Online purchase was not smooth or easy. Apply pay did not work. PayPal did not work.
Shipping was perfect with one exception. The packaging is superb. It protects the bottles nicely except one time last month when the negative temperatures froze the water in one bottle and shattered it. But, the box remained intact.
The plastic security seal on the cap is not easy to remove but it is effective in confirming that the bottles were not opened by others. The cap on the bottles last year were over tightened and not easy to open. This seems to be improving now.
The taste of the water is neutral to bland with a mineral granite aftertaste. The mouthfeel is on the dry side.
The sustainability of the bottles and packaging is reasonable since both can be recycled.

If you could clarify your feedback? We have the 5 gallon bottles. Yes, they are made of Tritan (a hard copolyester) but the main goal for us is to get the source water of Hallstein to our clients without any alteration. If you mean that we should sell in glass, the 5 gallon bottle would require a such a significant amount of protection without any difference in delivery of the quality we expect our clients to enjoy. The price is would also be astronomically higher based on the logistics costs. We don’t like to disappoint any of our clients but in this case it’s unfortunate that you feel this way. It’s still in the Amazon mail center in…
It’s still in the Amazon mail center in my Apt complex . So I need the shipping number to get it out . Also they never deliver to my door . I left all excellent directions ect. I weigh like 120 I can’t pick that 5 gallon jug up and carry it to my apt. If they don’t start delivering to door I’m doing away with membership.

Wow!! Amazing, refreshing, crisp, tasteful water! I actually enjoy drinking water more. You can definitely tell the difference between filtered water and fresh water from the spring. It’s definitely worth the investment. Best spring water I’ve ever tasted by far. 👍👍

We will reach out to ascertain what you mean, but yes, the 5-gallon bottle is made of Tritan co-polyester (a type of hard plastic). Our main goal is to supply Hallstein without any alteration from source to our clients. Given that glass 5-gallon bottle would increase the cost exponentially, and there is no difference between filling with this plastic or glass, we use it due to its practicality. In the future we hope to find options that are more environmentally sustainable, but at the moment we have to weigh the tradeoff between durability, practicality and cost. If you would like to drink out of glass, please consider ordering the glass bottle cases.

I went to place an order for this company and the 20% discount code I used sent by them did not work so I cancelled . This is my second advise of this as my first was attributed by trust pilot to another company I have sent a message to Hallsteinwater as requested await their reply !re the reply. Now I and other potential customers understand the criteria to get the discount and will act accordingly. Clarity from all sellers is all that is asked of by customers.
