Adds insult to injury. Avoid…

Joined the action against Woodford on a no win no fee basis. The case has been decided by the FCA and victims are to be given derisory compensation. Now this firm has written to say the will be charging fees and expenses amounting to 80% of the paltry payout even though it didn't go to court and the compensation was nothing to do with them at all. Given the financial ruin that we have suffered this is intolerable. Other law firms eh RGL are charging nothing, accepting that we've been through enough already. Strongly advise against using this firm.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME !!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME !!!

Tried to pursue a Mortgage Prisoners claim against Mortgage Express.
After 3 years apparently they do not have enough funding to make a claim so they use the FOS haha what a joke even though previous cases with the FOS were already not upheld.
Forget these companies No win No fee they are complete timewasters and have not got the money or experience to take these claims on.
Notice they are all group claims trying to get a back end commission of 35%
PATHETIC JOKERS !!!!!!

I started the ball rolling on a claim…

I started the ball rolling on a claim with this company for suffering being a mortgage prisoner and paying high mortgage rates £1850 monthly for 13 years ( when it could have been half that if I was free to browse the market )
Communication with this company was super at the beginning
But now seems to have gone quiet 🤐
I have not heard from them on any updates for over 18 months
I have no idea how things are going 🤷‍♀️ I really hope they can help us . Is there ANYONE on here that actually HAS had any compensation in the mortgage prisoner catagorey or is it everyone winning all at once situation we are hoping for ?
I live in hope x they do seem a very promising professional company and putting hours in at their own expense

Working at their own risk for the right cases

We’ve been very pleased that Harcus Parker took on our case after our long wait and expense depending on questionable referral companies who promised us that we could successfully make a claim for the mis-selling of a fractional timeshare. We found Harcus Parker to be true to their selling point of ‘working at their own risk for the right cases’. They were professional, conscientious, polite, patient, and principled in their recommendations and decisions, and I would recommend even small fry like us with our comparatively insignificant case, to try them. And by the way, through their efforts working so well with us, our claim of an unfair relationship was upheld!

Great firm

I was delighted to be able to work with HP. I was aware of their reputation in the market before I worked with them which was excellent. My experience to date has totally backed that up.

Last month I needed and obtained some…

Last month I needed and obtained some helpful legal guidance from Harcus Parker.

I was relieved that I was able to speak to exactly the same team four years ago when, as Harcus Sinclair as it then was, I was a trustee shareholder in Lloyds Bank and a member of the class action led by Harcus Sinclair against various directors of Lloyds Bank over the acquisition of HBOS. Why was I so relieved ?

As chairman of the trustees of our family company pension fund having held shares for many years in Lloyds Bank, we were horrified by the bungled takeover of HBOS by Lloyds which decimated the pension fund’s holding of Lloyds shares and Halifax PIBs and the annual dividend income arising from them.

We joined the Lloyds Bank shareholders class action against the directors of Lloyds Bank more in hope than expectation.

My co-trustees were impressed by the vigour and rigour, week in week out, delivered by Damon and his team in assembling this complicated action for compensation. The paperwork to be completed by class action participants is quite daunting but guidance was readily available when needed.

We were kept in the picture throughout, they were always accessible, and their nightly summaries of each day's trial proceedings, written in plain simple English, were hugely appreciated, even looked forward to.

We were encouraged to attend - as indeed we did - the pre-trial hearings as well as the trial itself.

The legal team at Harcus Sinclair (now Harcus Parker) and their Counsel could not have done more to secure a favourable verdict.

Group claim for Mortgage Prisoners

I found the communication very professional, the team are happy to answer any questions either by email or telephone and overall the process was efficient. The website to sign up to the claim was straight forward and easy to do. I've had regular updates by email on the progress of the claim and hope that in the end, we win our case against greedy lenders who think its ok to charge higher than normal SVRs!!!
