but it took long to get everything. Had to wait for folk, had to wait for a knife, had to wait for chilli, everything was delayed. They brought the bill and we asked them to take the service charge of as we truly wasn’t hAppy, the lady said we had to pay service charge because of being open in Covid and risking their safety and then mid way through conversation she walked of. Literally walked of! Not happy at all with the service, but food was great !
Nice place
Nice place, bit dark, but the food is great! Pricey but a great experience in all. Cant wait to get back!
This is a lovely place to dine
This is a lovely place to dine, I go often and enjoy every time. The problem is the quality of the food is hit and miss and im not sure why, maybe its different cheffs. I tend to order the same or similar every time but its not always as fresh of flavoursome.
Overall great place to eat with a warm and elegant experience
Great food and nice atmosphere
Great food and nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.
Not a great experience
I dine here at least once a week but have stopped after the way I was treated last time. I arrived and was shouted down by probably a drunk customer and yet the manageress Pauline was present. When we went to our table down stairs the table was dirty and had handbags and coats of other nearby customers. We waited for a while but no one cleared our table so we left. Sadly when I wrote to the manager Pauline she didn’t even offer to a gesture to a regular customer who spends thousands of pounds every week for the last many years. If they can afford to treat me in this manner then I’m sure if things go wrong on the night they probably wouldn’t care. A terrible experience unfortunately!
Great Service
One of the things that really stood out to me was the excellent customer service. The staff were really attentive and put in a top effort in helping to make my partner’s birthday a special one. The unexpected personalised message in our dessert was a nice touch too. We’ll definitely visit again.
lovely ambiance
lovely ambiance, great food, bit pricey but worth it for an occasion. staff are impeccable and could not be faulted. wonderful experience, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a smooth evening all round

HAKKASAN BRUTON ST MAYFAIR...
WORLD CLASS EVERYTHING.
The food, people working there, the drinks, the location, the interiors...
Everything is second to none.
The Manager is the manager of all managers...her attention to detail is world class...
Go for the 'Black Truffle Roasted Duck, the Wok Fry Tristan Lobster or their Tea and Dim Sum Lunch which offers Peony Tea...this is just lovely...
From the marginally hidden entrance door in the wall to it's Sultry interiors, you will love this place...very good for it's Dim Sum, it's ground breaking service and exquisite atmosphere...
You will return....
Great way to waste money ...
Hugely overpriced, small portions, snooty and unskilled staff. If you enjoy wasting money on the latest fad, or have no appreciation of what value is, then by all means dine here and leave as hungry as you arrived.
a bit overdue
a bit overdue, been there quite few times evening, Hakkasan Mayfair, and few months ago went for sunday lunch with my baby daughter and had a great time too, great food and service, not cheap though,
Great atmosphere and food, but expensive
Great atmosphere and food - we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I thought it was a bit expensive for the type of food even by London restaurant standards.
