Happy Poppy 

Over a month ago I purchased this product that I thought would be perfect, however my money has been taken and I have never received it. I have been in contact on multiple occasions with the 'support' who have not helped. Then they expect a review - well, my review is, awful. Go somewhere trustworthy and reliable.

The lead does not untangle on its own. So therefore not fit for purpose. Also the buttons only work one at a time so you have to choose which dog to stop. Couldn’t return as would have cost as much as I paid for the lead. Good concept if it worked. This one waste of money

This company is a scam. Please do not use. My items were in China for 2 weeks but when I went to cancel they'd miraculously arrived in the UK. Still haven't received these items. Automated responses via email. Can't get to speak to a real person.

Scam company item never dispatched. Automated emails advising to just be patient and wait. Tracking shows they didn't even attempt to send any item. Having to claim back through bank.

Scam product, advertised with misleading pictures and description, cost £20 for two little pieces of cardboard which the product details suggested would be for an entire cat toy frame. The staff replying to my concerns by email were incredibly rude and dismissive.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

If I could give happy poppy and specifically Rachel J a zero star review I would. Never received the item I purchased on the 27/04, requested a refund, Rachel J tells me it’s delivered and sends me directions on how to look for a delivered item, I request a refund for the 3rd time, Rachel J tells me to return the item I never received, so I ask what am I do and if it’s a joke. I believe this company is a scam, I would not recommend at all, they took my money and gave me nothing in return. Joke.

UPDATE 28/05: After all of the above from happy-poppy, specifically Rachel J, decided on the 17/05 to actually investigate with the delivery service, which is something I thought would have been done in the first instance. On the 18/05 I received another email apologising for my items not arriving. I have not heard anything from Rachel J regarding my refund. This company is actually stealing from me and Rachel J is gate keeping this. I cannot believe this company has any good reviews. Thieves.

Final update 28/05: They sent me a delivery notice picture for a delivery I never received, I have reported them to Action Fraud UK (actionfraud.police.uk) as a fraudulent and scam company although this company is based in Hong Kong not the UK. Disgusting company and customer service specifically Rachel J who has gate kept my refund. Thieves.

Finally a refund 30/05: After notifying happy-poppy I had reported them for being a scam and fraudulent company, I received a very happy email offering to 1. Send me the products again 2. Get a refund. I requested my money back (again!!). Finally, today I have confirmation of my refund (did not need to go through my bank in the end).

Terrible company, it’s been horrendous to deal with them. Never again and I am very happy to live the rest of my life happy-poppy free! .

Ordered some dog beds on 25th April. Items still not shipped. Disappointed.

I ordered some clippers for my cat. When they arrived they were in bits. I sent a photo and a video as I was told these were required despite what the website says about a 30 day guarantee. I am now being asked to explain what the issue is! It’s obvious the clippers aren’t fit for use. Beware!!!!!!

I just recived answer from the crooks at happy-poppy china about the two wrong size dog coats they sent me I ordered two large dog coats but although the package was marked large I measured them and they are 20.8 11 inches which is there medium size measurements so these crooks are still denying they sent wrong size coats please boycott this company they are terrible

I bought a cocoon for my puppy which she loved when it arrived. The website is slightly deceitful as it seems that it is a UK shop but it comes from somewhere in ASIA. I wished I had known this. However, after a number of emails and 2 weeks wait, my item arrived so that's why it's a 3 star

I want to warn other dog lovers about the waterproof jacket I bought for our dog. During a walk he spotted a squirrel... The sudden movement ripped the harness off the jacket. My husband had a difficult task getting him home again. If they had been on a main road it could have caused an accident. I contacted customer support and was told as 30 days had passed there would be no refund (if the count started when I received the jacket it was within the 30
days). The most important thing was ignored... the safety of the dog and others. Please do not risk it....

Don’t go there. After reading reviews too late after ordering I asked for a refund. They said I should wait and gave a link to a tracker. It said my parcel had been delivered at 10.44 and put in porch. I don’t have a porch and my security cameras showed I had no delivery arriving all that day. Previously they sent me an email on 3 march which showed the tracker telling me my parcel had been delivered on 8 March 4 days into the future. Rubbish. Going through the bank chargeback facility to get my money back.

Update: to be fair I eventually got a refund but I’m afraid that I still won’t be buying from them again. Untrustworthy.

Dog coat arrived on first use zip came apart. Useless.
Contacted customer service on 19th February sent photo.
Contacted me 20th February asked send video which I did.
Told they would pass on to their team.
It is now 5th March 2025.
I have heard nothing want a refund no contact since 20th March to me
I have now been told will receive full refund

Avoid their pet stuff is dangerous and is very cheaply made. They charge normal prices for terrible products. There customer service is appalling

I read excellent reviews which I now assume were phony, having “UK” in the title suggested (wrongly as it now transpires) that the company is UK based - my item in fact comes from the other side of the world, has yet to arrive and having contacted the company and explicitly being told the item was with a local company - I tracked that the item was still in China! So I feel both conned and lied to

*Update* ........i contacted my bank to do a charge back. They paid me the money back in 10 mins whilst looking into the company. The next day i got a full refund including the postage they tried to deduct! For all those fighting them try the charge back option....it works against these con artists! . .....Absolutely shocking company and complete con artists. Pity I didn't read these reviews before parting with money. No order has arrived after 4 weeks and telling me I wasn't in when delivered!! They didn't even try. They send the same email back and then don't refund your money. Lesson learned like all the other reviews!! I have taken to posting comments on Facebook, just in the hope they don't con anyone else.

I ordered a split extendable dog lead. I was excited, as I have been struggling to walk my two dogs and newborn baby. It arrived and one of the buttons was so stiff, I couldn’t stop my dog, when we got near the road. I thought, maybe it will loosen up, so tried going out with the lead once more and this time. The other button broke all together. I pressed it and nothing happened at all. So basically I have a retractable lead that does not retract. It cost £26.00, took over two weeks to arrive and put both my dogs in danger. To add insult to injury, I emailed them on their customer service address. They took several days to get back to me and have just now offered me a 10% discount off future purchases as a gesture of goodwill. No offer of a refund whatsoever. They also asked for evidence, so this didn’t happen to others in the future. That does not help me.

Wish I'd read reviews here before I purchased. Not only did it take forever for my purchase to arrive, it arrived damaged. Hardly surprising given the item was made of cardboard... Waste of money

I ordered from this company as the shipping was the quickest and said from the uk, however it turns out it was from China and took 3 weeks. I specifically make a point of not using Chinese companies so found this very frustrating. The Bark Bag I ordered was really not fit for purpose so I am returning. They offered me a 20% refund to keep it but it's not good so I am waiting in anticipation for my refund
