This was a very well organised private tour of 4 places in India we hadn’t yet visited . I gave the company my brief and on the whole they delivered . The hotels were all very good and much as expected . If any problems arose they were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use them again

The guides and drivers were really good and hotels spot on. We were kept informed of pick up times by the staff in India by WhatsApp and they were always early which pleased me.

After researching several tour companies for our 8-day journey through Northern India, I chose Harji's India—a decision that proved invaluable in ways I couldn't have anticipated.

From the initial planning stages, Shivjit Bagga (Shiv) demonstrated why personalised service matters. While another company sent a generic cut-and-paste itinerary with vague hotel categories (basic, comfort, luxury), Shiv took time to listen to our specific desires. He was impressively knowledgeable about all the hotels I had researched and attractions we wanted to visit. Within days, he delivered a detailed, customised itinerary with specific hotel options at each location, showing his extensive first hand knowledge of the region.

The booking process was seamless, and we were provided with contact information for Harji's local team in India, which proved crucial.

Upon arrival, Sumant Bakshi (Sam) from the local team immediately reached out to orient us. What stood out was Sam's commitment to our experience—he contacted us almost daily to check on our satisfaction and prepare us for the next day's activities. With multiple guides at different locations, his coordination provided reassurance that everything was running smoothly.

However, it was during an unexpected crisis that Harji's India truly demonstrated their exceptional value. Near the end of our trip in Agra, my wife suffered a serious fall, breaking both her hip and wrist. In an unfamiliar country with Agra being particularly challenging for quality healthcare, we felt overwhelmed and uncertain.

I contacted Sam at 2am in desperation. His response was immediate and decisive. He consulted his medical contacts, who advised that Delhi (four hours away) offered better hospitals for the required hip surgery. Within an hour, Sam had arranged a private ambulance, and by 3am we were enroute to Delhi. Sam personally met us at the hospital, helped with the admission process and paperwork, lifting an enormous burden from my shoulders during this traumatic time.

His support didn't end there. He arranged accommodations near the hospital and checked in regularly on both my wife's recovery and my wellbeing. What began as a tour guide relationship evolved into something that felt like having a friend by our side during a crisis.

While our holiday ended differently than planned, Sam's extraordinary support prevented a difficult situation from becoming overwhelming. Harji's India demonstrated that they don't just sell tours—they provide comprehensive care for their travellers, even in the most challenging circumstances.

For anyone planning an Indian adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend Harji's India. Their detailed planning before the trip and their unwavering support during our emergency were truly beyond what any traveller could expect.

We booked a holiday to India, we had a couple of days in Delhi, we went looking for tigers, we went to the tea plantations in Munnar and finally ended up in the Maldives. Shiv at Harji's sorted everything out for us and it all went seamlessly. We had an amazing holiday and throughout the whole process of booking and being on holiday Shiv was always there for us and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending Harji's.

What a pleasure to deal with this wonderful company. Shiv planned our holiday to India for us. Such a great person to deal with. The Hotels were super and just what were wanted - smaller and interesting. Guides and drivers and brilliant. Wonderful experience. All aspects of our holiday were great but the what made this such a 5 star holiday was when our flights were cancelled and Shiv stepped in and rebooked our flight and found us a choice of Hotels to stay in until we could fly home. Would thoroughly recommend them to you and we certainly will use them again in the very near future. Well done!

Shiv at Harji’s India organised our Golden Triangle Tour this year. He did this very well and we had a lovely holiday. I would completely recommend them.

Fantastic- from the beginning (planning our journey) to the end (dropping us off at the airport for the flight home) everything was taken care off and worked perfectly.
We ( 2 females) wanted to see a lot nature in southern India and Shiv took our wishes into account right from the beginning. He designed a fabulous holiday for us in which we managed to see tigers, leopards, elephants and a sloth bear as well as countless birds and plants.
Our driver (Sony) was lovely, very friendly and made sure any tours, trips or sightseeing worked without a hitch and we were safe at all times.
We stayed in some great hotels and were able to experience a lot of Indian food.
The boat trip on the backwater was an amazing experience!
Would have loved to stay longer and if I go back would definitely use this company again, cannot recommend them highly enough.

This holiday was one of the most fabulous experiences we have ever had and we have travelled widely. Such different experiences from beautiful temples, to amazing wildlife, to stunning scenery, interesting cities and gorgeous beaches. All the experiences were so different but so magical. Special mention has to go to the 'going to bed ceremony' at Meenekshi temple and the Nagarhole tiger reserve, The ceremony was phenomenal we were transported to a different world. The safaris at Nagarhole were excellent both jeep and boat we saw an abundance of wildlife, animals and birds and even a leopard at very close quarters phenomenaL experience. I can't recommend Harris India enough Shiv our travel consultant was superb listened to everything we wanted to do and then put together a wonderful bespoke package for us. Service in UK and in India were faultless ground handling team and drivers were excellent and the level of accommodation was extremely high. Guides were also phenomenal with excellent knowledge of the history and culture of the places we were visiting and a level of English. I would definitely use Harji's India again without a doubt.

Everything worked as described, staff were efficient, the driver excellent and we liked all the accommodation provided.

Harji has organised many holidays for me over the last 35 years and having refound him and Shivjit they certainly didn’t let me down. Hotels were fantastic, particularly enjoyed the smaller, cosy old palaces with superb customer focus.
Interbal travel was comfortable and all transfers really took the pressure off. I would certainly travel with Harjis India again and would definitely recommend
