Also a member of staff continued speaking over me, whilst I was asking about the health and storing of a scoby.

I Never wish to use this disrespectful company, due to their lack of service, accountability, ownership nor responsibility.
I was not reassured that the scoby didn’t have any mould.
No adult calm conversation, I was just spoken at, spoken over, and blaming the whole time, then comparing me as an individual with the rest of their customers, singling me out. This is called bullying.

Awful communication - missing items
Awful communication - I received tracking information for someone else's parcel - when I queried it - I was told that I requested a change of address - I did not!
When the package did arrive - It was missing an item
I contacted customer service and 2 weeks later have had no response, no refund and no resolution.

Slight mix up with some missing items from the starter kit but Michelle was very polite and helpful, sorting replacement items promptly.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service - owner sounds angry defensive when asked about lack of communication about orders. Placed order on 2nd of March and heard nothing by 13th March - got told that I need to read their order info properly…Cancelled order but don’t have confidence that I get my money back.

Avoid this company
Ordered item on 28th January.
Relieved no items, no emails or contact with company.
Contacted company several times via Webaire email, and through social media.
When initially got through to customer services, when I asked for the agent's name, they hung up, eventually got through to someone who has cancelled my order, stating that they sent several emails, none of which I received and yest I checked my spam and junk folders, when I asked for a confirmation of cancellation email to be sent it miraculously got through.
Avoid this company. At best they are amateurish and at worse a scam

Poor delivery they sound inefficient.
Been waiting a week for a small book of pH test strips.
It hasn't even been dispatched yet despite their 1 to 3 day delivery and a cockamamie excuse from the company. " Everything is in a list so we wait for the next available delivery, it'll probably be dispatched tomorrow." That's despite their high delivery charges (£6) for one envelope.
Note to company - you did apologise but "sorry" is the cheapest word.
Finally received a reply from HK - 7 months later.
Clearly maths not their strong point. The actual amount of postage was £4.95 +20% vat = £5.94 a fraction off of £6 not £4 as the reply below tries to plead. Also the order was made on the 20th and shipped on the 26th, the paper trail shows. It was received on the 28th. I can just about accept inefficiency, along with an apology but downright lies are more troublesome. I w2ould if I could after the rubbish written below upgrade my rating to zero stars!

Slow delivery even if no live cultures
Have used happy kombucha a few times for scoby & kefir grains, both are doing great so very pleased. I was aware there would be delay in receiving due to it being live cultures. However my 3rd purchase was just for a jar & a spoon for which I had to wait 10 days to be notified of shipment and received a couple of days after that. Did complain about long wait but they do all orders in order of receiving no matter what its for. Would only use for cultures in future.

Just received my order a couple of days ago; first time making kefir!
Instructions were clear regarding delivery, also an email was sent a few days before explaining how to prepare kefir.

I wish I had seen these reviews before. I ordered over £100 worth of jars and grains etc from Happy Kombucha. They didn’t arrive so I phoned repeatedly. I eventually got through and the woman on the phone was agressive and unfriendly and was going to charge me for the return Royal Mail fee because apparently the order had been returned to them. She said the order didn’t arrive because my house name wasn’t in the address. I paid by PayPal and have checked with pay pal and my address is correct so not an issue at my or PayPal’s end. I get that things go wrong but the woman was so off with me on the phone that I ended up saying wanted to cancel my orders. What happened to polite customer service? She said she would refund but hasn’t done so so I suppose I’m in for a fight. I won’t be ordering from them again.
The reply below from Happy Kombucha is more than a year after my trust pilot review was posted. As I said in the review the problem I had was not that things had gone wrong, that happens it was the agression and the tone of HK’s customer service. Incidentally I haven’t changed any of the details in my PayPal and have things delivered frequently to the address that is on my account with no problems so I’m really not sure what went wrong on that occasion.

First class! Kefir grains were delivered promptly and within 2 days of arrival I'm up and running. Clear instructions were provided and the grains are healthy and flourishing. In the unlikely event I need more I won't hesitate to order again
Order incomplete; no response.
Ordered 3 bags of dried ginger - only one bag arrived. Have emailed twice and have had no response. I am not that bothered by the sum involved but feel like this money has been stolen from me, and it’s not a nice feeling.

Great company, very impressed with their service and would use them again.…
Very surprised to read the negative reviews of this company. I ordered a starter kit. It did take a few days to arrive but the order was fulfilled exactly as described. I placed a second order which was in error and I had to cancel. The company recommends phoning to discuss order queries which I did. The lady I spoke to was excellent, really helpful and gave me lots of useful ideas about which fruits work best with the fermented kefir as well as sitting it my order.
This is a small business, not an Amazon power house so I feel you need to give them a bit more time to fulfil the order and be a little bit patient.
I would definitely use them again and I am very happy with the product.

Unprofessional and tardy - submitted order 1st November, rang to enquire, emailed to no response and only JUST 26 days later got an update on delay cause/explanation
Still no ETA of arrival. If things go wrong I suggest company reaches out to consumers in timely manner.

Very poor experience
Very poor experience. I’d advise strongly against buying from Happykombucha. My order arrived nothing like advertised. Vessel sizes are half of what they were supposed to be. Content does not match order. Price in u justified. Contact with consumer support is non existent. Also order took 3 weeks to arrive. Avoid. You can buy same things on Amazon for third of the price, it arrives next day and will be as described. Bad experience.

Details below:
Placed an order on the 8th October for an order totalling £125.30. Everything in stock. Received an email on 11th October saying order was fulfilled and a Royal Mail tracking number indicating that Royal Mail were expecting the parcel from Happy Kombucha. There was no change in that tracking status for a week (meaning Royal Mail had not received the parcel).
19th October I emailed customer service asking for an update. 5 days pass then I finally receive an email saying its being investigated and the employee will get back the next day. I hear nothing for almost a week so again I emailed on the 30th for an update. Two days later, 1st November, Michelle (I assume one of the company directors from the company records filed at Companies House) emailed with an apology and explanation about lost package thats Royal Mail's fault and the employee originally investigating but never replied no longer with them because of issues like not replying. But at any day now Royal Mail should finish their investigation and I will get my order shipped out by DPD. Although the investigation is actually a separate internal issue that does not normally impact the ability of a reputable company in re-shipping out an unfulfilled order immediately, I wait.
I hear nothing again. Two weeks pass and on 13th November I ask for an update again. End result - I ended up calling Royal Mail with the tracking number to verify all that Happy Kombucha had claimed. Royal Mail confirmed and logged that I was the first person to register an issue with this tracking (in spite of Happy Kombucha claiming they had already requested a Royal Mail investigation that was ongoing, then finally concluded). I was told I would get a refund but that never happened, so I contacted my bank, who opened their own investigation and finally managed to get my money refunded (via their insurance policy) through my bank’s fraud department.
Ultimately, Happy Kombucha’s words and claims, including their reply below, do not in any way match up to my own experience of dealing with them and their actual actions.

After waiting for 2 weeks for dispatch contacted happy kombucha. Awaiting delivery of containers. Wasn’t informed of delay, lack of interest from company. Ordered elsewhere. I won’t be using them again.
