This is probably the most helpful course a parent could do. We learned so much useful information in two hours and we wouldn’t have known almost any of it beforehand. We feel so much more confident now that we’d be able to take the right steps if the worst were to happen. Sammy is brilliant - she is so knowledgable and has a super positive way of covering all of the material. We didn’t at any point feel scared or uncomfortable, just felt like we’re being prepared really well for any first aid situation. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended Sammy's first aid course, she is super friendly and makes learning first aid simple and even enjoyable. My husband and I have done two courses with Sammy now, one in a group and one private session and I feel a lot more equipped to deal with a situation should it arise!

A CPR course for 7 eleven year old boys. They were super engaged and left feeling confident that they would know what to do. All down to the fantastic teacher - Sammy. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

Really thorough course which covers all the detail you'd need as a first time parent or as a refresher session. What i really liked about Sammy was that she also tailored the session to the parents by asking around at the beginning were there any areas we wanted to cover in detail and the handout/booklet is great for referencing after the session.

A fantastic course for any parent. Sammy is a brilliant teacher who gets the tone of the session spot on. A lot was covered in 2 hours, without making you feel overwhelmed. I would definitely recommend doing this course.

I took Sammy's first aid course for babies and children this week and it was absolutely amazing, cannot recommend enough. Her training managed to be comprehensive without making you worry and light-hearted without making light of the seriousness of the subject area. There were opportunities to try out resuscitation and I found her explanations of the different approaches for different ages very valuable. She also taught us how a defibrillator works - simpler than I would have imagined - and really helped to debunk a lot of myths about things that I have held as common knowledge for a long time. Sammy is really knowledgeable and I came away from the session feeling empowered.

I'm so pleased I went ahead and booked a private session with Sammy to teach myself and my family first aid. She was very informative and friendly. The session overall was excellent and we all feel much more confident in knowing the basics of baby and child first aid.

We booked a private session for ourselves and our son’s grandparents with Sammy just ahead of introducing solids. I really wanted to learn about what to do in case of choking which was my main reason for booking. Not only did Sammy’s session equip me with the knowledge and confidence to know what to do in such a situation, we also learnt about CPR, head injuries, burns, defibrillators, signs and symptoms of meningitis, possible hazards in the home and more. There was a lot of information in the session and Sammy was able to deliver it in a clear and easy to digest fashion with lots of hands on modelling with dummies and opportunities to have a go ourselves - I really feel that the way it was delivered will really help us to retain what we learnt, having done other first aid courses in the past, I always felt that I had forgotten some of the main points afterwards, however this time I feel really confident with what I’ve taken away from the session (Sammy also provides a useful handout to refer back to). We were all really happy with the session and found it to be extremely useful and informative. Sammy was also happy to answer any questions we had and asked us if there was anything in particular we wanted to learn about at the beginning of the session, so any concerns we had were addressed. I would recommend Sammy to anyone looking for a good first aid course for infants and children. Thank you Sammy!

The way she passionately and professionally delivered what was obviously serious topics made the session enjoyable and memorable. I recently completed a one-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course with Sammy and it was absolutely brilliant.

Sammy is an expert in making a serious subject accessible and understandable. I feel SO much more confident in dealing with emergency situations which, as someone who teaches classes where parents bring their babies, sets my mind at rest.

It's easy to think a day of learning first aid will be a bit dry but this was the complete opposite! Sammy's teaching style is relaxed and friendly and she packs so much into the day using a mix of learning styles. I really enjoyed it and would urge anyone who needs to learn these important skills or refresh their knowledge to get in touch with Sammy asap!

I am very familiar with child and baby cpr but great to have a refresher and learnt a lot of new information regarding burns, choking vs gagging and meningitis and head injuries.

Sammy is engaging, approachable, funny, down to earth and incredibly knowledgable in her field - but even better, she can impart that to attendees without causing brain fog, stress or drying the pants out of the subject.

All resources are provided in a professional manner and Sammy goes above and beyond to make content fun to learn and suitable to the clientele; we were a group of families who had our babies with us. Sammy wasn’t phased, she seemed genuinely happy to be there teaching and empowering us to respond calmly and safely for our babies.

I've attended two sessions with Sammy now and both have been absolutely brilliant. Easy to understand, clear and simple instructions - Sammy is able to make what is a fairly difficult thing to learn about a great experience. Beyond being able to articulate the different elements of first aid in a great way, Sammy is also a lovely person. I can't recommend her sessions enough.
